Game's bad because there's no quest where you gotta press 8 buttons, get a cup, put cave water in it, and give it to a sick man, find some random guy, and then go beat up some random dude on an island. After this, you gotta go back to the random guy, and get a relic, take the relic to some random structure, and then go kill some boss. If this quest isn't in the game, the game isn't worth playing.
@@EclipseGameplays You're right. I didn't mention that this is the only way to unlock an ability located on a structure only accessible by a secret on top of an island, then you go to the top of a temple, and talk to a guy. Not to mention, if you haven't done the quest beforehand, this guy doesn't even tell you this. Best quest, change my mind.
That deer tanking more hit than a actual player is just something else (Edit: please someone explain what “shikanokonokonokokoshitantan” means.) (2nd Edit: I think this anime and opening song is gonna hunt me until it’s free on Crunchyroll and I think I’m now truly and is completely scared and terrified of deer”
ECLIIIIIIPSE, THE PLURAL OF DEER IS *DEER* NOT DEERS, ECLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPSE, DON'T DO IT, DON'T BECOME THE THING YOU SWORE TO DESTROY, ECLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPSE
It’s a semi-useless place lmao, the only good part of it is you can fight wedge by going up on the walls to continue onward into the invisible platform and sacrificing enough hp to fight him.
i tried this game, had given up for 3 hours and did not find out how to do anything. why would anyone ever even be NEAR recommending this? genuinely one of the most mediocre experiences on roblox
whats hilarious is that my friend has a connection with the main developer my friend is a developer that is relatively new to development and has made steady progress although his works arent really the BEST he still shows some decent growth I wasnt really suprised this got a bad review though, i played the game and got confused immediately
Yeah I wish the game was a little more clear (around questing and leveling, and where to buy new gear), less based around stuns, and have less of a difference between different level users (nerf STAT skill points, but NOT active and passive ability)
If you thought this was try Lore Game. I played it for 2 hours and killing some junk people and then this guy turns up to me and says that after 1 hour they had practically finished the game. At least this game seems to give you a tutorial as well as some quests.
i tried it and the most enjoyment i got was knocking people into the void with my fork, this game is the literal definition of a wiki game, and they ban people for giving guides for newbies too, which is like???? why????
Watching this man going reverse ace attorney on a roblox game is like watching a small child climb into a blender and somehow managing to turn it on while inside it
you’re a new bowl, one without a shape, an identity, with more time and experience you’ll become a polished and decorated bowl, don’t give up, you’ll make it
oath:extra abilities you can get through meeting requirements and doing a quest. These give mantra slots, mantras, passives which are essential for every build. Every oath (aside from Oathless) needs to be progressed and when you've maxed one out, you can skip progression with 10 knowledge the next time you get the oath resonance:called bells and do certain things (ex. skeleton key makes a wall, shard bow shoots a true dmg aoe projectile) the best ways to get these are grinding bosses or killing creatures in the depths. unlocking your resonance allows you to speak with the shrine of yun'shul which lets you make specific wishes like removing your oath or rerolling your resonance. to get resonance itself, you have to reach 0 hp in any layer of the depths (recommended to bellcheck in layer 2 with lighthook to minimize risk) if you get knocked, not enough resonance exp
@@lizzardjedi id say 28 likes is pretty high demand, and I haven't seen any other tutorials covering resonances, although maybe I just haven't looked hard enough
@@Ammiad 28 people is not high demand at all. There were WAYYY more people asking for the beginners guide and I’ve seen plenty of half decent videos on how to get a bell in deepwoken and multiple step by step guides on how to get every single oath in the game, but by all means, continue to beg for something he explicitly states he wasn’t gonna make unless the need was higher
Imagine, if you will, a craftsman at his wheel, shaping a bowl from raw clay. This process, though arduous, yields either a vessel of grace and utility or one of flawed construction, betraying the inexperience or negligence of its maker. In this metaphorical workshop, Meciuvor stands as a bowl that has emerged from the kiln with cracks and inconsistencies-a creation born of haste and lacking the vital craftsmanship that defines a truly well-made piece. The crafting of Meciuvor is akin to a potter working with insufficient knowledge of their medium. The game's design is shrouded in a haze of confusion, much like a bowl shaped without understanding the properties of the clay. Essential information is obscured or absent, leaving the player-like the potter-struggling to create something cohesive from the incomplete instructions. The game’s structure feels as though it is missing key elements, akin to a bowl that cannot hold water because the maker has overlooked a fundamental flaw in the process. In stark contrast, we have Blox Fruit, a bowl crafted by a master artisan. Every element is meticulously refined, every curve and line of its gameplay polished to perfection. The act of defeating eight NPCs is not merely a task, but a demonstration of finely honed game design, where each interaction, each challenge, is perfectly balanced to provide satisfaction and progression. This bowl, unlike the one shaped in Meciuvor, holds its form with elegance, showcasing a level of craftsmanship that Meciuvor sorely lacks. Thus, while Meciuvor is a bowl marred by confusion and a lack of essential craftsmanship, Blox Fruits is a testament to the art of game design, where even the simplest tasks are elevated by the care and precision of their execution.
