Hi Bruv, Can i use tha Bardcore for my channel? My channel is about historical fencing and a non profit organization from Germany. Thanks for your response
@@NomanJohan It is sorta,it's called Eurofolk. Neofolk basically means the same thing as Eurofolk with some slight differences,it has further right leaning political connotations (Eurofolk usually implies conservative too though) and also tends to use a bit more "Modern/Experimental" Instrumentation but if you're looking for something like this but "more authentic" that might be the way to go.
i can imagine a game that sets in medieval but with today's culture, gang wars with magics, drugs, huge bank heists, horsecart theft, getting chased by the guards with their dragons as their helicopters.
Ye all act as if ye had not seen a white peasant whenceforth Maws dashed a floor like romeo and juliet wrapping at thy door Bearing a tale of tragedy worse than before They first implored, the apothecary clerk ...I'm slim shady, yea the goodly shady All ye other slim shadys are just knaves assaying...
@@dillanio9191 Tis the return of the "ah, no wait, surely ye jest!" Dost he not conflate the devil's behest? The head of church said, nothing you faineant The head of church is dead, aloft in a plague bed
@@dillanio9191 Yeah what crazy is could _probably_ do the whole thing. Crazier I could probably perform it fairly well and upload it. I don't think too many other people could so maybe I should... It's long and I'd have to work on small chunks at a time like this. The flow would be like, listening to it I'd just do almost like a spoken word town crier kind of flow, not like necessarily an eminem flow, I mean it'd still be on beat. It would be the best way to do it probably.
Lose thyself in the melodies, the minutes, you posses this, you best never release your grip, thou only has a single chance, Miss not your opportunity for combustion, this chance only comes once in a blue moon, Hey!
Thank you so much for not adding ads to these videos. I've been using them in the background of our DnD campaign when we enter establishments with music and nothing is funnier than someone stopping in the middle of quest dialog and saying "Hold the F*** up, is this 50 Cent playing in the tavern?"
Currently sending all Bardcore tunes to my brother so he can start doing this in their DnD campaigns too. Thy beats be boppin. Show thy ankles fellow harlots.
....I am at a loss for why "Slim Shady" translates so well into a medieval version - actually, all the Eminem songs do... verily, the man is a troubadour at heart.
IMO a lot of music still sounds fine if you play it in your head with medieval instruments (you'll probz be chuckling though lol). I haven't done this myself but if you take the MIDI files of a bunch of IRL tracks, then hook them up to medieval instrument VST's, with some tweaking it would just sound like it "was" a medieval track (which is likely how these tracks are made). I'm guessing its just because the same scales were used back then as now, so todays melodies can often be perfectly interchangeable.

You just made me think of anything gangsta today but back to that age. I mean yes, they had their version of gangstas and all but ... Imagine a drive by? Just that thought. Horses, swords and arrows...imagine if some things today could be put into context...Let your imagination lose
it's September 2020 and this is probably the best thing I discovered in the internet for the whole year. And I spend my time mostly in the internet, but you sir, your content stands out and that is wonderful :)
The Lords of Hip Hop: Apothecary Dre Frigidus (Coolio) Lord M of house M (Eminem = M&M = Marshall Mathers) BlackAlley (a play on Back-Alley just as Blackstreet with backstreet) Destined Youth 50 Pence Inquisitor Hound (Snoop Dog)
I will be using this as background music for my next D&D session. I wonder if anyone in the party will notice... Update: They did. Almost instantly. It got the night started off right
This actually makes me think more highly of the original version of these songs. I think this medieval style better reveals the creativity and integrity of the original compositions.
Blood of three foes on his mail already, he's nervous, but the surface of his shield is ready, to soak blows, but he keeps on extending, he thirsts for glory, but this business is too damn gorey.
Tis true, for I fear I can but only read these comments in a Medieval British accent. Good sir, I believe we suffer the same ailment, may we away to see the pastor at thy church to be cleared the sins we hath spawned.
If you were to travel back in time and play this at the King's court, it would be so hard for them to comprehend it that they would probably call it sorcery and send you to burn at the pyre.
Good Sir, hath thou considered putting thine music on Spotify? I would truly savor thine godsent music. Also, hath there any way we could support thou and thine music ventures?
@@BeedleTheBardcore I shall party like it's 1499 mein dearest bard! Your music hath made me as happy as the time I survived an awful case of bubonic plauge!
Google scares me. I was rapping to some instruementals with my brother but with medieval wording. "Usurp a nigga throne and defloreth thy princess" and the like. Then a few days later I got these beats in my recommended. Scary.
It occurred to me as I was listening to No Diggity that our lyrics would sound as bizarre and incomprehensible to them as their Shakespearean Olde English does to us. Worse, in fact, because we have the benefit of historical context to understand what they're saying, but they would know next to nothing about us.
When the scourge of covide has left our lands I for one will invite my fellow noblemen to my estate and make merriment as though it is 1295 to this fyne musicke
As a Serbian I felt as if Otoman Empire soldiers came to my neighbourhood while listening to The Real Slim Shady . Its like "you know the danger is coming, but the soundtrack is hella dope" Bless you man 💜😁

