I'm Elizabeth and have travelled to many places across the world. My recent trips include Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Cuba and Portugal.
My favourite things are street art, beer, weird unique places and crazy adventures. So I try to find as much of that as possible when I'm on the road. It's never just the typical touristy spots.
Ha ha! When you said Canada, I smiled! Listening to you up to that point I kept thinking she sounds French Canadian. I am French Canadian and I’ve been in Colombia for a few months and I kind of miss home. I love your video because you focus on cheap eats. I never really go to these fancy touristy restaurants. I eat on the street and I found it to be the best food ever. Thank you for this video.😊
hey! which train did you take to Porto? I'm sure it's 1 train that takes about 3 hrs, but my search indicates there isn't just one train and you get there, some directions show me 2 trains.
I really appreciate you sharing your story. I am glad you were able to hold onto your valuables. It is always good to be safe- keep passport and most of your money in a money belt under your shorts/trouser. Then you have no worries. Not sure why most people do not do this and save themselves from headache.
I really like your vlogging style of Kiev. Its so much better and real unlike so many others that have this tourist feel. Yours is more deep down and real. I hope you get to go back and do more when ever you feel its safe to do again.
People are wondering what happened to Elizabeth. Rumor has it that when she was staying on a farm in Zambia, one night she went to the outhouse to take a shit and the hogs ate her.
Sorry, but I just visited Monreal and I had a really bad experience. And what is with all the graffiti everywhere? Tell your mayor to fix the city a bit more.
Well, Burning Man changes you, every time a bit, and it often takes a while to figure out what happened, why it happened that way, and what you are telling yourself about your own life, which of your own limit and boundaries are maybe not fitting you anymore. But it is always just you and yourself determing how it will be there, like a meditation where the form is wellknown, but what happens inside totally depends on your state of mind. My word this year was "flow" from the beginning, and I floated emotionally along a calm and cozy river, maybe a little bit too warm, but very nice. And then out of the blue I found myself in faster running water with some rapids, and that was fun but also difficult to maneuver, and I went under water more than once. In the end I went down a waterfall, and it took me several days to return breath closer to normal. That was an unexpected emotional ride, but somehow it revealed that part of me which likes to leave my comfort zone not only once a year. So, it still can be the blue pill, but depending on your adventure mood it can also show you how deep your own rabbit hole goes. And I also tend to compare it with the magical theater from Hermann Hesse's "Steppenwolf". For Madmen Only! And in the end everything remaining is laughter 🙂
Hi, nice vid. Question, I see this was a few years ago but I'm asking people who've taken to train, do you think it's necessary to purchase online from abroad. I am in the U.S. but I'm wondering if I should just leave it and buy on the day of. BTW love both Toronto and Montreal.
This is a very charming city, I hope I can visit again sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!
This is definitely not a traditional sugar shack meal. Traditionally they would have pea soup, ham, wood fired bread, meat pies, and other food you would find on a farm. This is a very contemporary take on a sugar shack. You should try an authentic one.
Funny when you say that your favourite place (patatipatata) makes their poutine with real potatoes. Like the other places does it without real potatoes 😂😂
