Very cosy to watch. ❤❤❤"Hygge" for me is sitting with my knitting project, with a warm cup of coffee, looking out on the trees in the garden, when the wind makes the leafs move. Later to go for a walk in november. Admire all the fantastic colours outside, enjoy that the sun is shining. And dream of a project, that I want to knit inspired by november! Today I planned to knit a sweater in some of theese colours, that we see in the nature in Denmark just now. Sweat little dog with a knitted coat.🥰
@@InaKnits❤well, I have as usual many projects in my plans. Also this november sweater inspired by a book, that I will receive at my birthday in the end of november. Then I have to find some yarn to knit it with. I have some hand-dyed yarn in yellow colours, I want to use. Still I need some more, so I have to dye a little more. It Will take some time, before I get startede. Maybe I start with some yarn, left over yarn and what I allready have. We must see. I love to knit, but also I need to finish a few projects first.😅❤
What a lovely way to embrace this season and the scenery is stunning. I like to get up early before it’s light ,light a candle and Knit with my coffee before the house gets busy.
Oh, Ina, this makes me so happy. I just finished watching Tales from Cuckoo Land's Vlogtober and now I am so happy to watch my other favorite channel take on November. Hygge to me means cozy blankets, candles, a fire glowing in the wood stove, hot cider, making rice pudding, starting baking over 1,000 Christmas cookies and hanging tiny white twinkle lights all around the house. I'm in absolute heaven. The cabin and surroundings are so, so lovely. BTW, your Christian is so handsome.
Oh how lovely! Have been looking forward to your month of hygge. Billy is so cute in his sweater. He seems to like the snow. My pup, Snickett, loves it too. Wishing you a cozy week!
Hej Ina! Thank you for sharing all your hygge moments. I enjoy the darker months with some hygge too, knitting 🧶, candles 🕯️, cookies 🍪, books 📖 and music 🎶 . Have a good time! 🌟
I always look forward to your Hygge episodes. It makes me think of drinking hot coco and sitting outside in the early evening before the temperature drops and I get to enjoy the sunset and the peace that it brings. It also makes me want to bring out my blanket knitting and have the cozy warn yarn on my lap.
I love this! I live in the mountains of northern New Mexico (US), 30 min. from a ski area. I'm 1/2 Norwegian and I'm a knitter too - lots of socks, sweaters and dog sweaters. I love the fall and don't really like the heat of summer. I look forward to Part 2!
I’m so happy to see you doing the Hygge vlogs again, Ina! For me Hygge means cuddling with my cat, drinking hot tea and knitting or crocheting something cozy while wearing a pair of thick hand knit socks! I wish I had a wood stove but I’ll just have to settle for a hot shower to warm me to my bones. Billy looked so cozy. ❄️❄️❄️
Thank you for a lovely video. I connect Hygge with light, cuddling up under a blanket with some knitting or reading, writing journals, slowing down a bit, baking Christmas cookies and Stollen.
I AM SO HAPPY November hygge videos are back! Thank you thank you! I thought I might have to wait until one week of November was passed so I was thrilled to see you have a treat for us on November 1st! The things I love to do to bring about hygge for myself: *going outside and seeing the yellow leaves all over the ground in the cold sunshine - the reflecting light makes everything seem to glow *hot coffee and knitting or crochet *cozy under a blanket while I look out my big picture window and see it raining (I wish we got more snow here) *lighting a yummy smelling candle *watching your videos *petting my kitties who snuggle next to me *snuggling under my duvet at the end of a long day to play phone games *listening to my youtube playlist: songs I have collected because I heard them in hygge type videos (including yours) and they make me feel peaceful and cozy :)
I always love your Hygge videos, Ina. They put me in the right mood for winter. Its been lovely to see some snow and icicles. Looking forward very much to Part 2. x
I love the idea of hygge. I love fires in our wood stove, although our weather here is not often cold enough for fires! One thing I do in November is to make homemade soups for dinner.
This was so lovely and made me resolve to try and enjoy our probably wet and windy November here in Devon. A big tidy up today to welcome the cosy into my house. Thanks xxx
LOVE THIS EPISODE!! So relaxing to watch and love your lil' doggie. We live in the San Francisco area and seeing the cold wintery weather was so cozy to watch while we r knitting in 70°F weather. We don't mind our weather but its nice to feel like we got away to the mountains too. Hope to see more of these Hygge vlogs! So appreciated.
Ina! I enjoyed your vlog SO MUCH! It was exactly what I needed!! Loved seeing your little dog! What a character!! Enjoy all your walks!!! Stay warm and cozy!!❤
Thank you for one month of Hygge, Ina. How blessed you are with the first snow in the mountains. I've some days off this week but now we've a storm and can't go for a walk and enjoy the beautifull autumn colours. Anyway, knitting socks, viewing vlogs or podcasts, cooking with my son, baking an apple pie, litting a candle and enjoying some family time will be ok.
I'm so happy you're doing this hygge vlog series again. Your vlog from 2018 (I think?) was actually my gateway into the world of knitting blogs. Learning about the concept of hygge has made a huge difference to my mental health through the dark, cold winters over the past several years.
