Eh? If he's talking about the city he hasnt captured, it's at best a level 3 spot, and (before he obtained climbing and saw the gold in the mountains) it seems like it has almost no way to level up the city much

@@Pyxyty level 3 sanctuary spot is great (3spt per turn for 5 stars), and the city only needs org or roads to be leveled up, which isn't difficult to get.

@@justeenilingueeni123 again, it isnt great, a lvl 3 spot is usually just ok for an Elyrion terrain, a great soot would be a lvl 5 or 6 across 2 cities or 1 with border growth. A lvl 3 is just ok. And besides the road and organization tech, at the time he said it the village literally did not have anything else to upgrade it with without relying on monuments. Compare that to what his capital or the southern city looked like and you can see what he meant by it being bad. I dont know why you're defending that specific city so much, it's objectively bad relative to the terrain other villages could have. 🤷

@@Pyxyty theres a difference between a lvl 3 spot using the cities own trees, and a level 3 spot using trees from other cities only. this means all 8 other tiles on the city can be used for development. Elyrion has very high rates for farmland so there was more than likely 2+ farm spots on that city if u ever wanted to further develop that city. But I think all the talk about development isn't even that important anyway, as a lvl 3 spot by itself puts the city at 4spt, which is equivalent to a level 3 city, and even on the worst of spawns its basically impossible to not be able to get a city to at least lvl 2, which would make the city 6spt, or a lvl 5 city worth of income. Basically, lvl 3 spot is in my opinion really good, a lvl 5 or 6 spot is pretty much spawn win.

Rush them. Polaris has very bad early economy.

The tech price rises every time you capture a village. It can easily inflate and become expensive if you capture villages too fast at the start without having a good income yet from levelling up your other villages.

Couple of things. 1. In game ELO is not a good indication of a player's skill, it mainly just shows how much they play. 2. Picking a sub-par tribe like Elyrion makes games that should be lopsided more fun and interesting, as shown here. 3. My spawn was not great. Even great player's can lose to decent players if they have a bad spawn and use it poorly

1. ELO is not a perfect indicator of skill, but when the matches played stat(the stat that actually shows how much they play) is high, ELO is a decent indication of skill. 2. If every tribe not named Bardur is also a sub-par tribe then sure. But Bardur aside, Elyrion is right up there with the best. In my opinion anyways, which of course is subjective. 3. I would consider that a very good spawn for Elyrion. First 3 cities had sanctuary spots that would have provided a total of 10 stars per turn if placed properly.
