Welcome to The Outsider channel! Wilderness living is what I'm all about: log cabins, wild food foraging, tractor logging, portable sawmill, survival shelters, etc. I post videos every other week, so stay tuned!
Was that all copper inside that big rock? Thats kind of amazing if so I guess you could gather all that up and sell it to start the fund for the next grinder
At least it’s bigger than a dog kennel, I don’t know why people build such small houses, particularly that A-frame one, he can barely move around in it. Got to be big enough for 2 people and a dog, by the time there’s a stove, a decent sized bed, kitchen area, sitting area and a small bathroom area the house has to be built with all that in mind
You are absolutely the truth. I've learned a lot watching your channel. I would like to send my respect and condolences. Blessings to your family! Thank you for your channel Sir!
You are a channel our whole family enjoys to watch. We are canning potatoes and watching your cabin build series helps pass the time peeling potatoes together. My son dreams of building a cabin similar to yours. It's been so much fun watching it come together. We have watched some of the videos more than once 😊
I have been watching you from the very first episode, and it's weird that you don't know me, I feel like I know you. You really are my favourite youtuber and your work has inspired me to create so much in my home here in Britain.
Very good. Beautiful play there. I'm considering. Making one for my tiny house. About 300 sq.ft. any suggestions on size. Will be using a variety of oils. Thanks, any suggestions will net helpful
Now this is what I like to see cabin with a bathroom and you build with heart and that’s amazing and you take your time with your family always in mind I can watch you build all day which I do on my off days 🎉😅
I used to be a chimney sweep and a mason in my younger life. What we used to do with some of the fireplaces (and wood burning stoves) is we would put a fresh airline or galvanized 1 inch pipe just through the outside wall about 1 inch off the bottom fire bricks to help stoak the fire. You could keep the same 2 inch exhaust pipe you use now or possibly decease the diameter to promote a faster airflow or draw (after all, the cold winter air is much heavier and would be harder to be drawn up from the floor than the wall) so the air draw is easier for your heat source to get the oxygen it needs to burn. This method may help with your propane burner get the oxygen to the source faster. This is just my own opinion on the matter but I hope this may have given you some other ideas. I'm also interested in the plans you spoke of and willing to pay your asking price. Could you inform me what it is you require?
years ago, we built a door from 2x6's, for a back shed. vertical pieces, and then the diagonal, and a top and bottom 2x6, and it took about 90 minutes to make (two of us). The door is going on 40 years, and looking better then ever.
