Yes they would be a lot worse than they are as electric. Imagine thinking noise had anything to do the quality of the racing.

@@bert1981 Well the problem really isnt thet they're electric, it's just that they.... don't exist.... Think about it. I personally got hooked on Rallycross watching Beetles, Subarus, and Fiestas duke it out on amazingly fast tracks. However, our current World RX lineup has the VW Polo E, which doesn't exist, the Lancia Delta EVO-e, which unfortunately doesn't exist, the Seat.... thing, which doesn't exist, and the awful Volvo hatchback. Thank GOD that one's fake. The only real car is the Peugeot 20Something E. But I'm not done ranting yet. Nitrocross has a good thing going with the FC1, because it's not supposed to be a classy Rallycross car. It's supposed to be an enormous SUV, doing things SUVS shouldn't be allowed to do, and it's awesome. I do wish that they had more of a NASCAR approach, and made it so different manufacturers could slap bodies on it. Imagine a Urbanrebel racing a Model 3, Hummer ev, Charger Banshee, and even the Ford Mach-E. Not to mention the sound these cars make is actually quite cool. So no Mr. Tesla Fanboy. We don't hate WRX because it went electric. We hate WRX because it FAILED at going electric. Have a wonderful day. Ps: Yes. The world Rallycross cars sound like the average squeaky door wrecking it's ability to be taken seriously. It's perfectly okay to admit it.

What you've failed to realize, once again, is that the point of racing from a manufacturing perspective, is to win. If I wanted to watch Fictional cars go head to head, I'd watch eSports Rallycross, which has been more entertaining then a world championship 💀 Does that make me a "fake rallycross fan" because I..... y'know.... watch Rallycross, even in it's it sad state? Or would it instead make you a Tesla Fanboy, refusing to listen to reason, insulting people for being the slightest bit skeptical of EVs, and putting out nothing constructive whatsoever. As for your only valid point, that only applies when it's a designated racing series. If World Rallycross wanted to make a new category called "RX Concept" or whatever, that would be perfect. RX1 has always been based around real cars rubbing and racing, like IMSA but dirty. If THIS is your whole outlook on Rallycross, either prove me wrong but otherwise don't waste my time. Eh, I'd recommend giving Nitrocross and RallyX a shot. They're both doing some interesting stuff.

@@Your-Local-RX-Guy I hope it will be like Tommy Kristoffersson wished, that the fossilfuel supercars can compete against the electric ones in the WRX, i want the sound back. I groove up with the group B, the sound of the Audi S1 is just out of this world.