You know, instruments have been around for such a long time. Its not impossible that a bard sometime, somewhere accidentaly strung the beat to one of these songs
Just a small correction.. the melody of Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise was sampled completely from Stevie Wonder's song Past time Paradise. The main difference was he added rapping over it. Considering its an instrumental version, it would be more accurate to say its Past time Paradise rather than Gangsta's Paradise. Just giving credit where credits due Thanks!
Honestly, I always thought of the Vikings as more Rock and Roll people. I mean their afterlife for heroes was an epic battle for all time, until the end of the world, which is the mother of all battles. That just screams Heavy Metal, and other intense genres. When I hear these songs, I think more of the English and French peasants, the thieves, bandits, and highwaymen, and all other lower class people who had to fight, literally or figuratively, every day to survive. These songs are either about suffering and overcoming it, or just flexing.

As I walketh through the valley of the shadow of death, I take a look upon my life and realize tis sudden death, For I hath been pillaging and revolting so long that even mine mother believes that mine mind tis gone. I hath created a monster, for no men wish to see sir Marshall anymore, thou wishes for sir shady, I am chopped liver, well, if sir shady be what thou wishes tis what I shall give thee, a wee bit of me indulged in some rum, some rum that shall reanimate me faster than on a sunday morn at the church whence I cease donating, whence I upset the sermon whilst the pastor tis lord rebating. For I am sir shady, yes I am the real sir shady, all thou other sir shadys tis impersonating, so shall the real sir shady please standeth up For I am whatever I say I am, if I t'wasnt then why would'st I say that I am, in thy paper, thy news, every day I am. His palms tis sweaty, his knees tis weak, his arms tis heavy, tis vomit upon his armour already, mothers spaghetti, he tis nervous, however on thy surface tis calm and ready. Come along shawty, tis thy birthday, we shall party for tis thy birthday, we shall sip beere for tis thy birthday, and shant a soul give one fucketh for tis thy birthday, thou can findeth the me in the club, cup full of the rum.
Imagine if we could play these at medieval times, people at first would be like "what the shit ?!" but then slowly would start banging heads like a metal-head, I would really want to know how this would affect the future of music lol
This would hold court Imagine vast empire take overs planned in battle rooms with kings and captains organising troop movements Then the Queen pops her head in like can we have some rhythm and bard for a while?
Yay as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I look upon mine own inequities and realize, mine coffers have nothing left, For I have been crusading and merrymaking so long that, Even mine own mother believes be bereft of senses But, mine hand haft ne’er touched a knave that didn’t deserve it, I sha’nt be slandered, thou be assured I would not allow it Whatch thine own tongue, and take heed of where thine own two feet do walk, Or yee may find yourself, hearth and home neath an early grave
