Andrew, this was a great video! I loved seeing these barlows! I have been enjoying picking up a couple barlows lately. Thanks for all you do my friend! Appreciate you!
Love the Barlow shape and simplicity! Very nice collection! I’m a beer drinkianado, wish you would throw in a little color commentary on the brewskis you feature in you beer and Barlow segments.
A most beautiful Barlow collection! Love the colors and designs. 👍 And here I thought you were going to have a Barlow drinking game? Show a Barlow… Take a sip? 👍🤣 Probably be frowned on by RU-vid. But fun! Cheers, RW
I modded 2 of my barlows to deal with the access issue. A Bear &Son, and a Rough Ryder. Drop the kick on the pen till you can reach the main, then a small easy open notch to get the pen. Love the backwoods, the copper on mine at 4 years has developed awesome patina, best copper piece I own. PS the ram horn Marble's is indeed the real deal. They make a sowbelly in that cover too, but call it a medium stockmen.
Thanks for sharing your RR/Marble's/ Queen barlows with us. I've been a fan of RR barlows since I bought my Buckshot Bone barlow several years ago. It was my first ever barlow, but certainly not my last. One thing I've noticed about that series is that it really needs to be experienced in person to be able to fully appreciate it. For some reason, none of the pictures or videos I've seen do it justice. Either that, or the one I have, is an exception. The thing about that is that my Teardrop from that series is just as nice. Your video has me thinking about the white bone and tortoise shell barlows. I keep Jonesing for them, but I am trying hard to resist. Your white bone is gorgeous, and I wouldn't dye it. IMHO, getting white bone like that isn't common. It's just my $.02, but if you want to dye one, they're so cheap you might just buy another one and dye it since the one you have is unique. On the backwoods bushcraft one, that sawcut bone can be like that. I have two of them, and one has something similar to it. Two models I didn't see in your collection are the Stoneworx barlows. While I personally am not into the mini barlows, I do have the other one and can vouch for it. It is of the newer style with the pen blade on the pile side. It also has 440B steel. Thanks again for the video.
There are plenty of good budget barlows to try out and see if you like them. Kind of a smaller boys knife. My 5th pocket carry with a larger one. Or just on the town pocket carry.
Crikey, a Barlow video from Baxter!??! I can't believe it, mate. Good stuff, brother. Thanks. I actually have one of those the RR Desert Fox, one of my all-time favorites. I have probably told you the last tidbit a bunch of times. Sorry if I repeat. Crikey!
Lol?😂😂 You were cracking me up. David, those Rough riders desert Fox are incredible. Some really good Barlows for not much money and I have not even delved into my frost. Thank you for watching brother
Thank you so much brother. I appreciate you . I really do think Queen was made at the rough Rider plants. Maybe Smoky Mountain Knife works. Had better quality control on those. Thank you for watching.
A barlow was in my pocket as a teenager in the 70s. Not sure what brand it was. That and a Case 110 on my belt. Red Fox was my first when I started collecting last year.
