Hey Garth. Learning some of your family story has been wonderful. Your littlest one makes me smile just seeing her smile on camera. Enjoy all of your vids!!
How to talk to a mechanic....SPEAKING LOUDLY THE FIRST TIME SO HE MIGHT ACTUALLY HEAR YOU ....is generally a good start, unless he's just ignoring you. Good to see some progress and teaching the youngens about old people things like trash bag ties. Take the entire thing off and do it up metal frame and aluminum sheets? Nice to finally see Shaggy getting put to work! Great to see Iceman! Awesome stuff guys!!
I've been waiting on this bad lad! Thank you for bringing us back!❤ Checkout Sleeperdude's videos on their "Mini Winni" They had the same style rot. They removed the complete rear exterior, 2" tubed the living quarters as you will, redid the floors and walls, insulated it and reused the windows with new seals and the outer skin. The best part was they ordered a rubber membrane for the roof which comes in a big roll. They didn't want to have to go and do tons of repairs on down the road. It is all doable. Can't wait till the future episodes come out on this.
I'm thinking, Billy Ray's mullet, has seen better days!😂😂😂 I've redone a lot of RV's over the years. Ain't none of them the same, and aunt none of them easy, but it's soooo rewarding on that first camping trip after the rebuild! Can't wait to see the future, Billy Ray!
Hello garth. That was classic when you were throwing things out that window we could not see you but I could understand completely when you down in there doing demo you were great in this .look forward to seeing the transformation glad you want to give her a second life looks like it will be fun when you and family start using her for camping.
Hey look! My finger's growing back! Limb and fire checks continue for the foreseeable future. 😆🤨 But the Oscar the Grouch thing *was* hilarious. 😂😂😂 Even the kid came in and cracked up.
If it were ME, I would ditch that entire camper, and look for a same or roughly the same size Box truck box. Simply jist because You'd gain a TON of strength, and build quality for the basic structure. You'd also have the benifit of a "clean slate" for Your inside build, instead of working around a likely sub-optimal RV layout and materials. Either way, great stuff, keep on keepin' on!
I love the color it’s so cool it’s gonna look great when it’s done and the name is awesome! I’m from Hartford Connecticut and the time I’m watching this video is 9:15 pm
U know what mite work ? Cut it off like u were talking bout find a U haul box truck same L. W. Slide up to the cut off part Put together. Build a camper out of that. 🤔. Like the music at the first. Best wishes to ur daughter a son n law. Keep ‘em going 👍
You really only need 1x1 tubing. The 2x2 wood actually would last a good long time. The camper is actually in better shape than I thought. I know you want to save as much as possible and I wish you luck but as someone who has repaired campers in the past you have a long road. It will be neat when you’re done.
Im only half way through the video but I'd be propping that roof up with some 2x4's. I've rebuilt a few rv's in my time and 2x4's and 4x4's have kept me from getting bonked on the head.
I rebuilt my dads camper back in the 90's don't try and save the aluminum skin it will never fit back when you rebuild it if you make any changes in the design. That stuff end up with tiny pin holes in it when the camper leaks for a long time.
iovin the beginning music and yeah im sure mr lars wouldnt mind if you play his music lol i remember those ties im sure my parents still have them in there one of many junk draws lol
You might know? My daughter has recently bought a galaxy, and the holley carbon has some wierd little flip valve on the float chamber, should it be bear metal or have some sort of fitting to seal the hole?
Well. She's called Alex's assets on the tube. Her latest film was of her buying the car. M8ght wanna take a peek. Ya might enjoy it. 👍 cool show again by the way.
Oh. And thanks for replying, I know we are on opposite sides of the Atlantic, it's just really great to talk to people from the States like ya self and sleeper dude. Great work garth. Keep it going man.👍
