@@nathanielcarew8668 Andy spent so much time in London I think he is allowed a whinge about how hot the weather is …. But at least he could wear a knotted handkerchief.
East Sicily will forever be my favourite place on Earth! So much history, culture and locally sourced produce! Arturo is an absolute cutie patootie, very passionate and knowledgeable! Good on you guys to be creating authentic content 🎉
Ooooh! That pizza thingy looks delicious! I often have onions as a topping , but that looks yum! Edit. I forgot about the cannoli. I love them with pistachios. (Do they ever make hazelnut?). Everything looks delicious. What a great trip!
Just love this channel. Lovely people, so ‘un over the top’ no “I’m super excited about this new spatula release” bull crap. Keep it up. Love the content
Hello Andy, big fan here. That is not the only active volcano in Europe, infact, in Sicily only there is another one (very) active volcano, Stromboli Volcano from Eolian Archipelago. Have you been to Noto to visit Cafe Sicilia from Corrado Assenza?
My Sicilian ancestors did not use ricotta for the filling. The village/family makes a crema filling. I am the last person to inherit the family's 100+ yr old cannoli sticks...and Artua is right the shell is the main component to master...thus the sticks are key to success.
Great vid, but as a avid volcano student there are a number of active volcanos in Europe, Italy has two major ones Mount Etna but also Mount Vesuvius (Pompey ) and then Iceland well how long is the list and can you spell then … just remember when all planes were grounded in Europe due to a eruption
I loved this video! I really enjoyed hearing the stories about his hometown and hearing about the amazing food and culture there. This was excellent! ❤ Edited to add that I love the thumbnail - Andy looks so happy!
Was looking forward to hearing some Sicily tips from you guys. Now on the last day of our trip, close to Giarre, defs going to Cave Ox tonight. Thanks for the recommendation!
Sorry babe. Please stop saying "ecspecially". Don't mean to be a grammar nazi, but the word has no c at the beginning. It's "especially". It's like you're saying aks instead of ask. Sorry again. 🥴
Individual variation in the way words are pronounced happens all the time. Metathesis (letters/sounds moving around) like ask/aks is really common. 'Bird' comes from the word 'bridd', for example. So be careful what you label as right or wrong - you don't know what will happen in the future. Anyway, it doesn't affect your ability to understand, does it? Didn't think so.
@@myhandscarrythem what the hell has that got to do with anything at all that I mentioned?? Go back to your keyboard warrior life and think before you type.
