To this day, this was the best show on. I wish it was still on. Tom, he was hilarious, Pete and Tom together was great. Pete would LOL from Tom messing around
This brings back memories. Back in the 70s. In Reynoldsburg Ohio we would gather around the Children's Palace toy store parking lot starting about 10pm. There was a 3 mile straight road on Gender Road, then in farm country. There was a marked 1/4mile marked and we would race. One of the big dogs drove this exact car, color and all....except on the panel behind the window going from rear fender to roof, the car had in blue,KING KONG. He pretty much ruled the street and would only be challenged by a 71 hemi cuda or a guy from my town with a 71GTO Judge with a 455 HO who trailered in the car which was a class record holder at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio. fun memories!
The under carriage is actually way nicer then it was when it was born. That is a great example. The exhaust diameter seems so restrictive in stock form.
Yeah it was, same with Corvette which was only 2 inches in 1969. But they knew the stock exhaust wouldn't last long so it was no big deal, almost nobody kept these cars stock back then.
OK, Peter Klute! Where is Greg? This young man is trying, but he said 11.5 to 1 compression, it was 11 to 1, he also said "dog dish wheels, poverty caps" which makes no sense. Also, is this an original drive train or no? It is OK to say what it is, not many of these survived intact, many were raced and blown up...
