The 2001 6.0 is cool, I still have a copy of Road&Track from May of 2000 with an Orange one on the cover. The Best version of the Diablo is definitely the 1999-2000 GT🤘🤘 "YEAH❗️"
Clean, flowing, sexy lines.....this car is a work of art, unlike the current vett's that look like a cluttered , overdone mess looking more like the Apollo lunar module than a Corvette.
The anniversary cars were sold as both 1989's AND 1990's, believe it or not. But maybe you knew that and were referring to this particular car being an 89. I wouldn't know how to spot the difference....
@@johnnyracer173 you would know for sure by the VIN. But cars built/delivered in May of 1989 were still that model year as the 1990s didn’t start deliveries until September
So many people don’t like the 25th Anniversary Countach but it’s always been one of my favorite Lamborghinis. I was 13 years old when the 25th Anniversary car came out and absolutely loved it. As a typical teenage boy growing up in the late eighties and early nineties I had a couple huge posters of different Countachs on my wall along with a few Ferrari and Porsche posters. Dreamt about cars like this all the time.
I use to race my 67 R/T coronet there and my best competitor was Brad in his 69 A12 440-6 Bee. We both ran 13.20 , so that Bee with those tires was very close.
I remember reading about the improvements of the Diablo in real time. The magazines would arrive at the house and I would read about the Diablo over and over. Timeless, gorgeous.
Thanks, good video with a good explanation. I preffer the looks of the Countach without the rear spoiler, that huge wing is an overkill thing for such a nice design!
"I'm not a big fan of the 25th Anniversary, big wing, you know obnoxious looking car with the huge flares.." Bro, I literally just watched nearly 18 minutes of you gushing about the 25th Anniversary Lamborghini on the new video that you guys just posted. LOL
Bro.. I just watched your guys' video on "Driving Jacques Villeneuve's Lamborghini Countach LP400 S" and you said at the very start of the video: "I'm not a big fan of the 25th Anniversary, big wing, you know obnoxious looking car with the huge flares.." and then I see 18 minutes of you gushing about the 25th Anniversary Lamborghini. lol
Sounds like there's a little miss at lower RPM's. I've been in a couple Countach's and at 6'4" its almost undrivable. Its defiantly made for short Italians. Beautiful car though.
Some don't like the 25th Anniversiaro Horatio Pagani styled 25th Anniversiaro, but it's my favourite version🤘🤘. It should have used more Kevlar and had some Titanium, though😁
