Hello Ariel...I grew up near here...I would walk all over the place and have not seen this house in many years..I live in another borough now... Ashley is a great tour guide...you both make a good team.

Wonderful home. My dad grew up in Harlem in the 1940’s and hated to go back to manhattan years later because he felt the city was destroyed with big buildings and the loss of trolley cars and small businesses. He said he wanted to remember it how it use to be.

Thank you, Ariel, for doing this tour. The house needs all the exposure it can get because of it may be destroyed if the developer starts building next door. I worked at the house for 10 years before i moved away. And i do miss it. This house is part of NYC history and it should be SAVED!

Ashley, I feel that your family senses that you are part of their own family. They know more than we think. You being there would bring them a sense of peace as well. They feel you are watching out for them, and their well being beucas as spirits they are tryng to live in the place of familiarity to them when alive here in NYC. They are proud to know that you are trying to save this home/museum.
