Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 I was not a fan of these two vehicles ; but now being a senior I have come to appreciate them ! These two need vehicles need love ! Oh how is the new truck working out for you ? So what is the plan for the two rescues ? Good luck you got your work cut ! 👍👍👍👍
Glad you're back. That's going to be a fun little car for Vivian. Hope the little one feels better. Can't wait to see what's next. Keep up the great content.
"Keep it family friendly, family friendly!" 😂😂😂 That made me chuckle! Don't apologize for putting your family first! Family is first and foremost! Looks like the Iceman is doing a lot better, glad to see that. I also chuckle at you saying to Vivian, "Squirrel, well, with her it's Cats!"😂 Love the content, keep up the good work!
Unfortunately, you can’t please everyone you’re quite right and what you said family is always the first and work always comes second and families always come first well I’m pleased you enjoyed the wedding. Just keep doing what you’re doing. I can’t wait to see Sally up and running
350 will bolt up but you will need a Chevy ll oil pan, pump and pickup tube. They are front sump instead of normal Chevy rear sump. Also the ones I have done in the past you had to have Chevy ll specific headers.
I'm a tow truck operator for 35 years you can hook up a pulley in the back of the trailer then run you winch cable through it and hook it to the front of the car and use the winch to pull the cars off the trailer
Finally got to.sit down and watch this one Garth. I've got some info for You. First, that is NOT an Iron Duke, that's commonly refered to as the Chevy II engine, because to the best of My knowledge, that's all that little 153“ 4 cylinder was ever put in. And yes, it does share the common Chevy SBC / BBC / I-6 bellhousing pattern, I'd strongly reccomend against just swapping in a V8 to it, as it's a REALLY weak unit. A 350/ th350 is / was a super common swap, and reproduction V8 mounts should still be available. It requires a special oil pan to clear the rear steer setup, and special ram horn manifolds as well, though aftermarket headers and such may be much easier and cheaper to source.
Family always comes first and anyone who says anything different doesn't have a good relationship with their family. Truly sounds like a amazing few weeks off! And a great time to be there for them. Keep up the good work you do and we enjoy the time and work you put in. Congratulations on the wedding and hope the little one feels better soon! Just keep doing what you enjoy and being the best Dad you can because that's what a feller is remembered the most for in the long run. Not something that a person should pass up because as you know they grow up way too fast as it is. And just know you are doing a great job every day without wavering and they need that just as much as you do. Being a parent is hard enough but enjoy these days before you know it they'll be moving forward in there own lives. And then you will know how well you have done raising them up right. And last but not least this is going to be a fun car especially with a 350 under the hood. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Welcome back and you're right family does come first. Not being a Content creator. Glad you are back and yes, you need to go and take care of the little one. I know the feeling my daughter has been dealing with it all last week and still this weekend with a sick child.😢😊
Glad your back. You get things done in your time. It’s hard to always put out content when you have other responsibilities. We will wait. (we don’t have mush choice other than go somewhere else like you said) lol. I’ll choose to wait. Thanks for the great content. I will say though, I didn’t realize the Chevy ll came with a 4 cyl. Thought they all came with 6 cyl. . Every iron duke I’ve seen had a low end knock. Until next time take care.
Great video, gang! That poor trailer was definitely causing grief, though. The wood deck on it made me cringe. LOL. Does make me ponder for looking for a flat deck car hauler trailer, since I'd be carrying bigger rides like pickups all the way up to a crew cab long bed. I've pondered buying ups a few used flatbed roll-off used tow trucks, too. Seen them lately on Facebook Market Place up for sale. Still, you all did a great rescue video!
Mr. B. Here’s ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. Sir ! I would drop a 350 cid aftermarket support is very strong ; the 350 would make a hell of a sleeper ; and time you would save on your labor , this way the safety list can be tackled ! 👍🧟♂️👍🧟♂️👍🧟♂️
welcome back and congrats to your baby girl on her wedding. I dont go on fb much but i seen pics she looked beautiful and you clean up nice lol also love that vivian is calling the nova sally nightmare before christmas is one of my favs also have a jack tat on my arm love the channel you guys rock \m/ \m/
If you can get one to fit, I hear a PCV valve is a worthwhile upgrade in terms of burning blowby fuel for the energy and to keep the oil cleaner, longer, in addition to emissions.
If you hook a snatch block on the back of the trailer. U can run the winch cable through it. Back up and hook to the front of the car. Then you could pull the car back off with the winch
Before pulling the head off, I would try vinegar in the plug holes to try to dissolve rust, let sit overnight, then pry the ring gear back and forth at least 50 times in each direction. If a stick shift, you might also be able to put it in high gear, jack up a wheel and pry that back and forth.
All I want to recommend is that if you scrap the engine, that you take it to a scrap yard that allows salvage, rather than one that melts everything, so that others can buy it cheap. Because I value the engine as a somewhat rare example of a post war, pre-energy crisis American 4, offering not only better fuel mileage, but also better traction because it is lighter.
You need to put a snatch block on the cable and hook it to the rear of the trailer and run the cable to the front of the car and use the wrench to pull the car off the trailer.
Hey man nice seeing your videos again I understand how life can get busy and stuff and I am glad your family comes first as it should man can’t wait to see what else you have in store but did you see any 68 maybe a 69 Dodge Charger in that junk yard or maybe even a Chevy step side
2ways that will work. Mite b of help. If u had a eye bolt in back of garage on floor. Pull his cable from truck hook to snatch block run back to car. Hook. It pull off trailer Or if u have to up right beams take strap from one side to other hook a cable or strap to car pull trailer out I’ve done that a few time hope it helps. Not trying to b a smart a%# or tell ya how. Just a suggestion. Like the cars. Keep em going
Add a snatch block aT the back center point on the trailer so he can run the cable back to the front of the vehicle and use the winch to pull the cars off without having to use an anchor point.
I am curious How do you find anything in your garage It is a mystery to me how you fit the cars, the tools and the parts in it and are able to find what it is that you need
I hate to buste anyones bubble, but the iron duke engine was only produced from 1977-1993... What you have there is a 153 cubic inch four cyclinder that chevy tried to make a market for... Famous for how problematic they were... Get rid of it (or use it as a boat anchor) and drop a six (or a 350) cylinder in it... Far less problems, easier to find parts for, and far more pep... Your daughter will thank you for it :)
