Thanks for asking, I'm not living there. I was going through Italy from France to Switzerland with a motorbike. I was in Genova for 3 days. I find it very safe and sound the weather was warm and sunny in late April. I hope this helps. I do recommend all Italy for anyone to visit a beautiful country.

May and June are the best if you don't like it too hot from July to September it's can be a bit hot. From my experience it's a nice city to visit anytime you can it's cheap and very clean, friendly people. Thank you
