One of my favorite kinds of hauls! A restaurant supply? 

I just love love pots and pans. All gadgets, and do remind me like a child in a candy store.

Fellowship is the main thing, treasures are secondary!!!! Love anything kitchen, small dishes, old utensils, cast iron ANYTHING. Great stuff!!!!!

Great haul! I love the bar towels because they absorb so much better than regular towels.

I have stainless steel scoops gotten at a nursing home.I use them for animal feed in the barn, and another for potting soil.

A friend has an old galvanized pot hanging by its handle on a shepherd's hook...looks so good in the garden!

I use the little baking sheet in our air fryer oven..holds meat for 2, or roasted veggies

I love restaurant supply places. I have a small tray like that and use it all the time for reheating food. And I also have a large scoop like that that I use. We have a smaller one out here that I love going to. You can get good buys in those places. Fun time! Those are great finds. I normally hate shopping too, but love shopping for kitchen stuff And I have subscribed to your channel.

You did great!! I used to have a restaurant & I’ll tell you right now… that stuff isn’t cheap! I still have gobs of things I bought while running it! Just can’t part with them. If you ever see them get you some bus pans. I use them for everything! For cutting kraut, for holding tomatoes while peeling or making salsa. So many great uses. Also the big soup pots are great. You can process in them & they’re not so hard to handle. Again you did a great job & great prices too!

Cool places. I agree with the sizes for canning. We have a fun store in Pittsburgh called, "Construction Junction" and they have a website to check them out but it doesn't do them justice. I've changed up my pantry containers to larger sizes. I would love to have some of those large jars. Wow, that whisk, lol. I bet you made Brian really happy with all the goodies for him. You look like you've lost weight so you've must have lost a lot?

I recently picked up a new professional grade solid stainless 12-rack food dehydrator (very much comparable to Excalibur's top model) for about $280. At my local restaurant supply store. It's been in near continuous use for the past 3 months. I love it. It merely sips electricity, can do delicate greens, herbs, and even jerky with variable temp control. Up to 24 hour timer. I added silicon liners to the racks for tiny items, a couple of the fruit leather trays (we don't use those much and were gifted those from a friend after her dehydrator died-yes they fit!), and I was off to the races! You picked up some things I routinely get at our local place. I love the scoops. So handy! I get some things like ladles and spiders there too. Sheet trays in various sizes, plastic cutting boards, utilitarian plastic tubs with lids for marinating large cuts of meat or holding huge amounts of veggies. My favorite stainless steel stock pots come from there too!

That's how I am also, I love huge thrift shops, and always find soo many things I can use and I do go to the restaurant supply we have to in Central Florida, we have a few of those supply stores

I have a 20 qt. stainless bowl that I have had for years. Great for making my grandma's huge recipe for bread/12 loaves. Hubby gives it a workout for popcorn. One of my all time favorite purchases.

I managed to get a whole bunch of steel pots, pans, sieves, tongs, LONG handled spoons, etc FREE. A nursing home gave them away. None were used.

I lucked out on getting some of those plastic buckets (8 cup size) at a yard sale this summer for .25 each- was so tickled.

I have that same gigantic colander... it is wonderful and I use it all the time. I'm often asked where I got it..at a restaurant supply center of course!.

I have a restuaunt supply store about 20 min. away I love going shopping there and they have a used room I make sure I hit. I love kitchen stores too. You found some great buys. thanks for sharing

Awesome shopping trip! Thanks for taking us along. I grew up in the restaurant business and I was always mesmerized by the sturdiness of the restaurant dinnerware and cooking utensils. I have many of the things you are showing today and they are invaluable on the homestead. We are still eating on white restaurant dinnerware that I collected over the years when no one else wanted it.

I envy your restaurant supply stores. I've shopped at a local restaurant supply a time or three. They have a small showroom. A lot of the things they carry are only available from their warehouse via catalog. They're not on display. If I remember correctly I've gotten a few sheet pans, a whisk, and a ginormous aluminum rolling pin from them. At one point I used the rolling pin for some low hydration pizza dough that would really have benefited from a mechanical dough sheeter. I'm a Pizza Hut thin 'n crispy fan. I worked for Pizza Hut off and on for about a decade a quarter century or so ago, and never got tired of pizza. I love the Weck like jars you acquired. I bought some Weck jars a while back when I almost got into sourdough. At one point I was having some digestive issues that seemed like they might be related to a gluten intolerance, so I gave up on the sourdough endeavor. Thankfully the digestive issues turned out to be a medication side effect that I've found a work-around for. They're not gluten related. I need to get back to exploring sourdough. I'm able to keep my type two diabetes under control with diet instead of diabetic meds. I usually avoid anything resembling bread, but my system seems to tolerate sourdough fairly well. And I do enjoy many tangy fermented things.

I have 2 about 45 minutes away from the playing renting. I stop by every chance I get. Everything I have pots/pans/utensils are restaurant grade. It's partly from spending 31 years in restaurants.

I could see myself on the power goes out using that to do laundry in that salad spinner

I love restaurant supply stores, but the one in my area doesn't have nearly as many things. I would go nuts in such a large store.

I am just like you. I hate shopping for clothes and all, but, I love shopping kitchen ware. My girls hate it, and keep telling me I need to reduce everything so they don’t have to do it all when I die. Lol

Toys toys everywhere, I’ll have to check them out if we ever go back to the rib cook off. The butane burners work better than the propane camp stoves We have 2 of them. It was fun seeing all the restaurant supplies, it reminds me of when I worked in the dietary dept. at a convalescent hospital. Those slotted measuring spoons saved our butts when inspectors measured the food on the residents plates.

Was that store Superior Supply?? I goto closed down resturaunt auctions. I get the best pot pans and utensils at those, because, the buyers are there for the big stuff, tables, chair, grills, freezers, appliances, etc. I love those auctions. 👍

OMGosh, Vickie...I LOVE kitchen/restaurant supply stores, toooooo!! AND, I'm so fortunate that my husband ALSO loves shopping in them. We can spend hours going through all of the shelves and sometimes, even behind the scenes, in the back rooms. We usually fantasize about outfitting a little restaurant of our own with what we see, but mostly, I see those wonderful, large kitchen appliances, cookware and utensils in my own kitchen. :-) I LOVE your idea of using that giant salad spinner for an off grid clothes washer. That is genius!! HA HA HA HA...you bought one of those huge whisks! I know: you couldn't resist. :-) That was a fantastic find on that burner thingy. Vickie, you can take me to the Kitchen/Restaurant Supply stores any time you go on that adventure. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. Thank you. :-D

We have an old time store where I live that carries everything you’d need to can, cook, and garden. I feel like a kid in a candy store in there, but the store you went to? OMG! I’d be in serious financial trouble in there!! 😳

Are the cooking trays sold at the restaurant supply stores stainless steel or aluminum? Do you have a recommendation for where to order stainless steel trays and baking dishes?

I love kitchen gadgets...and I dont enjoy cooking 🥺. Strange I know. But when I do cook I want it to be easy and convenient. 🙃 I've been single now for about 20+ years so I cook if I want and if I don't feel like it I don't. Im trying to be healthier so I've been cooking more despite not enjoying it. Luckily I like simple foods..not too many tastes or smells mingling together. Spicy is always good though. If I dont.like the taste of something...a little Louisiana Hot Sauce and it taste better 😄. I could live on your jar meals you made for your daughter. They looked delicious and easy.
