I feel like this bag was custom made for me: the color palette! The pockets! And I LOVE the way the lining is closed, using the pocket opening to close the bottom seam. It’s so clean and gives more wiggle room to turn the bag. Thanks for sharing this tutorial Jess!
Another amazing bag pattern! NOW THIS IS A CROSSBODY THAT I CAN ACTUALLY USE everyday and when I travel! Jess, do you have some kind of cutting machine for your pieces? They are so perfectly cut with no wonky edges to be seen. No matter how careful I am with my tools, my pieces are never completely smooth. What is your secret?
Love that you are doing this pattern!!! Kaur Threads has the most amazing patterns! Made this bag recently for a friend and now I want one!! It's the perfect size!!!
Great pattern and I like all the fun fabrics you chose. I am personally not a fan of card slots in handbags because I prefer to keep cards in my wallet and not worry about moving them all individually when I change bags. But, I do like all the other pockets in this bag. A lot of cool techniques in this one.
The orange color scheme was pretty popular with my customers last year! It totally surprised me because I just felt like using some orange! Oh my I love this one!
I love all your videos. You just do an awesome job. Always super thorough and easy to follow. All the extra little tips are so helpful. Thank you for all the extra effort and time you out in. If possible could you put the Road Tripster Tote by KDill Handmade on your list of bags to make in videos? Thanks.
I am SO excited to make this bag! Crossbody bags are my favorite and I love pockets in my bags! Perfection! I’d love to see you make the Yoshi. I think it’s a sling that I would actually use!
How you showed doing the front pocket helped me get my outside pocket on my Lola. Ty so much for your awesome videos. I started making bags after watching your videos the past few years.
Great bag! I just bought the pattern. It's wonderful to see your sewing technique become so precise and professional looking over time. And have leveled up at the same rate. You explain everything perfectly without making the video any longer than necessary. Did I say I'm a huge fan??
Thanks! Love your instructions you give with all your sewing. You are gifted with teaching. I have this bag almost completed sewing with ottertex marine vinyl and natural cork, and waterproof lining.
Thanks to yet another one of your terrific videos, the Arsia pattern is on my list. Thank you. I’d like to suggest you consider making a video of the Kiti Hobo bag by Toriska. It’s a practical style and size and I think it would be a popular video for you. I have the pattern but cannot find a video tutorial so, if course, I’m reaching out to you….🤞🏼
Okay I’m a quilter and new to this. Can you please explain those fabrics to me again. Thank you. This was really great my sister came to mind first thing.
This bag is too darned cute!!! The colors you chose are soooooo pretty together!!! Turquoise is my favorite color and orange is my least favorite color, but you made this work!!! 😍👍🏽
I Love everything about this bag; but the long top zipper. I just, never get the whole reason for leaving it hang out. I'll opt to do a regular top zipper with a little adaptation.
I love this pattern writer. I have the Yoshi Sling bag pattern from her. I hope to get to it soon! ETA: And I am super stoked that it's on your list to make! Hooray!
Hello! Love all of these videos! Does anyone know what double sided tape she is using in this video. It is not Dritz like she has listed. I have gone through three rolls of Dritz and it never holds anything. Any help would be appreciated:)
Great tutorial as usual Jess! Hey let me know if your air erase pen mark goes away, I used the same pen on WPC on the outside and it has never left! BOO!
An absolutely beautiful WINNER bag. Also would love to know where to buy those beautiful Vinyls. Here in SA that we battle to find such beauties. And where do you have those lovely metal badges done? Would love to do the same. Definitely want to try this bag.
First, I love your videos. I am working on this bag and use your videos to help me though the process. When you are adding the front zipper pocket in the video you tape it but don't stitch it to the bag. I am assuming that clip is missing, I would imagine tape and rivets are not good enough to hold the zipper pocket in place. correct me if I am wrong.
And wondering what the response will be to your question of what to do with your very drapey yarn. I have a sweater's worth of 100% baby alpaca and am trying to decide what I should do with it. I love cables. but I think for something so warm I need a cardigan. Any suggestions from your viewers would be so welcome.
I know you list all the machines you use, but do you think you could say which one you are using for each project? Are you using more than one machine to complete a project you are filming? I am hoping to do most with a home machine but it would be helpful to know when you have to use a stronger option.
Did you need to adjust the percentage on the pattern when you printed it? I did does not happen often but the 1 inch square at 100 percent was an 1/8 inch off
Don't give up because of the number of pattern pieces, really! You will be so pumped and proud of yourself for making such a wonderful bag! Just think about it. I made a bag that had 25+ pieces and I did not regret it for a second.
@@tracyhastings i have loads of patterns iI purchased over the years , some I have never ever used when I saw how many pattern pieces there were, to me it was a waste of paper, and the amount of ink i went through, I gave up making bags all together now, I still like watching maybe one day something will make me want to make bags again, or maybe its time to just sell everything and give up completely 😞
