There are videos called after hours that Ozzy and Randy and the band did late night on the TV show. Ozzy's vocals are not the best but Randy is incredible and you can see that little man build a power of music with that guitar. Try to find suicide solution after hours the song has an evil title and he was sued because of this song, but when you hear the lyrics and understand what he's talking about it is incredible and Randy is the greatest! I'm so glad you found Ozzy now you want to check out zombie stomp, goodbye to romance, no More tears, and under the graveyard shows how Sharon saved him from dying on drugs and alcohol. I've been a huge fan and I'm glad to see you're digging out some Ozzy and Randy.

@BlackieNuff 6 дней назад
@@kurtpflegl30 The video is interesting but it SUCKS because it butchers the song down, cutting out so many good bits and transitions. It's not even a good edit - it's choppy and sloppy. "Radio edits" and "Single edits" should almost be illegal. Even when they are done well (which is not very often), it's annoying when you know what's missing. Phil & Sam : If you do No More Tears, DO NOT do the official video. It's edited for time and very poorly. It's a hack job. I grew up on the SoCal band circuit and Randy was a friend of mine during that time. At a very young age, it was quite obvious to nearly everyone that he was a superstar-level guitarist and was going places. He was the original guitar player with Quiet Riot and began showing his abilities then. But when Ozzy picked him up as his guitarist, Randy shined! Every time I hear this song it brings back those memories. It's absolutely a fitting tribute to Randy's prowess on guitar. Thanks for this great reminder of my friend and this great song, keep reacting!

OZZY OSBOURNE: THURSDAY MARCH 18TH 1982: RANDY RHOADS LAST SHOW AT THE KNOXVILLE CIVIC COLISEUM: DIARY OF A MADMAN TOUR: Upon entering the coliseum after buying my tour shirt and ticket 🎫 stub processing: I noticed the stage was set up like a medieval castle with arches and bats 🦇 flying around the top of them. There was a staircase leading up to Tommy Aldridge’s Drumkit. The top left of Tommy was where Donny Airey’s keyboards were set up. Stage right and left had to cages with which Randy Rhoads would appear from the floor stage right and Rudy Sarzo stage left. OZZY had a throne of which he would appear out of to start the show to Over the Mountain. Tommy had his drum tech dressed as an Executioner stand beside his kit with his arms crossed. The staircase had a small section that would open and a small dwarf named: Ronnie (after Ronnie James Dio the new singer for Black Sabbath-replacing OZZY) and hand OZZY towels and water between songs. Little did we all know that later in the show: the executioner would bring the dwarf out to be hung from the rafters and later he would cut off his head using a guillotine! At the end of the show OZZY climbed onto a giant mechanical hand that OZZY stood on top of and launched unspecified meat 🥩 🍖 into the audience! Of course it was all an a theatrical act as the dwarf appeared to take a bow with OZZY and the band. When OZZY smiled we noticed he put vampire 🧛‍♀️ teeth in! We laughed hard! I went to the show with my friend Richard and his older brother Greg who was 18 at the time. We were 13. Greatest show on earth! Richard and I were both terrified and thrilled at what we witnessed! Unfortunately the next morning all that excitement and energy was gone as we learned that Randy Rhoads perished in a plane crash in Florida. Richard and I played drums but Greg played guitar 🎸 and he definitely took it the hardest! One of the greatest guitarist of our generation and had just won the new guitarist of the year by Guitar Player magazine. Rest In Peace Randy Rhoads your music lives on! Sincerely, Gary Lagstrom