What a warm and beautiful video...full of light..kindness and peace! For me November was always a hard month..month of losses and darkness. And this year i did everything to change it. I saved for several months to buy needles and yarn..and now me and my mom are spending free time by knitting. My soul needs therapy and knitting is the best remedy. Ina, thank you for inspiring us and bringing some light and peace to chaotic life..Greetings from your Ukrainian fan! 😊
How wonderful to hear! Well done on creating a warm and cozy November with needles, yarn, lights and hope. All we wish for is peace and a loving, caring world right now. I wish you all the best❤️
Thank you for your hyggevideos! I enjoyed this one very much and am looking forward to the others. The concept of hygge has also helped me feel happier during our long winters here in Minnesota. ❤️
Absolutely ❤ love it!!! Thank you for sharing. Your video is gorgeous. We love walking with our dog as well and our leaves are so pretty this year too! We live in New Mexico. Have a great week!
How nice to see your Hygge Month Vlogs are back! I just love them :) But you seem to be one season ahead: where I live, in France, trees barely have orange leaves, summer wouldn't leave this year...See you soon
Thank you for this lovely video Ina - it's so inspiring to see all the ways we can embrace this month (instead of dreading it). I'm very much looking forward to the rest of the series :)
Thank you for reminding all of us to appreciate the small things in life and to slow down, looking around for beauty and joy that is just waiting patiently for us to notice and appreciate ♥️
What a lovely vlog. I am here for the puppy snuggles and all the warm, cozy feels. 😊 I’m going to try to shift my mindset, too, as it gets colder and darker here in New England. 🍁🍂
I enjoyed the video, very hygge. I love november because it is my birtday month (and that it is today). Hygge for me is knitting, tea, candles, family. Glad you are doing vlogs in november.
Enjoyed this very much Ina. You do Hygge so well! I love this month now too and also like to make my home cosy with candles and comforting food and hot drinks and, of course, knitting. I live by myself now, but have two little snugglemunsters (parson russell terriers) to keep me company. They get very excited to see Billy, and run up to the tv screen. Looking forward to your next video. 🧶🕯️
Oh how interesting! Had a look at your channel, love your vlogs❤️ It’s a shame I don’t understand much French, but enjoyed the feeling and atmosphere a lot.
Love your vlogs. We are into Summer but I love the idea of Hygge and as July is such a drab month here, maybe I will take this idea for making a cozy time in July. It is such a lovely word..the English language doesn't have anything like that. xxc
I am so looking forward to this month of hygge, Ina! Thank you so much for taking us along with you. The cabin is so cozy and cute and the landscape is gorgeous !
My monthly planner has art that celebrates hygge this November. I have been more aware of need for hygge since learning about it, plus it reminds me of my mother ❤
Beautiful podcast. This looks a lot like where I live in the woods on a lake in northern Minnesota, USA. I so much enjoy seeing the land of my ancestors (Norwegian). I bet it is difficult to leave. November for me is a good month though. We do not yet have the bitter cold of the three heavy winter months, we have the holiday, "Thanksgiving", and are well past the uncomfortable heat of the summer. Thank you so much!
Hi Ina, love so much that you have picked up filming so regularly, as I always have enjoyed your episodes as well as vlogs 😍 Can you please point me towards the dog sweaters, patterns or inspiration, as your dog is modeling them so nicely :) Hugs from still very warm Croatia
Warm Croatia sounds tempting to explore right now! 🤩 I haven´t a written pattern to refer to I'm afraid. I used a store bought dog jumper as a template, and knitted Billy a couple of sweaters based on that. I'll definitely include nice patterns if I come across some!
Oh my goodness, thanks for sharing the beautiful scenery. Your little dog is so adorable 🥰. Ollie & Bella is one of my faves as well 😊. What are the beautifully colored birds called that were at the feeders at the cabin?
How wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing hygge with us! I love seeing how people live in other countries... experiencing your environment through your videos helps remind me to slow down and pause to savor my own environment (New England in the US). Billy is adorable, as are his sweaters... and, wow, that's a rather large hare that just hopped up the stairs. Such a stunning place in the mountains.
Hi Ina Lovely to watch your podcast - very relaxing, well actually mesmerising. Love the animals especially the winter hare?? Kindest wishes from the warmer climes of Western Australia, Lynn xxx
I have been waiting for these vlogs soooo much. My mindset about november has changed, when I saw your first Hygge series back then. I don't even remember when it was, but because of you, I have purchased the Hygge book, and started knitting again, slowly putting down my worries, fears while creating new things. Like socks that I am eager to start soon. :D Now, years later I only regret not starting sooner my knitting journey, because I have sooooo many yarns, but how will I use them all?? :D Anyways, I love these cozy videos you make. THANK YOU!!!!
I love to read about your shift in mindset and how you now embrace November🥰 It makes me happy. Knitting helps so much and is a great way of practicing mindfulness and dealing with worries. Lucky you who have lots of yarn to play with! Many hugs❤️
Åh dette var helt herlig! Bedre enn noen vitaminpille.
Cozy socks and woolly sweaters are my hygge for November. Did I spy Patons Kroy “Blue Stripe Ragg” socks on a pair of feet? I only ask because that is the exact yarn I am knitting a pair of socks with as I watch. Happy Hygge November Ina!
Thank you for the question! He seems to cope well with cold, dry weather, but less when if it’s wet and/or lots of snow. So he definitely have his boots ready for when that kind of weather kicks in😊
Thanks!🫶🏻 I used lots of leftovers of double thin silk mohair held together. Several different ones, like Filcolana tilia, Sandnes tynn silk mohair, Drops etc.
I found an English version of the recipe here: scandinaviancookbook.com/aebleskiver-danish-pancake-balls/ I would use a little more sugar, but otherwise the recipe sounds alright to me. Enjoy🤗
