Just wanted to say, I don’t think they included them more because of the fans… Though the fans were very obvious furious about the unfairness of the line distributions. We all wanted to hear more Louis and Niall. Wasn’t Louis the one who fought their management about it? Their management is known for how sh*tty they are. I know that Louis was so done with how controlled they were, so he fired their old writers for the third album (cause they were making them sound so childish and making their songs meaningless). And the boys used to talk about how Louis fought their management for band related stuff, which includes line distributions.

In the first two albums louis and niall was suppressed by the management and as you can see this is the reason they are so underrated and it even affected their solo careers and caused a lot of insecurities for louis and niall about their voices. Basically they had a shitty and biased management who decided what kind of music they'll make and didn't let the boys be themselves but louis later on fought for the boys' right and it got better from Midnight Memories....

finding myself here a year later hoping and begging for the reactions to the rest of 1d's albums😭 going forward it does get better in every sense: louis and niall finally start having actual parts in the songs, the lyrics become more mature especially from midnight memories (thanks to louis and liam taking charge of the writing), and also sonically they completely start becoming more rock influenced. it's been a long time, I don't even know if you'll see this comment, but I really do hope you'll react to their other albums (and also the solo projects of the members you didn't react to already). anyway great reaction guys!❤
Yeah,I hope they soon react to the other albums that are even better because Louis and Niall began to have more relevance in the songs and also because they implemented different sounds and harmonies

Same!! Like everything is loud and they’re all singing at the same time but Louis’ voice always stands out, even if he’s just whispering. So unique! I can always tell his voice apart from everyone else’s.

Okay so Liam usually lead the tracks because he had the most experience among the five of them plus was the most comfortable starting live, like for example, Zayn -- having anxiety and all. Also would be great if you reacted to his Icarus falls album, it is so great especially the second disc

You guys are on the right track... My daughter was 9 - 14 during the 1d craze and the thing that I liked most about them is how "girl positive" their songs are. None of that "yo b+#@h I'm your king blah blah blah" 1d songs are more like "I want to treat you like a queen...Am I worthy of you" (little extreme but you get the idea!) Great message for pre-teen / teen girls. Unfortunately my daughter outgrew 1d... but I didn't😁!

one direction was a band with such amazing vocals. the way they go from high to low notes was what made me became a directioner, their low base notes are so attractive. i love their earlier songs !!

I'm going to be honest. I don't like the first 2 albums (except maybe a few songs like Taken (because all the drama! that bridge! lol), I Want, Same Mistakes (reminds me of Keane " Somewhere Only We Know" with some of the instrumentalization) and Irresistible, Rock Me and Over Again) but I'm here because I love watching your analysis :) But after those 2... oh boy, Midnight Memories and ESPECIALLY Four and Made in the A.M are my favs (I listened the whole discography by the end of 2019 and I was very obsessed with it during the first part of the pandemic... it was a type of scape I guess :B... so, I know, I was very late to the 1D party jajaja). Also, in these 3 albums they started to be more involved with the lyrics, especially Louis (my fav 🥺) and Liam, so I feel that makes this 3 albums more special.
