The Devil Rays logos were always cool, and a little different. They weren't well liked for a long time but they have seen a resurgence in recent years. The current Rays I feel is largely underappreciated and not well understood by those outside of the region. It to me an underrated logo that blends a classic baseball look with a modern twist, but I also know the Rays are a newer franchise and are just now starting to become a generational team. Really, I feel you can't go wrong with any of the Rays logos, they all look great, and represent the team well.
I love that the bear looks rather confused about what's going on. Like it was just handed the bat and is now wondering "Uhhhhh, what do I do with this?".
I agree with the Current Red Sox logo. I’m a Sox fan as well but I prefer going to a Yard Goats game though it’s cheaper and not overpriced like Boston now.
As a 90s kid I always thought the Disney Era Angels logo was just a little too corny. To me it’s the equivalent of the 90s Houston Rockets cartoon rocket logo as far as bad 90s uniforms
I’m a Braves fan and I think they are completely fine as they are. If there were any sort of changes I could even think of, maybe they could bring that Indian back in a modernized fashion as a secondary logo or make the A in red with a light blue outline as a nod to the Hank Aaron era Braves but keep the primary as it is. Otherwise, they are great as they are
Solid video, sir! I can't complain about the Red Sox primary. While I do appreciate the update to the roundel when FSG bought the team, making it the secondary was the right choice. A couple of quick hits: The Marlins need to trash their entire look, go back to '93, but leave the pinstripes out. Agreed fully on the Rockies needing to just go to the mountain. The Astros should never have switched from the brick. The Brewers should just have the ball-in-glove. Lastly, the Rays need a full logo redesign. Keep the uniform style/colors, but with a new logo.
I feel like I'm the only one who strongly prefers the 00s Brewers logos. Especially the M with the grain. It looked sophisticated, and I liked it. The glove always came off as cheesy
Out of curiosity, what website where you on as you look through the team logos? Would like to visit it myself and check it out. Awesome video by the way!
The colors of the old Diamondbacks logo is actually turquoise and copper. But if you wanna know my opinion on it, I think it’s great but each of the colors are too loud. I do prefer the red, black, and tan look as it’s a more smooth color palette (and as bonus it fits in with the other AZ sports team kinda similar to Pittsburgh and it’s color scheme). The new teal isn’t quite as good, but it is growing on me
I think as an Astros fan at the time in 2013 the team was bad so a new look with new colors and uniforms was very exciting… but I want my brick red uni’s back. Those pinstripes just did somethin to me 😮💨
Most of the Seattle Mariners fans do not approve of the Trident logo. Because, according to the Greeks, pointing the Trident down is considered "bad luck," and many fans believe that the franchise is cursed because of it.
Been a Mariners fan all my life and I’ve never heard that before. Every M’s fan I know loves the old trident just as much as the compass. As for a curse, the only curse we had was a bad streak of bad GMs.
Cleveland, completely agree. Drop the "G"s. But I say go further. Get rid of the baseball. The current logo is bad. It reminds me of a Minor league team logo.
Not a baseball question but sports in general. Do you know why all Pittsburgh sports teams have black and yellow as their colors? I used to know the history.
