I use the rpd pretty often and I see people using it occasionally I've always loved the rpd so especially on mw2

M60 would be fucking unbelievable if you could put the grip and the red dot on it.the iron sights are horrible.Rpd with grip is really good to.

I think that the recent CoDs have all pushed a rush heavy play style so much that people don't like to change play styles just to use the weapon.

I use the RPD so much. RPD, with Grip, stopping power, deep impact. It all but guarantees a helicopter in domination. Absolutely unstoppable.

Also the Saw with a foregrip has really tight hipfire for some reason so if you stack that with steady aim it's kinda like the the saw from ghosts. It's incredible

The M60 double tap is sooooo good. The skorpion double tap is amazing too. The rpd with stopping power can kill in like 0 shots becuase the enemy gets too scared of it and then he or she kills themselves.

You have to pick between, seight of hand or overkill. If you use seight of hand, you can reload faster but run slow, If you use overkill, use a different primary weapon, then equip the LMG as your secondary, it won't affect your speed, i compared it to a regular LMG class, to a class with a LMG as a secondary

I always loved using light machine guns in any game. Makes me feel special when I get a lot of kills with a weapon that barely nobody uses

The problem i think is that most of the maps are cqb based and long range weapons like lmgs are only effective in certain situations. That is part of the reason why sniping was replaced by quickscoping.

Double tap is lethal with the M60 light machine gun! Double tap is so underrated. If you use it on the right gun like the m60, it shreds people.

the RPD was extremly nice already back in CoD4 , i remember a player in the top 10 or 20 in Kills of all time with a 3.80 K/D playing with an RPD

My most used gun in MWR is my Chrome M14. The 1-tap HS with stopping power is ridiculous, and borderline OP in CQC maps. You'd think the M14 would be poor on Shipment but my god it ruins face if you're not half braindead when it comes to your aim. 1-tapping Ez16 scrubs is the most enjoyable thing to do in MWR for me.

I'm a verry big fan of LMGs in almost every shooter. Much ammo, high damage and a verry cool optic; they are awsom

The only good thing about advanced warfare now that I think about it is the fast-reload, reload a new mag/clip 40% faster but you lose the ammo in the old clip/mag.

Assault rifle movement speed isn't a quirk for the AKS-74U, because it IS an assault rifle. It's doesn't shoot pistol rounds or PDW rounds, it shoots the same 5.45x39mm cartridge as the AK-74 (why this rifle's never been in CoD thus far, I don't know...) and so, it has the movement speed, wall penetration and hip fire spread of an assault rifle, but the faster aim time and weapon swap time of an SMG, as it should due to it's smaller size/weight.

That's kinda the thing - everything is just slower. Movement speed, slower ads, etc. People always liked to run and gun. It wasn't until MW3 where some people really started to adopt LMGs (L86 thermal).

My best K/D weapons in MWR are shotguns and LMG's (I'm over 2 K/D overall). The M16 is in the middle of my AR's K/D's. People really need to reassess their playstyles and how they look at the weapon balance in this game, because it's a LOT more balanced than people give it credit for.

Nero, 3 things: 1. I use LMG's sometimes and they are fun, we should play together sometime. 2. The saw sucks in regular core, but I like it in hardcore. You want to really laugh use Saw with double tap. 3. Off topic but I love completing challenges. Is it just me or is the double tap challenge different and a lot harder in the remake. Remake is "get a kill, reload and get another kill within 3 seconds of reload" in original CoD 4 I thought it was to just get a kill within 3 seconds of reload.

about the flashes, they should make the flash dimmer. its so bright once u think about it.