@@FireworkIncenseI do admit if I tried to abandon an orc, got jumped, got saved by the orc and he invited me to his gang AGAIN, nah I'm just accepting him as a best friend I don't got the heart to deny this man after that.
@@FireworkIncense with you as the focus, bro got his ass saved and carried and decided to be rude about it, the average player not doing that shit for content would 101% not react like that.
@@aven2rine. to be fair, he prob was tired of all the shit he has gone through in this game and wasnt thinking long term of "oh I can get help, nice!" also he prob wants solo progression.
Although this game is clearly bad, I do like THE CONCEPT of an random event that happens where evil enemies just fill the server, like a daily(or almost?) "dark hour" that strikes a Fantasy Land.
ngl, they should make a roblox game where you write an wiki which your also forced to learn the mechanics on your own while writing it. Eclipse will love this game trust.
why would people bother writing their own wiki for a game if they can either just remember information or just look on an actual wiki article? I feel this would only work on a puzzle game
It's crazy that almost every single one of these are just worse deepwoken. Almost none try to reinvent everything and are just half-baked systems that take DW's unnecessarily convoluted intro as the basis of their entire game. As bad as all of these games are, at least Arcane Lineage tried to make combat unique. I'm not sure I can say anything positive for this and the many others like it.
@@AnFi-du8lu I got like 6 hrs on deepwoken bro anyone can see the blatant similarities 😭 Don't get me wrong, I'd love for merciuorruror or whatever to be good, but it shows me no reason to play it over deepwoken. Arcane Lineage, as awful as the new player onboarding is, had enough differences to warrant me playing it (The combat isn't identical for starters). ofc I'm gonna compare it to DW when its the best game on Roblox to do what these games want to do. That's the entire reason genres like "soulslike," "roguelike," etc exist -> these were the first to really master that sort of system.
I kinda played the game in the mindset of exploring than fighting like lore game. The map appears big but isn't really that big. But there are a decent amount of stuff to explore. Even places that seem like decoration have something in them you may need for a quest. I didn't mind the big ol plains that much, because unlike other games that put a big fog ambience around you, you can see far enough to know where you want to go. The combat is casual and all that. But what made me give up the game was the lag spikes that would happen every 10 seconds. I wouldn't call this game a wiki game, I explored like 80% of the map as a freshie and figured out what to do (aside from earning exp which I had to ask someone along the way). I just wish this game was a bit more fleshed out, rather than being a small project.
I remember meeting the owner of the game due to an exploiter giving out random stuff and I literally told him "Owner fix the horrible hitboxes" He continued to ignore me and leave the game after solving the issue.
@@Ro_Gamireven me, a new player, can tell you that half the hits that are supposed to land don’t. It needs better hit boxes in general, he’s not crying about an obviously bigger weapon, having obviously bigger hitboxes
funny how theres a video 9 days ago saying this game is a hidden gem okay for some tips if your ever gonna play this game ever again: 1. copper and bronze stuff sucks, try to get iron item and above 2. go around and open chests and kill deers, its a long process but it will help give you resources and EXP. 3. do not go to the dark forest at night unless your level 10, because shades spawns there alot. 4. for getting silvers you should do quests like Tristan's and Dyrenne's (Tristan is at Blackmotte and Dyrenne is located at a small camp in the far mountain), their really easy and give you pretty good amount of silvers. 5. stay inside Blackmotte if its bloodmoon, them naguals will gang on you if your under level (i recommend being level 8 - 10 to be able to handle 2 to 3 of them with no cheesing) 6. learn techniques to deal with alot of enemies, i recommend saving your super dash in emergency situation, since normal dash sucks for dodging. 7. always block and wait for the enemy to hit your shield, then attack back, if they prepare a heavy either super dash away, or attack back (if your weapon isnt slow) kicking also works. 8. keep eating, having the Starving status affects everything on you, so make meals and feed yourself. 9. theres a location behind the Blackmotte in a beach like location that contains Sunken Steel, which is pretty good if you have enough silvers to make the armours and weapons. 10. if you can, try killing the NPCs, they give you alot of EXP. Lauren, Dyrenne, Prisoner, and Anabelle are easy picking, but Anabelle do fight back though. 11. having good ping is a MUST NEED in this game, 80 should be good enough. 12. Pike, Short spear, and Arming sword Naguals are scary Once your high level enough you'll be able to handle the rest of the game on your own. if you can bring a friend with you, it will make the game much more enjoyable
The combat is very stun based and I see lots of true combos happening if the super dash wasn’t a thing, which is pretty bad considering the cooldown for it is already pretty long. The game is pretty unclear as well, I couldn’t understand where to go to get new gear, or a clear way to get ores besides the chest along the lake coldwater
A few other things to note: The character creation appears to be ripped straight from arcane odyssey, alot of games have character creation menus but the way this one is formatted and styled appears to be directly ripped from arcane odyssey. The lore in the games description is literally just the devs recapping deepwoken ☠
The "He Orcs" clan is like a bowl that's been carelessly tossed aside and forgotten; it's cracked, chipped, and barely functional. Just as a damaged bowl can't hold anything without spilling its contents, the "He Orcs" clan fails to uphold any sense of unity or purpose, leaving their plans and values in disarray. Their leadership is as fragile as the bowl’s edges, easily broken under the slightest pressure, and their actions often lead to chaos rather than coherence. Like a bowl that's past its prime, the "He Orcs" clan is more likely to cause trouble and disappointment than to contribute anything of value.
