I wash my Guardian bee jacket once a year whether it needs it or not. LOL I have to say it is a little funky at this point in the season. Wow, cool idea on those styrofoam mating Nucs. Cool timelapse. . . Late night with lots of queens, crazy! Cool video thanks!
My Son, Jed, 30 saw you over my shoulder and wanted to know what you were doing. I took a break from watching, and we have a whole conversation about why you're putting Queens in these boxes, and why there are times bees don't have a Queen. Also told him how you may come to have so many Queens. Between yourself, and Mr Ed, I realise I now have quite a bit of knowledge about bees I will never be able to keep, but sure is fascinating being able to pick up so much just from watching you chaps. I have a friend who’s wife is starting to keep bees, I , who have no hands on knowledge, was able to find her Queen in a rescued hive!! She was going to put a new Queen in the hive, but I spotted the Queen! Thanks for your and Mr Ed’s videos!!! It was so much fun to finally get to interact with bees!
We made several of the mating nucs this year with the same styrofoam medical boxes. Only issue we found they hold water quite a bit. I even drilled the entrances upward to prevent water hydrologicing and close to the floor. We had to go back and slap holes in the bottom to keep them drained. Lord willing, y'all don't have any problems and have good success with them!
Yesterday I made biscuits, added lots of whipped butter and delicious Costal Grove honey! It was so good with crispy bacon on the side and eggs over medium. Thank you Randy & Elizabeth. 🌷🦋🐝

Still no bees because I have too many other responsibilities right now but next year I promise to plant more flowers for the local bees. 🐝 My yard and flowerbeds are chemical free. Bees have been my life sinse the age of around 8 years old and never get bored working with them. Just one quick question. who is winning with the swarm competition? I am only on 19 and think thats about it for me this year. no more room left haha Our hives aare smelling of privet blossom right now as it was nice to see the blossome your side of teh pond as well thousands of miles away the same.
I had real bad arthritis in my hands and the Doc. gave me celibrex which I took for about 2 months and it got better. After taking it for about six months I don't need it anymore. Used to I couldn't hardly bend my fingers and now I have not taken any for 3 to 4 years and my hands are great.
What have you found that works to clean your jackets. My main problem is all my jackets the vail where it bends it makes holes an bees sure do find those little holes. Ouch ouch ouch . Thanks Randy.

Hey Randy , no , something happened, not sure what. I ordered a 3x melon bee catcher. Then I went back to order mine 2x same. I got an email, it said sold out XL. That's all I know, so I guess that means I missed out😢. JO JO
Elizabeth just looked and we are all out of those. That is one we weren't reprinting, just selling out of what we had. She's working on some new designs and different colors.