To me they are incredibly good. Maybe it's because I use LMGs in every cod since they are my favorite class. But in MWR they are insanely good, got regal on them in a day

M60, Acog and double tap is my go to gun on cod. i love it

I haven't had a chance to even play MWR since the big update with the drops added. Maybe I'll give the LMG's a go while playing on Winter Crash for the first time

I use them! Just bought the game, already got Gold Camo for the M60 and the SAW! Working on RPD next. The M60 is my favorite weapon and if you are smart about it, you CAN rush. Got my headshots done EZ with RDS and stopping power with deep penetration. It's a BEASSSST

I use the saw and it's great because it is effective at long range as well as if I get close quarters I can spray without reloading

I have always loved LMG's. I like the feeling that I can spray an enemy without having to worry about reloading

M249 with foregrip, bandolier, double tap and steady aim dominated every close quarters map back in the day.

I usually use the PKM LMG that was added. It seems pretty balanced.

Not sure if it was a one off mistake in this video, but when you earn a helicopter, you should save it for your next life as it'll then help to get your next killstreak. If you use it as soon as you get it, you won't get any more killstreaks.

I use the M60 in a class for shooting down enemy helicopters. Enemy get a helicopter, I suicide to change to that class, kill helicopter and switch back.

I always used the m60 back in the original cod 4 and still use it in one of my classes in the remastered version always thought it was beast. also always used the ak74u

Btw I actually really like the G3 in this game. I rush with it sometimes and it's very powerful with a good trigger finger

You can out gun an LMG with anything. You're just putting yourself at a disadvantage with the slow movement. Best thing about it is that you can spray and pray.

I realized how good they were when I was going for exclusion zone. I never used them in cod4

true. i rarely see anyone using lmgs but I will use one to take out a helicopter but then switch back to something else.

I have been using the M60 almost exclusively for the past 3 weeks working to get it gold. The problem with it that outside of very close range the handling and the recoil make it almost impossible to consistently do well with. The random placement of your bullets means you can't pick people off from Windows or head glitches. Up close you would be better off with an Smg that fires faster. Also do to the severs tick rate or something often your first bullet won't register and do to the slow fire rate it's very obvious when this happens. This issue also causes many deaths, as does flinch.

Double tap a SAW and take down choppers quick! Soooo fun...just pick your reloads carefully

I've been wrecking folks with the RPD (again) since MWR came out.

I still love this game it’s one of my favourite cod games

I run the rpd depending on map and gamemode, i love it.

The LMG's are good in Titanfall 1 and 2. Goes to show that IW still knows it shit even as Respawn.

It's because that era of Call of Duty is kinda over now. It's because everybody runs and guns or uses sniper rifles now. Not saying people used them back then because they did, but the era of people using a wide range of weapons and actually taking time to effectively use classes doesn't exist anymore sadly :(

u must be lucky I get into games that have people using semi automatic assault rifles all the damn time and being a quickscoper/trickshoter it fucking sucks

I use the lmgs all the time, maxed out on them too. great for taking out helicopters

My only problem with the game is the fact that the servers are terrible at keeping teams balanced you either are put on a decent team where you can play decent or you just get entirely smashed

And people say the time to kill in infinite warfare is too fast

good things about an lmg is u can get an ace without reloading and non stop full auto

I've put a lot of hours into this game and I always get the sweatiest enemies who camp and nade spawns constantly meanwhile my team seems to be always a bag of potatoes lol

All the lmg except the gorgon from bo3 was beauty at it's finest. It is lmg done right. Dingo babe, BRM babe, dredge 48 babe. If you use these guns, you are forced to get a kill chain, doesn't matter if you drop your controller on the floor and not play, YOU WILL GET A 10 MAN ON SCREEN. Btw gorgon wasn't a bad gun, it was actually quite good, it's just that i didn't like to use it as much as the others.

put mp5 as primary and m60 as secondary, then you get the movement speed of a mp5 on the m60 if they havent patched it, thats the secret

Then m60 in cod4 original has the most outrageous recoil. You need to tap the trigger and give it time between shots to get them anywhere near the same target

it wasn't till mw3 that I found another lmg that I loved the mk 46

We don't see many Lmgs because there isn't target finder or the flir scope from Ghosts in the game and since people just wanna be scrubs they only use them if those are in the game
