My Dad and I have always dreamed of building our very own log cabin. When we started, I had no idea how important and profound this build would become to me. After building the cabin from the ground up, we headed inside to bring the interior to life.

He has lost his dad and his mom during this build and his wife has been ill battling cancer. Much has gone into the building of this cabin to create a get-away, safe haven and legacy for his daughter and future generations. He deserves all of our prayers and blessings! 🙏🏻

Your dad taught you so much!!! Everything you build will still be there when your daughter is a grandmother - should that be the path she takes. It's wonderful that you have all the footage of your Dad - I suspect there will be many times in which it brings you comfort - and pain but that's part of life. He'd be so proud of the job you've done and what you continue to build. Thank you for this - it was wonderful to see it come together so quickly, in spite of having watched for years now. Thank you for all the hard work you do to bring us these wonderful videos. May you be at peace.

The Oscar ‘s will soon be awarding statues to movies that will never make me feel as much as this 2 hour tribute to your father has. The ending, with the empty chairs and your father’s weathered flannel, to slowly be filled first by you and a moment of solemnity, then by not only your daughter, but then also by your wife and a happy family moment gave me an overwhelming feeling of peace and continuity. Even though I had seen every episode before, I watched it all unfold again with emotions that might not have been there before. Bless you…

Started watching this during 2020, and it was an escape for me to see what y'all did. The past few years have been hard for a lot of people. Y'all stripping those logs, and driving tractors around in the woods. Pulling down trees. Stacking em up to cure. Even the solo camp sled house you built, watched all of those too. I stumbled upon this today when I haven't watched since the dormers went in. WOW!

This story reminds me of my Dad & I, who I lost in 1986. We worked on some major home projects. He is always with me, as your parents are with you. Thank you for sharing this video. It is inspiring in many ways. I'm now 71, and appreciate the value of life much better than when my Dad was with me. ' Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. ' Proverbs 3:5-6 P.S. I like the cross in the cabin.

My Dad passed just over a year ago and I think of him every day. I cherish the builds we did together over the years. I am sure you think of your Dad every day as well, and you have this log cabin that you built together to cherish. Thank you again for sharing your life building the the log cabin with your Dad. We will miss seeing you build together, and will remember how you worked together to create this masterpiece. God Bless and Be Well!

I just run across your channel. This is absolutely beautiful. You and you father did an awesome job on this home. I’m so very sorry you lost your mom and dad since building this place. I hope your wife is winning her battle with cancer. My heart goes out to you and your wife. May God Bless all of you. 🙏🌹 that place is absolutely beautiful and anyone would be very proud to have a wonderful home like that. I know your family is very proud of the job you’ve done finishing up the home. The snow is beautiful there and the sound of the rain is perfect. Thank you for sharing. I’m so glad I found this cite. I enjoyed watching it all. May you and your family have a very blessed life. You sure earned it. 🙋🏻‍♀️🙏🌹 I have to admit, I cried at the end. I could feel the love in your wonderful family. God will bless you and watch over you and your family.

This cabin build is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen. My heartfelt condolences on the loss of this great man you called Dad. I am happy for you to have recorded so much footage of him in your videos. Although the cabin is wonderful, the back door is the crowning touch. Your dad must be smiling down on you from above for the strength you have shown the world with so many sad obstacles in your way. I will make sure I keep your lovely wife in my prayers. God keep you safe.

The smiles between you and your dad, the little moments of togetherness. My own father is nearing the clearing at the end of the path. I can only hope he sees the goodness that he worked so hard to instill in me. Thank you Dad.

All the feels for you brother! Such a loving tribute. Your Dad is up there with his arm around your Mom and they are so proud of you. His father Grandpa Outsider taught him everything that he taught you. Each time you so effortlessly drop that axe in the intro I think of the father's that came before you. I hope your Grandfather is well. I hope Mrs. Outsider is well, and Lil Miss. Your family is in my prayers just like part of my family. I'm watching it on Roku as I write this. Such a loving tribute to Dad Outsider a master Craftsman. Mrs. Outsider you hang in there honey. You don't owe us anything, it ain't our business. But getting well is my prayer 🙏. These men were fearless taking on this task and in my book master craftsmen. Hugs all around, with a heart felt pat on the back to you Outsider. Love to all

What a great tribute to your dad! I love the way you ended the video with two chairs in front of the fire and your dad’s shirt on one of chairs. Then your daughter and wife coming in to join you. I’ve watched you and your dad since the beginning and always said to myself, what a fantastic way to build lasting memories to past down. God bless you and your family.
