@@terracelady The ring itself is not necessarily meant to function like a popsocket by design as it has to integrate seamlessly into the case, but when your hands are occupied (carrying something for example) you can open the stand and carry the phone that way using just your pinky.

Five monts into using mine - zero discoloration. The cases you mention (let's call them "dollar store") are not made from thermoplastic polyurethane (like the Casekoo) which besides being resistant to yellowing - it also sits tight around the phone without stretching while pulling on the sides.

@@mobat4163 No, they just have Apple's price tag. You can't go to the Apple store and say the case you bought started discolouring because it's nowhere stated that it won't happen. I'm simply telling you how mine has been - I know on Casekoo's website they claim it doesn't yellow and I had exact thoughts before purchasing "yeah right". I wish they paid me for boasting about this 😂. DBRAND is another brand that claims to have "anti-yellowing technology" but they don't have a case with a stand built in.

I was wondering the same thing seeing both products on Amazon.
