Hi guys. This master class with voice-over can be viewed at the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qxwHqdbGOcw.html For the convenience of crocheting this little bear, as well as for those who want to support my creation, Master class is available on Etsy (PDF pattern with photographs and detailed instructions): medintsevatoys.etsy.com/listing/1670129623
@@c_yrara8065 If you're still stuck, or want to try again, don't cut the yarn when you finish the 2nd leg, just sc straight into the 1st leg in the stitch after your final slip stitch (it'll be easier if you mark the last stitch when you cut the yarn on the first leg), then continue on around the 2 legs following the pattern, and it connects them :) It can be tricky at first, but it's pretty simple once you figure it out
This is an amazing tutorial. Just slow down the video if you need to. I agree with her....I made it in 1 hr. I would love more tutorials from you like this😊
Hahahah I agree! I had that many problems the first time it was soooo fiddly. And then making sure I had enough stitches for the head. I think I pulled it apart 5 times so it took me roughly 2 days 😂😂😂😂 that’s with all my stress breaks. But they do turn out extremely cute!!
This tutorial is amazing and I feel like I have read quite some negative comments. The title doesn't say this is for beginners and not every tutorial on youtube is for complete beginners so if you think this appears too fast/difficult just save this for later when you have practiced on amigurumis a little. For me who is not a beginner anymore this tutorial is straight to the point and great. Thanks @medintsevatoys
Thank you for your words and such a complete comment. Indeed, sometimes I come across those who want to take a hook for the first time and immediately crochet a first-class toy. But it doesn’t happen like that, you need to practice and then everything will definitely work out Best wishes from Ukraine
@@Pahcooo me too, i end up at 25, and continue to the next row. It turns out ok, but slightly unbalanced. i'm gonna make it one more to check if i made a mistake before. Hope it ends at 30 this time!
Thank you for the tutorial, made one for my great granddaughter and she loved it. I used smaller yarn for her tiny hands so she could hold it, she’s just 4 mo. Old, her little eyes lit up when she saw it. Your instructions are easy to follow also. Thank you again, I plan to make more of these.
I just made my first teddy bear using this pattern and super chunky yarn. It's beautiful and now my daughter wants me to teach her to crochet. It's an easy pattern and super quick. Thank you so much for sharing. My health is really bad and I can't work but I could easily make some income just making bears and help out the family. I'm going to crochet the eyes and embroider the nose. This one is beautiful ❤❤❤❤
I've just found your channel and love your toys. I used Bernat blanket and a 6mm hook, so it came out bigger, about 9inches tall. Thank you for taking the time to film the tutorials.
❤🐻 Super cute bears, I just had to make one. I have only been crocheting a few weeks, your tutorial was easy to follow & the results are amazing. I Love this little bear.
I'm very glad that you liked this bear. By the way, I recently published this tutorial with voice instructions (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qxwHqdbGOcw.html). Crochet with pleasure. Hello from Ukraine
Im crocheting this now, and almost finish the head. Its probably not one hour, but even if it was take 4 hours it worth it! Look so cute. Little hard to understand how to attach the legs, you have to focus on the video. Good luck everyone who crochet that❤️(: Update: finished the body with head, and the head turned out too big, not like her. Maybe its because i used acrylic yarn
Me too!! Found the 1st round of legs really difficult - especially in the middle join - where on earth are the stitches to crochet into??!! Anyway, I just made it work, although I only got to 28 stitches, so I just increased on next round, 1 at middle front and 1 at middle back!! It definitely took me a lot longer than 1 hour, more like 5, but I guess the first one is the hardest!! Good luck everyone, it is so cute!
I ❤ this pattern. I made my first one today. I chose pink I love this yarn from hobby lobby and it turned out so nice. Thank you for the tutorial. I am sure i will be making more. ❤
What a wonderful video tutorial!!! I learned how to crochet last week and was able to make a teddy from these very well written and spoken instructions> Thank you 🎉❤
@@medintsevatoys That's right. I remember you too. I have been praying for you. I can't imagine what feelings you are dealing with right now. But you have a friend in TEXAS!! I love the little bear!! I have never used that soft, fluffy yarn before. But I can imagine what a soft "baby" it would make. I want to try it. Thx for responding.
