If you have indomitable Will (the legendary item that coats you in fire and boosts damage by 50%) when in the big chest special area, indomitable will actually kill the carleon soldier dudes before they can actually hit you. I found that out in one of my runs, nice little utility for it.

One thing I’d really wanna see again, if I may be so bold to suggest since it’s not as focused on skul currently, is more “Wizard with a Gun” It looks really cool and just seeing you play a bunch was fun!

I have only recently picked up this game and pike is one of my favorite. Watching your videos has helped me soo much! Also made me feel better about some of the nonsense this game will throw at you 😅.
Know your doing Skul now but have to tell you that Nightmare the Lunatic is a top tier rogue. Best parry system, tons of weapon swapping and insanely powerful builds, while really challenging. Awesome meta progression system (nightmare extractor completely opens the game up to OP vuilds) and the story is deeper than it looks. Really hope you cover it again cause its up there with Skul in terms of top rogues.
Something i noticed is that the goblet wasnt procing because all of pikes attacks at legendary dont count as normal attacks so it was just sitting in ur inventory not doing much
I understand there's some good usage for the former diving jump attack, but honestly I'm just happy I'm no longer gonna accidentally throw myself off of cliffs. Now if you really wanna go crazy on basic Skul: that one item that reduces 2 seconds of cooldown of another skill when you use a skill. That and any of the damaging itens (Mage's necklace, gravity generator, tree cudgel...) and it's almost a free win.

Can I just say that pike runs just have a way for becoming busted 90% of the time. I recently had a run (on console with the lesser but fun air attack) that started with the chain sickle which then transformed into an omen masterpiece run with the boots, the gauntlet, mithril armor, sage's time, the omen, and around five scrapped wooden dolls for 250% more damage.
@@warpstarrogue3554 my best run so far had cloned Masterpiece Omens with 500 in scrapped masterpieces four each omen plus mithral armor, elves boots, and the bleeding masterpiece item. I was pulling in something like 1900 physical before the quintessence that doubles damage given and taken. It was unbelievable.
Since Beelz told us Skul was ps4+ free I had to download, just went from best run act 2 hero fight, to beat gold dad beat storynext run this is like 300 D quarts max. Carleaon set to full Oberon, slime king gave me a second 35% magic fairy necklace Legend gravedigger, unique shield
My best Pike run i got the masterpiece omen, max masterpiece, then clone slime cloned the masterpiece omen. So every MP I destroyed got me double 50 physical. So i had 1000 from the destroyed MP's, them had 600 more from having 5 MP inscriptions. Plus all the other items I had.
I mostly wanted to see how the build would work without it. My heart was set on Kirion, if Thieves and or Gunpowder showed up I would have lost my shit and have to spend 10 minutes agonizing over what I get rid of.

I still convince dark dad is the best boss battle animation and sound compared to others. But that ads segment is really unexpected i was like why the goblet looks like that? Is there any update design but noooo😂
Its unfortunate that the Goblet doesn't work on pike because pikes main attack counts as a dash attack, which isn't an attack. So it's basically a dead legendary on pike.
Just started the video, but... I'm surprised they didn't work Pike's dive attack into his kit along with the change. I figured you could just hold down and press attack while airborne, that kind of deal, yanno? I also didn't mind the dive that much, it was a nice initiator sometimes.
I could have. Was tempted to take either the bleed knife or just the Carleon Sword. But I decided to just get pauldrons because I was worried I'd be rigging it a little too hard in my favour. Realistically Pike runs should start with 0 items to keep it fair on my enemies. He's just REALLY strong as a Common starting skull.
The daggers are always good but sometimes I just don't want to go through the agony of fundamentally destroying all the synergy I've got going. The crit chance is simply incredible and it's a 1 item wrecking ball. But... yeah...

Idk if there’s a massive hp difference on dark dad from dm 8 to 10 but I have little issue just blowing him when building for damage output, then dark skul is an issue for me because he moves so much
The DLC itself doesn't require you to really do anything. When you start a run and jump from the castle there's a new opened floor between the doors you can choose to go in. You can unlock 1 of the new 5 skulls per run from here. Each will also unlock their items into the overall pool. So each run you can just choose who to use and then after that you can find them normally in runs.
Did they remove the masterpiece clone stamp. Because it was just epic. I got it in two different runs in which i was able to get max masterpiece. Now with the mastepiece omen it would be unforgivablely strong.
That sucks. The full MP clone stamp like doubled all your inscriptions or something like that. The two times I was able to pull it off it was my favorite time playing through.
Depends on the build. If you make a full Quint themed build and max out the inscription they want for lower cooldowns and better damage, he's alright. The tricky part is his dodge is almost ''too good''. Because you'll go to dodge 1 thing and wind up landing in a different attack, especially on the alexander fight.
