@@johnpaulabocad6941 all her secondaries have dog shit accuracy, she struggles to get 100 hits in games where Massachusetts easily gets 300 Her armor is pointless. Most people shoot fire-starting HE, and the AP ships just farm you for 15k pen volleys. Comparatively, Massachusetts can angle while bringing all guns to bear, and can live longer because her heal is _always_ up.

I parked my GK 2km behind a 15k hp Des Memes focused my secondaries at him while i shot at his friend. Poor dude died in 30 seconds, yeah i bet he felt pretty stupid, i would too if i got disrespected like that in a Des moines
I mean, its kinda true with GK lol, getting into secondary range in that fat boi isn't easy while getting focused by every HE spaming cruiser and torpedo demons, and with the size of that ship you'll proboblly die before the secondary even fires once lol
@@Sunnyboy-ob4xz Well...as a GK player, while I do sometimes get focused to death, mainly because BB meta is "STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THE ENEMY BOATS AS PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE OR THEY MIGHT HURT ME!" so suddenly the 3 or 4 teammates I had pushing with me saw the one smolensk pop up 15 km ahead and vanished into thin air, I do very often get my secondaries in play. Quite effectively too. It is my main armament against cruisers and DDs, often times I do have my secondaries work on a cruiser while my main guns are busy with a Battleship or something. I also denied a Georgia Ram once, he was on half health, I was 3/4, cyclone was raging so he popped up on my flank, put secondaries on him and he bowed in to ram me. I saw like 95% of my secondary shells hit and pen his nose for full damage. He was dead before he even came within 3km.
@@Chrinik I won't deny the secondaries on GK is good, I have one myself but even though I very much enjoy a secondary build Bismark and FDG, the GK is just too big and the current Meta does not favor close range brawl in a tier X game. Personally I've played around 30 games with the GK, not a lot I know but every game I get focused to death with 4 fires raging on deck or eat a full salvo of 5 torps because the ship is way too big to avoid them, its just downright painful to play. Much easier to build for concealment and snipe like every other BB

@@spinekingjrgensen5779 played a game in my tirpitz today and encountered a Vladivostok. He was sailing full broadside for 3min at 13km and I couldn't deal more than 4k dmg per Salvo. After he noticed me I kited away and he shot me with one 15k Salvo. The game felt like: "f*ck you! Play something Russian instead!"
No doubt about it, no way wargaming will release it with GZ secondary dispersion now. However, who knows, maybe they will let it pass. They have made many questionable decisions after all.
I'm pretty sure they have teamed. There's a Yuro video where Yuro torps a Myoko in a Furutaka. I'm pretty sure the voice questioning the choice is Flamu's

I miss it too, I didn't even get a chance to try the AGIR with full range secondaries before the nerf, it is just a shadow of it's former self at a 10k range
For the love of all WG, don't nerf this ship. We had enough with Smolensk, Kremlin and with the future "balanced" Russian cruiser split, leave Agir as it is.
Russians and Slavs hate Germans, so it's no surprise. Since the end of the Cold War, they can no longer actively hurt Germans, so they make a bunch of companies like WG and Gaijin to continue to take it out on Germany
@@Sunnyboy-ob4xz btw. i still t hink "Manual Secondaries" do not deserve 4 Skill points. Far too expensive for something so situational. I'd say 2 Skillpoints would be appropriate, maybe even a level 1 skill tbh.
@@thelvadam2884 you ARE aware that a skill being too expensive for what it does, or underperforming for it's costs, has nothing to do with "git gud"? Manual Secondaries cost 4 Points for a skill that's only really useful on certain ships, in certain situations that depending on the other players, might not arise. When you're capable of realizing that, come back.
This really feels like pre-dreadnoughts that had meager 2~4 main guns in total but had a phalanx of secondary and even tertiary batteries, which actually have done a lion's share of works at the Russo-Japanese war battles.

This ain't it chief. The Germans lost out on several decades of development and accumulated institutional knowledge. Their shit was WW1 vintage design with minor updates and scaled up.
Really interesting how you handle this secondary built with Ägir. Although said that this ship could be nerfed cause those amazing secondaries, it will hard to play as you have shown for average players, due to the huge tactical discipline for keeping the correct place to activate the secondaries. Thank you for sharing this smart game.
3 days after this video was released, the Agir's secondaries were nerfed from 3.1s per shot to 3.6s per shot...Good job WG, the German ship never deserves anything.
This is the only ship Gunther Lutjens is effective on... Long range, PRECISE secondaries means you activate the secondary talent very quickly and it's a cruiser so it shoots the main guns faster too and spots more.
3 guns (BFT + slot 6 sec mod + flag) without special captain is about Kitakaze with BFT+ MBM3(254k sec vs 242k of kitakaze) 4 guns -- BFT +MBM3 Harugumo (339k vs 303k) 5 guns -- BFT Smolensk (423k vs 426k) Also it's not exactly Graf formula, Graf would be a bit (~20%) more accurate, but for enemy it doesn't really matter. WG is so going to nerf this.
15 seconds in. Flamu, will you shut up? 😒 I am kinda looking out for this ship and the Odin because I like this in between play style that some German ships can offer. I love my Scharnhorst, Bismarck, Hindenburg and I even quite like the Hipper, all because I enjoy the flexibility they can offer. Now I basically already have written off the Odin but I really don't want to write off the Ägir as well just because you are giving WG ideas about enjoyment... edit: 5:36. FFS Flamu. 😣😅 I will probably spent the coal I have on the Thunderer or Georgia, but still.
I very want this ship. I love secondary bbs and this just looks like tons of fun. it seems oppressive inside 11km, but consistently staying inside secondary range and staying alive is a difficult play and people can just run from you. PLEASE WG FLAMU SAID THE SHIP IS FUN NOT OP, NO TOUCHY, LET THE GERMAN MEME BOI LIVE
Imagine a gk hull with no main guns a literally fuck ton of front rear and side facing mainz and 128 mm tripple guns and 3X4 or 3x5 torpedo tubes per side with ,,secondary,, range of ~ 15 km gz or yubary with module dispersion type on them and 10-12 km consealment THAT would be THE MEME BOI

This video makes me realize, others RU-vidrs are very very good players, but Flamu ... He is just from another planet !!! Playing this crap only with secondaries is just mission impossible. His positionning is just perfect !
So it's just like GK, you turn the ship around and then just blast away with your secondaries, then sneak in some main gun barrages to finish people off. Pretty solid. Thanks WG, very cool.

Hey Flamu just letting you know that I really appreciate the extra effort you’ve been making this past month or 2 to pump out videos as my Timezone doesn’t allow me to watch your streams.
I had a match with Yuro Musashi last week. It took five of us to take him down at the cost of three teammates. I was a Kidd, so all I could do was spam 5" HE and almost get dev striked after he wiped out an entire flank. We eventually won, and I took home 3 cap assists and a solo cap
This ship is like old CVs: Heavily overpowered, however only in the hands of a skilled player like Flamu. Therefore worth keeping in the game because if your team completely gets destroyed by it that's happening less than every 20 games and will be worth watching, even if you're on the receiving end of the beating.
