(1 Corinthians 6:12 KJV) All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. So let's break this down #1 All things are lawful unto me #a. this is speaking of things offered to idols as explained in 1Cor. 6:12-13, Chapt.10:18-25 spoken of in Exodus 34:15 but notice it's not unlawful to eat but it is unlawful to serve. #2. But all things are not expedient. #a. Because they might not edify 1Cor. 10:23 #3 I will not be brought under the power of any. #a. This is speaking of eating things offered to idols, then being brought under the influence of others to serve their gods, as Israel did in Numbers 25:1-3 which was against Exodus 34:12-17
Great video! I would like to hear 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 explained. I had a gentleman use it as a reason we don’t have to be 100% on whether God is one. He believed in the trinity.
