Sandbanks unchanged since 1958. The Haven Hotel remains despite owners proposal to demolish and build apartments. Traffic the same. Spring ride. I never rode those trails. Lovely views. Julie, use lower gears on uphills, please. Ah, Swanage, our honeymoon town. Great ride for reminiscing my youth. Thank you Mike and Julie.

Really enjoy your content, especially as you cycle around the Bournemouth and Poole roads that I cycle round. Love doing the Purbecks as well, although that hill out of Studland up pass the golf course is a bit brutal, touching 18%. 🚵🏽♂️😎

Wow what an amazing place super ride great views, never heard of the isle of purbeck. How far is the ferry ride? That mountain bike was lovely love the sound of its tyres on the road. It’s been a great weekend for cycling, we’ve been out again today butI didn’t vlog, wish I had tho ☹️. Will do the route again and take the camera.
Thanks Michelle. 😊👌Was so good to get out with the group, even if we did only ride back with them! The Purbecks are very scenic and the weather has been so kind to us this weekend! The ferry journey is a very short floating across, takes about 6 or 7 minutes so it wasn't long to wait for Mike to join me again! Looking forward to seeing your next ride! 👍😁🚲🚴🏾🚴🏾

@@WheelersAtLarge I must admit, I played that part of the video back a few times. I was trying to see a link somewhere. I thought it might of been a "phone zombie" impression! There's plenty of them in Bournemouth Square! :) You're welcome on the video I uploaded. I think it's good to see other cyclists locally recorded videos to get an idea of a route or different perspective. Every week I will put one of your videos on for my step father. He's an old Bournemouth Boy. As you're riding along he will give me commentary like, "That's where the old Dehaviland factory used to be. They had runways there and everything." ... "Beales is boarded up, but they will be reopening on the ground floor." ... "The people who live on Whitecliff Road, have complained so much about the road under the bridge to Poole Park being closed to traffic, that the road is going to be reopened." ... "Avon Run Road, In the 50s it flooded there and the sea came right over the top!" ... "Buster Merryfield used to live in Verwood and I would sometimes see David Jason riding a bicycle around the village." It's like a history tour at times, but a good one. :)
