Everything was executed perfectly. Nice concept. However, I knew the 'sad' mode would've been hard. There's not really a specific way to show sad with just type.
I love the way you promote your YT Channel. Its not annoying not like the stereotypes of promoting (can't find appropriate term for this yet though) and as a viewer myself I got your message that you too understand that viewers is used to hear this "like and sub common dialogoue"but this time you went into different approach. Nice thouhtful. NICE content. Ah no, Excellent!
This was great. Wish there was a LOVE ❤️ button. Would be interesting to see you do the same challenge (aggressive sad premium etc) using other single design elements like colours, white space, contrast, etc. (For sad I might have done lower case heading and a thin, single lonely column. )
@@FluxAcademy fantastic! I loved how you just did it on the fly and talked aloud what you were thinking as you went along even including what you weren’t liking. Thanks for being so generous with your teachings. Your other video on big medium and small has changed my own work forever. I realized the problems with my designs is that they actually needed giant medium and tiny and your video really showed me that. Your BIG was about 4 times the size. NOW I have finally understood what contrast really means. Thanks again!
Wow! I must say you got me in suspense when you designing the playful version. You initially have a lot of ways you came up that looks great, but each time, you will change it to something else. I was here sitting across my screen, saying, just leave it... don't edit further! lol, as if you could hear me... hahaha
I like this bigger contrast as you made in premium. But what about readability - small line height and too small font size? I have lots of questions :))
Amazing video concept. Opened my eyes to how mod can be dictated by layout and typography alone. I am going to steal some of the layout ideas to get in the mood to create of creating in that theme. I read through the comments, and I agree lets get Matt Brunton and Rachel Hurry take this challenge. Both have a unique skill set and different eye at things.
I love such design challanges, it's indeed mindblowing what we as designers can do with only changing the lay-out. @Flux I do wonder though why Illustrator and not Indesign?
@@ajmalnajath1399 with my 15 years of experience as a designer I can tell that a combination of both programs is much more effecient for creating stunning lay-out work. Where Illustrators lacks in lay-out tools, Indesign makes up for it;. Likewise where Indesigns lacks the flexibilty to create an illustrated text or design elements, Illustrator makes up for it. They are build to work together... Professionally it would make more sense to do this kind of work in Indesign in my opinion, so I only wondered why Ren chose Illustrator instead as a professional himself. Of course from a content creation point of view Illustrator is quicker and shortens the video. Sadly it's at the cost of quality and some struggles in lay-out'ing something. Don't get me wrong though, I love Flux's channel and Ren's content! It's a fair question though. 😉
A font is a set of printable or displayable text characters in a specific style and size. The type design for a set of fonts is the typeface and variations of this design form the typeface family . Thus, Helvetica is a typeface family, Helvetica italic is a typeface, and Helvetica italic 10-point is a font.
