I cooked spanish rice dish tonight. Substitued 'long grain' rice. I used a larger copper saute pan (as my skillet was too small). A very delicious dish. Chorizo was full of flavour. Thank you!
He is one of the people that made me love cooking.he was on cooks country and americas test kitchen.i was shocked when he left .to me ,he was the star of the show.he had such enthusiam and knowledge thst it was infectious.
@@manuelalmendarez2232 Christopher Campbell was the reason I watch that show and I never knew what happened to him are used to buy old is cookbooks self they were just awesome but then I have learned a little bit more since I’ve gotten on RU-vid glad that he encouraged you!!
Its all knew to me.his enthusiasm and knowledge of food inspired me to love cooking and to be a better cook.i always looked forward to seeing the show each time i think on pbs or kcet but many of the shows or the main hosts have moved on.but he does make a diference and his suport staff also helped of course.
I was going to watch this on Create late last night, but forgot and missed it, so looked it up on YT and sure enough it's here. These are three great recipes. Yes, they didn't give the exact measurements, but I can figure it close enough. I want to make the Spanish rice dish, but without the chorizo, so I'll probably have to up the spices. The addition of the head of garlic and the sliced tomatoes at the end is a nice touch. I will not use my oven though, I'll just cover it and let it finish on the stove like a regular Spanish rice. Then I want to make the scallion, ginger, cilantro topping. I may sub thin sliced chicken breast cutlets for the pork chops, but I will try that dredging mix, looks great. Then the three cheese pasta - yum. I hate blue cheese, so I'll leave that out, but I will for sure use the panko and the topping cheese.
Why is there such low viewer engagement on such a well-known channel? And where are all the previous people? Matt? All the regulars? Every time there's some new person. Don't prefer.
I'm guessing it is because you cannot make this recipe from the actual video because they do not provide quantities for ingredients - which is the norm on RU-vid, even with America's Test Kitchen. Most viewers are probably basic home cooks, so they are looking for detailed instructions.
I’ve never heard “chorizo” pronounced that way. I always appreciate folks who take the trouble to pronounce Spanish words correctly. (It’s possible she got confused with Italian “z” as in “pizza,” which does have a “t” sound in there.)
It is true that she is pronouncing it incorrectly. In Spanish the z is pronounced like th in Spain, and in other parts of the world the z is pronounced like an s.
Them trying to pass BIANCA as LATINA is ridiculous, she can't even pronounce the SPANISH words properly, especially CHORIZO😆🙆 It appears she is BRAZILIAN, and BRAZILIAN is definitely not LATINA🤭
@@joannaedwards6325 instead of asking the anglocized GOOGLE how to pronounce "CHORIZO" you should ask an actual LATIN person how to say it!!! Its a SPANISH word, not an AMERICAN version of a SPANISH word, GOOGLE even mispronounces the word "GUACAMOLE" just like the rest of the ANGLOS!!!🙄
