Just a side note here. Some of the hats I mentioned ARE worn occasionally by some teams. I meant I want them more in the full time rotation. Also. Yes, I know the City Connect hats are blocked. Accident on my part. Luckily we all know what they look like though, right? 🥳
They need to go back to the Indians because of its history. They became the Indians in their early years because they had 3 star players who were native American......they called themselves the Indians in honor of those players. If not that go back to the spiders OR name themselves after a tribe from the Cleveland area. Honor native Americans don't erase them!
I'd be OK with a compromise (which should've happened in '94) where they kept the Indians name but replaced the Bugs Bunny Injun Chief Wahoo with a more respectful Redskins/Blackhawks-type logo.
As much as I love the cartoon logo it needed to go. They should have named the team after a tribe in the Cleveland area and designed a cool logo based on them..... like the Blackhawks have. Classy and honors the Natives that founded the area. If we continue to erase history we are destined to repeat it
I have to say it maybe bring back the name Indians for Cleveland cause jesus the team name is wack as fuck. It's also kind of funny when the Indianapolis Indians are still called the Indians. I think everyone knew what hat really would like to come back for Cleveland, and it was shown.

I had that Phillies hat that you mentioned when I was a kid. I always thought it was a cool looking hat, although the maroons will always be the best in my opinion.
1993 was the only season the Tigers wore the orange Bill/ orange D hat on the road...Then in 1994 Caged Tiger (as that logo was called) hat became the road hat until 1997...Those are so BADASS they should have never stopped using them
The Cardinals do still wear the navy and red with the bird on the bat. They wear those hats on Sunday home games. In 2022 they even started wearing matching helmets.
AS far as the White Sox go, I would like to see them bring back the Red and White uniforms with the Red hat. The Orioles need to wear their Orange Spring Training hats from this year.
Ya Boy is right. That Atlanta hat with the tomahawk is fire. It’s classic Atlanta Braves look. Seems like that was their batting practice hat at one point. Not sure. I love that Kelly green A’s hate too with the gold bill. For my Cubbies I have said for the longest to bring back the red bill Road hat. That was a great one.
Pillbox PITT hat- 100%, but make sure it is a uniform crown, sane height front AND back. ....The old alternate ones from a few years ago had a slightly sloped front that destroys the design
Robbie ... As a Red Sox fan I'm quite surprised that you did not mention the 1970's Sox road hat with the red crown, navy blue visor/brim and a navy blue button on the very top ... This road hat always looked fantastic with their grey road uniforms ... I also think it also would look great with their dark blue road shirts with road grey pants ... Red Sox Nation would love adding this "two tone" great look to go alongside their long time traditionally classic solid navy blue home one ... From a marketing standpoint bringing back this hat would definitely help increase their memorabilia sales ...

As a Pirates fan I’d bring back their away hat from the late 90’s/early 2000’s with the gray crown, black bill, and the black P with the gold outline. Would look great with their gray away uniforms
There is this hat that has the angels logo but the logo is all gold and the hat is white I think, I don't remember exactly what it looks like and havent found it on the internet yet but the hat is absolutely beautiful
What I would personally love to see is The A's completely change colors back to the blue and white from back in the Kansas City and Philadelphia A's era. The As NEED to completely change the mojo......new city, new stadium......same uniform and logo style but white and blue instead.....wash away all the nastiness surrounding the franchise over the last decade
For the Yankees they could have a road hat that is gray with a navy bill and a navy interlocking NY on the front. For the home uniforms I have no idea, but I wouldn't mind them finally having an alt uniform that they sparingly wear at home.
I really like the Old Padres hat and the 70’s Rays. The White Reds hat was awesome. I liked just about all of the ones you suggested except for the KC. Only cause I don’t care for gold.
Can't believe you didn't pick the original Angels hat with the halo completely around the top. Maybe the best hat ever for any team (I was too young to have seen them contemporaneously, but liked them in photos). As a lifelong Indians/Guardians fan, I favor the crooked "C" of the mid-1970s.
Noas king for these 2 is a crime. 1. The Mariners capxwith just the baseball and the compass with the silver visorfrom the Griffey era. 2. The Mets black with the blue visor is one of the nicest caps I’ve ever seen. And I’m a Yankee fan
Im 25 yrs old and have that Florida Marlins hat. Don't know what year it is, and I've had it since i was like 13, probably younger. There are some hats I'm particularly fond of, and that is one of them.
I love all of the Orioles' uniforms, hat included. One BIG pet peeve of mine is the apostrophe used in the Os logo. Its NOT a possessive, it's a plural. Os means more than one Oriole (a team). O's means belonging to the Orioles. Its just me I guess.
Those TB (Tampa Bay) uniforms are gonna be changing to NSH (Nashville) uniforms by the end of the decade......that's MY personal prediction, Nashville Stars baby!! Lol
I wish the mets would bring back their all white ones that they had in the 90s for sunday home games. It was only for a year or 2 if I remember correctly. I had that hat back on the day, wish I could find it.
I believe the Nationals could not use the "DC" on the hats because it was looked a lot like the DC clothing line. I agree those DC hats were the best they have had.
@@rhyde I think Arizona just needs to just go back to the purple and teal it's such a classic look the Marlins as well their jerseys are so basic the best looking jerseys they wore all last year were the throwback 90s jersey and the city connect
The Braves with the tomahawk aren’t coming back because that’s when people were complaining about it being “racist” towards Native Americans they’re also not bringing back the screaming Indian one they used to have, and I believe the feather one is also not coming back my son wants the tomahawk braves hat because his name starts with the letter A and I can’t find anything
