We are visiting Cartagena, the Caribbean coast of Colombia. It's probably one of the most expensive towns in Colombia however it's worth a visit. With it's beautiful old town and not so beautiful but acceptable beaches Cartagena makes for a great getaway when traveling Colombia.
If you want to splurge a little more, make sure to visit the nearby Rosario Islands. Beaches are beautiful, prices are high and small time scams are rampant.

and I recommend one, in San Andres islands, a Colombian offshore island a few miles away from Nicaragua. Crystal clear waters and white beaches with the softest sand.

what part of Canada are U from? you have a different accent. Maybe because now Cartagena is in slow season and the beaches are deserted, but in Colombia you can find better, in San Andres islands, the finest in Colombia, go check' em.

The old town is quite small actually. I would not stay there for more than3 days personally.

Cool videos in Colombia, BUT actually no one of the music you play is Colombian. Particularly in this one is Brazilian.

Finding royalty free music that sounds good is really hard. So I usually try to either play stuff I record off live music on the street, or whatever latin music I can manage to find online. As long as the mood is right :) If you have good stuff to recommend, let me know!

Did you spend more time in santa Marta than Cartagena? My god unbelieveble, Cartagena is better than santa Marta and there are more things to do, is a bigger city...