@@Mesterwuuuu i think its a reference to where someone yapped about a dumb analogy about bowls comparing it to sol's rng in one of his videos, the 8 snowmans probably refers to trash blox fruits quests where you beat the same npcs over and over again
stand proud eclipse, you were strong. it takes great strength to play any game besides blox fruit (which is a master piece btw), watched this all the way through, was a fantastic dissection of why blox fruit is so much better than all these mid games ...
This the type of game where you can be racist to players using characters from different fantasy races i wont say whether thats good or not in my opinion. Edit: shika noko noko noko koshitan tan
Honestly, if devs on Roblox want to create an RPG, they should take inspiration from more than just Deepwoken. They could inspiration from the elder scrolls, the FF series, the tales series, Dark souls, etc. It's like having the entire tool shed but not knowing how to use any of the tools inside.
If you look up the definition of "Hot Garbage" youll just find a picture of this game.... I love RPGs on roblox, but this is one of the most painful ive ever played.
when i first tried out this game as i was doing the tutorial some guy just straight up came and killed me in the middle of it, i left and forgot to check it out probably for the better
I played that game too! It was okay in the beginning but there's a lot of bugs in game and aggressive players that will pk you for no reason. So I stopped playing. BTW have you already tried Devas of Creation and Delver? If not, you should try it some time.
@@utapok3310i may be very biased, but compared to this steaming pile of garbage, lore game has actual gameplay that is somewhat fun, not to mention how amazing the community is and how great of an atmosphere it has
I just realized that the mere act of HAVING STUFF TO DO around a big map, even if something small like chests in genshin, is so simple yet so many of these games fail to do it.
I tried the game, got spawn killed like 10 times lmao, there isnt even a shield to protect newbies from high level players what the hell? They just kill you because yes, like how am i supposed to play the game when i have to scape the literal server from not taking my money and soul.
Hey Eclipse, don't be too hard on this game, it's in progress, just like an unfinished bowl being ceaselessly and attentively created by its bowlmaker. As the bowl is spun on its pedestal it transforms from a blasphemous piece of mud into a flawless and stunning bowl.
the first time i played this game i got lost and scaled a random mountain but couldnt scale it further due to a lack of stamina so i just jumped off and killed myself 0/10 wouldnt play again
This game is bad because 3 reason 1. There is no 8 snowman to kill 2. Not a good bowl 3. The dad not weird and strict Good side Sikanokonokonoko koisitantan
Haha I spawned, got shot by a dude with a bow that did half my health, and thennnnn I gave up cause I never knew what I was doing or where I was going.
4:45 there are 2 types of bows. The one your using is meant for very close range, draws back quicker but has quicker drop off. The longbow draws back slower, but has more range.
But if the bow is supposed to be used for close range and it does way less damage than a sword and is way more difficult to use than a sword. Why not just use the sword?
@@normguy5794 a lot of now un-used builds / loadouts would involve using the recurve bow’s triple shot skill as a close range shotgun, can also help in instances where players start running from a fight.
I actually kind of liked it better when it was medieval battleground slop, waiter, waiter!, more nonsense 1v1s and being able to pick random items off the ground please!
You know... the more of these terrible games Eclipse plays the more i question if these game devs just... don't try to play their own game? like from a alt for example to see what a fresh player would have to do to get started and or ask a friend or just someone who has no clue about their game to also play test it. So not only do you with your knowledge of your own game get to test progression and enemies or whatever but that blind player gets to have the new player experience allowing you to build off that instead of making something throwing it in and hoping people just deal with it.
The game's been around for 4 years being unrecognized by the public for that long. Dale's (the dev)'s been listening to the community a lot. This review is brutal and it's unfortunate that he's encountered bugs and stuff I haven't seen before. 😭
money strat for eclipse: since we enjoy seeing you suffer, just pretend that every game you play makes you suffer, even if it doesnt. pros: money cons: people would think you are just an ungrateful man