Thank you very much. Be sure to try it. If this is your first amigurumi toy, it may not work out right away the first time. This happened to me too, but over time it got better and better. For easy crochet, my Etsy shop has patterns in PDF format www.etsy.com/listing/1670129623/little-bear-55-crochet-pattern-pdf
Hey, you write this comment a month ago but i still want to say- You can change the speed of the video on that gear in the left of the video if its too fast for you
I just made this in white too and it was so easy to follow and I love the simplicity of it and less sewing is always a plus !! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work with us on RU-vid ❤️
Thank you for the pattern. Cute bear, but not an hour to make. It took about an hour to make the bodice. Still very cute.Maybe next one will be quicker. Thank you again.
Hi Grace Major, I use safety eyes as well. I am almost finished with my teddy and with safety I like you I understand that we need to know where to put the eyes before the head is closed. I put mine between row 21 and 22 and I left 4 SC in between the eyes.I also I also like to hot glue the back post of the eye for added staying power. Hope that helps.
How many rows down from head are the eyes placed please. I'm using safety eyes and need to insert before head is finished. Thank you for the tutorial. He is so precious.❤
I’ve used this pattern about 6x now but I get 33sc on the 5 rounds on the head. No idea how I end up with an incorrect amount of stitches but I somehow make it work♥️
I want to help you, but I can’t understand which 5 rows on the head you are talking about. Check the row number or write the time in the video. I also want to say that I recently published this master class with voiceover. It might be easier to understand this way ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qxwHqdbGOcw.html
Thank you for sharing this. I don't quite understand R28: Dec until end of row. Does it mean to repeat the pattern of 1 sc, 1 dec 6 times to close it up?
My first bear is 9 inches tall. I used a super bulky 6 yarn with a 6 mm hook. It would have been bigger with an 8mm but the stuffing was showing through.
I am on my third one of these. I am using a super bulky 6 yarn with a recommended hook size of 8mm but the stuffing would have shown through so I dropped to a 6mm hook. My problem is that leg 2 is bigger than leg 1. Okay. I tried again with a 4mm hook. Leg 2 is again bigger than leg 1. Third try 3.5mm hook. 2nd leg bigger than 1st leg. So now I have 3 bears with leg issues. But yours are super cute.
The video is really nice the thing that bothered me is that she didnt say where on what row to attach the ears, muzzle, arms. But other than the really nice
I would love to try this but as a beginner this tutorial is very hard for me to follow. 😭 I would’ve preferred verbal instruction instead of the cute music.
Very adorable but she goes so fast you can't follow & she covers up what she's doing with her thumb in the beginning so I got lost. Don't think I'll be trying this one! But they are adorable!!❤
I'm glad you liked my teddy bear. Thank you This video is not a tutorial on how to crochet. This video shows and tells how to make a bear, taking into account the fact that you already know what single crochet, decrease and increase are. In the description below the video there are links to my lessons on how to crochet. Also on RU-vid you can press pause and reduce the speed of video playback (gear icon). Very soon, perhaps within a week, this bear tutorial will be released with voice over.
Hi, I have a stitching channel and made my 1st ever amigurumi using this video! Thanks! Would you mind if I put up a short video showing my finished Teddy bear and giving you full credit and putting the link to this video? I didn't want to do it without checking with you first, thanks 😀
Hello, I am very glad that my video was useful for you. You should definitely show your work, and for the mention of me I will be grateful. And be sure to write what country you are from. I'm from Ukraine
Thanks for the comment. You can pause or even lower the video playback speed in the settings (0.25, 0.5 and 0.75 of normal speed) P.S. This video is not educational. In the video, I show a video tutorial and a crochet pattern for a toy
