not really he was too overconfident before fighting stipe, stipe humbled his ass down in first match and since then ngannou became a monster, he started to use his brain and became unstoppable

What's weird was even his second run at the title his technique was sloppy.. he still has brutal kos but they were bad loopy punches, then he walked into the title fight and everything was perfect.. his technique, patience, range, everything.. and Stipe still ate a bunch before going down but that Francis is damn near unbeatable
@@codyeble6764that's why it's disappointing that Jones fight didn't happen. You see he added takedowns to his game in the Gane fight. His rate of improvement is so fast. With no injuries he could give Jones a lot of problems

@@Professor-id4jh Okay, Francis might not be as legendary as some of the older heavyweights, but he came from no background and defeated former champions with ease. His game has evolved faster than most and he is just now reaching his peak. There are other legends that stand out more than Francis and could even beat him in their prime but to say Francis is not a legend is just crazy to me. Started in 2016 btw
He beat a lot of guys coming off their prime after their wars. His streak is a bit overrated imo. Cain was the more dominant HW imo because he fought most of his opponents in their primes
Stipe was trying to take him down and couldnt so he was forced to stand up and take his ass whooping like a man. Jk but yeah francis takedown defense was the difference and stipe didnt have an answer. Also francis faked like he got caught by stipe really good, thats why stipe pushed forward like that and thats where francis got him.
People forget so easily. Going into this fight Miocic solidified himself as the greatest Heavyweight of All Time in most peoples eyes. Ngannou shut that down in the most dominant way possible.

I like stipe as much as the next guy but you're wrong! That punch landed clean but it only stunned Francis, Plus stipe only landed like 1 punch in the whole fight.
That was a strange day, i can see Miocic was not feeling well for some reason, low energy, he was also lighter than usually he was almost 15 kg lighter than Francis in the fight
I wouldn’t say that😂. Stipe doesn’t like the ufc much either he doesn’t like dealing with em. That’s probably a huge reason he hasn’t been fighting. There’s a reason he took the belt from Dana and had his coach wrap it around his waist instead 😂
