I've used white vinegar salt and dish detergent in my yard to kill weeds for years.. Need to get out there and do it NOW cause my killer weeds have taken over😳Do you STILL have to dig them out? Alot of work and NEED to remove them ASAP.. because they KEEP coming back. I have gallons of vinegar READY to GO😆 will definitely try without the salt. I only use it where it doesn't matter cause I have very little grass, or some areas trying to get rid of grass completely 🌿but GREAT tip on putting top soil and compost mix to regrow the grass.. 💕Learning something new everyday while working on my landscape projects🌱 Thanks 😊 $LlueezzDesign

BYD, when the POA is dead, should I pull the dead POA out of the ground before rubbing the top soil in that area? Or just leave the dead POA there like in the video and start rubbing the topsoil in and around the dead weed
I would say if you have the time and don’t mind it, pull it. Unless you’re on a pre emergent program, you will see them again next year but could be worse from spreading the seeds.

Soooo, I just watched another video of yours and then I went to this one. I bought tenacity thinking I could kill all the weeds going on a rampage in our yard. Then I realized you can’t use tenacity on Bermuda…but could I use it to spot treat the millions of weeds? Or should I just return it?
Works great when BermudaGrass is dormant. If you spot spray with it on actively growing BermudaGrass you have a lot of spots in lawn so I would recommend against that.

BYD: I’ve got to be real honest with you. I tried your concoction and I’m not kidding when I say I think it fertilized the weeds. I did it 2 days ago and they have done nothing but get greener and bigger. Thought I’d share my experience. 🤷
Awesome...How long after using this can I reseed? I imagine this kills poa trevelis also? My yards aren't big 500 sq ft. Each. i tried battling by hand for 3 days straight, I give up haven't made it to backyard yet. I have poa trev. And annua everywhere, just planted fescue last fall, thanks

I got this tip from BYD when you cut bag the grass. My yard was in rough shape and I have almost no poa. I don’t have a lot of grass either :) but I’m hoping the Bermuda spreads this year

I moved to a weed full lawn last July when I started watching, and spectracide hose spray made a big dent. Prewatering in my lesco stonewall with the bioadvanced pre emergent has made my lawn the most weed free in the neighborhood. Trying out sunniland yard mastery recommendations this year
BYD I'm a new subscriber but I need help... I'm in California and the house I bought has crabgrass all in the backyard and the roots are about a foot deep. How do I kill the crabgrass? It was rototilled and seeded but the crabgrass is still sprouting through it and bad. It is that very hard stem type. My front yard looks great and have the best lawn in the whole zipcode but that back is not so great $Demarrismith
Only problem with you guys in California is most of the Chemicals that work are prop 69. Bad news but rototilling it makes it worst. Seeding won’t help either. If it’s that bad a product called Quinclorac 75 DF will help but it requires some work.
BYD my front and back yard has weeds all over what should I do to treat the yard? And have some roots from the trees coming up in front and back yard too so grass want grow what should I do about that to fix it? Hey BYD I have hairy bittercress and I’m not sure if it’s Dallis grass, poa annua or crab grass what weed killer can I use the would take all of these out ?
The formula in the video if just SPOT spraying. POA and Dallisgrass have selective herbicides you can use that won’t hurt lawn ( Goggle for Dallisgrass ). Spectracide 47o kills all those other weeds you listed.
$DwaynePugh I definitely have a bunch of weeds I want to try this on. I want to spray as much solution on the weed, so it doesn't really get on my lawn.
