If you want a song with a similar tone (but overall more consistent in its style), Let Me Carve Your Way is a great listen. The build-up to the song's ending and shift feels more natural and powerful. (I adore this theme though as a Baiken main.) A weird theme worth looking into just for how varied but weird it is is Drift, idk if you'd like it but it is unique and distinct.
If you want the most updated lyrics, I recommend going with the vids by capnbooker. Official lyrics for season 2 and 3 characters have not been released, but there are a few lines that the singer (Naoki) has clarified.
@@Pepto_Dismall Yeah, Cloud Drop's videos are a bit better, but are filled with mistranslations too. CapnBooker is by far the best when it comes to Guilty Gear Lyrics and I highly recommend them.
Well, if you want some of the weirder songs, Drift (Happy Chaos's theme) is the weirdest you can get. If you want some personal favorites of mine, Extras, Symphony and Crawl are my favorites. Also I think you should give Guilty Gear Xrd a go as those songs are very heavy on guitarwork, especially the character themes as they are instrumental.
If you're looking for the most accurate lyrics videos for guilty gear music, CapnBooker is the best. CloudDrops is a close second, but tends to have more mistranslations.
you've been listening to this quite some time. the guy who makes this game loves music. i am a fighting game player who grew to love music beyond these games because of experience like this. i truly hope you enjoy this now. i know originally you said lyrically and vocally this wasn't for you, but i hope you appreciate it.
My song recommendation, also done by Daisuke Ishiwatari like these Guitly Gear songs, is a song called "Haklaiahin" from BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma, you can thank me later ❤
I recommended this song on another video of yours, but Testament's theme "Like a Weed, Naturally, as a Matter of Course" is probably my favorite guitar wise. On an extra note, Testament is non-binary, which is irrelevant to the music, but a fun ridbit regardless. They were actually the primary antagonist of the first Guilty Gear game from all the way back in 1998.