The songs on the first 2 Ozzy albums were written by Randy Rhoads, Bob Daisley, and Ozzy. People that work with Ozzy say he is good at lyric ideas and melody, so he obviously participated in songwriting. Lee Kerslake was brought onboard before recording the albums. Don Airey played and wrote some keyboard parts in the studio. That version of the band (except with Lindsay Bridgwater on the keyboards) did a European tour between the first 2 albums. After the second album was recorded, Daisley and Kerslake were fired. Ozzy was fortunate enough to surround himself with talented musicians. The touring band was Randy, Tommy Aldridge, Rudy Sarzo, and Lindsay Bridgwater. All very good musicians. The concerts were next-level because of the talent on the stage. Before he died, Randy told Ozzy and Sharon that he would be leaving the band to pursue a masters degree in classical music. He agreed to stay longer than he wanted to help them fulfill an album obligation of live Black Sabbath songs to Don Arden. Randy was not happy about playing that concert and recording the album, and it created a rift. Ozzy and Sharon unfortunately have a reputation, especially in the earlier Ozzy solo days, of using musicians, breaking promises, not paying them, and being ....... well ...... pirates. When Ozzy started his solo career, the financials were in shambles, and he still owed Don Arden money / albums / whatever. So, ya do what you gotta do. But when the money is coming in and the business side is stable, then take care of the people that took care of you. Unfortunately, the chaos, drama, antics, and selfish business decisions have, at times, overshadowed the fact that this is some of the best music to come out of the 80s. Ozzy is an icon, as are many of the musicians that played with him. We went to an Alice In Chains concert last year. Zakk Wylde joined them on stage for the song Would. Dude got a huge response and almost everybody stood up. Why? Because he played with Ozzy.

Saw STP in the mid-2000's, shortly after Scott came back to the band. It was a stripped down concert and they were getting local high school marching bands to open for them. The concert was in Chicago and drew a lot of suburban fans, but they got an inner city marching band to open for them. The marching band went into Crazy Train and the entire crowd erupted with cheers. They were not expecting such a positive reaction and they showed it on their faces, but they didn't miss a beat. Now every time I hear Crazy Train I can't help but remember the joy and excitement on those kids' faces.

Ozzy's solo touring started in the U.K. in 1980. He didn't tour America until 1981, when I first got to see him with Motorhead as their warm up band. Ozzy was in prime form and really wanting to entertain the crowd that night. This all happened when I was in high school, and it's hard to describe the mixed feelings of being sad about him leaving Black Sabbath, but then suddenly there's this huge hit on the radio, and as a young musician, I just loved that guitar riff so much, and of course I love his voice on it, and I generally like the overall structure of it. And so then he toured with it and I went and saw him live that same year in a small arena, and it was really theatrical and amazing. But to this day I just still love that riff, and the the vocals and attitude and effects, it's just quintessential Ozzy.

You need to look up the "After Hours" versions of this song, plus Mr. Crowley and Suicide Solution. These were live versions done in a studio, and aired on like a Friday night in the 80s. Watching Randy Rhodes play Crazy Train live is something else. All 3 songs are incredible in this After Hours version.

Just wanted to point out the version you all listened to was the 2002 reissue. Bob Daisley was the original bassist and Lee Kerslake was the original drummer on the album but in 2002 Ozzy's wife Sharon actually had the bass and the drum parts re-recorded by Mike Bordin and Robert Trujillo. Eventually it was corrected though and the 30th anniversary release of Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman contains the original recordings, not the 2002 reissues

Awesome reaction guys! Randy only did 2 albums with Oz before his death, but they are staples in the metal community. Randy will always be one of the best ever!!! Many don't remember that before Quiet Riot made it, Randy was their guitar player before joining Ozzy. Try the song Over The Mountain, or Flying High Again. 🍻🤟👏

Love Ozzy! Seen him 22 times including 4 times with Black Sabbath. Got to meet and work with him once. You really wanna have an awesome “Diary of a Madman.” Randy Rhodes kills it on guitar!

Amazing that this is one of the albums to also launch the "Satanic Panic"!! As Ozzy says on this song "YOU GOTTA LISTEN TO MY WORDS"!! The actual Crazy Train is the Church at least back then. I was lucky enough to go to this live tour. $14.00 I believe! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎

Any of his songs from his first two albums are Randy Rhoades as guitarist. These need to be heard from the live album entitled Ozzy Osbourne's Tribute To Randy Rhoades. Randy shined like a Super Nova live. You won't be disappointed.

I was lucky to see Ozzy with Randy Rhoades on blazing guitar on their Blizzard of Oz tour, Ozzy's was the headliner with Motorhead the opener, my ears were ringing for days after it! They did one more great album before Randy's untimely death. You should react to both albums, every song is great. Enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶🔥
