Mine's actually Elizabeth Arden! Citrusy and green and woody. I think. I struggle with scent descriptions. 😅 Bergamot and bamboo and green tea and... I forget what else. But if what you've been saying in your videos is true, I think you might indeed like it if you can still get your hands on it!

Seconded - anything done specifically to force a trigger doesn't trigger my asmr, ironically enough 🤣 forced taps, voice repetition, exaggerated mouth sounds etc drive me mad. I'm so glad to have found this channel and a few select others.

Just in case you're interested, the 1939 movie "The Women" partly takes place in a salon and spa that was directly inspired by Miss Arden's 5th Avenue beauty destination.

Yes, I did!! Very interesting stuff. I also found a facsimile of a vintage brochure listing their various treatments. I printed one of those out and used it in the first EA video (at the front desk). Once I found the description of the two treatments for this video, I certainly made up the so-called ingredients that I mixed together. 😂😂 But it is true that their “skin lotion” was a liquid and it was meant to be mixed with other moisturizers for moisturizing or mixed with an astringent for cleansing. Interesting, yes?

Hmmm. Well, the problem is that I’ve been faceless for over three years, which means most everyone has already constructed a face in their minds in the absence of one in the videos (sort of like how we inevitably try to imagine how a character looks in a novel we’re reading). When movies are made based on novels, any casting decision almost never aligns with the face readers have already constructed in their minds. Make sense?
