Nice job Eclipse, you’ve completed 1% of the game. Hopefully you dont make a ddos video where you complain that there is no game when you didnt even play it 😂
They ARE shameless and devious, istg, a majority of developers follows new 'trends' after another, in order to garner fame and money while the lesser majority of developers don't and decides to follow their own ideas which in turn, roblox's algorithm would just outright NOT show their games such as Hexaria, Arcane Odyssey, Adventure Story, and some honorable mentions of which the player count is lower than 150: Fantasy Tower Defense Simulator, it was released way back before TDS was a thing, it used to be called 'Tower Defenders' but later renamed to the aforementioned to appeal roblox's algorithm, but it did the exact opposite and now, the game is barely alive, it's a really fun game with actual strategies needed unlike those Anime TDS paired with tip-top sfx and vfx, with some towers even having their own voice lines; it's one of the few roblox games that's of high-production value. Magus Revolution, this one is a relatively OLD game and when I say old, it discontinued like 7 years ago, it's one of the few that had fallen victim to the terrible TERRIBLE algorithm and unfortunately, one of the better games at that time of age. (Discontinued)
Playing as a diver just reminds me so much of AOT. You are an utterly insignificant speck fighting behemoths who can and will kill you. One mistake and it’s all over. (And the depths city reminds me of wall maria
blox fruit is way better than a game you dont play, i know you might think anime is cringe or hate grinding but blox fruit after max level is fun (pvping and other quests like levathian) furthermore you can also trade up to gamepasses (so it isnt fully pay2win since you can get them another way ) that make the game better and help a lot in both boutny hunting and pve but also trade up for fruits and be happy when you finnaly got the rare fruit and can use its op powers , sure you might not consider it good if you play for 15 minutes and not even go second sea, but compared to sol's rng, its not just slightly better, its an actual game.
imagine having to go through the most boring most tedious most brainrotty grind which makes you lose your braincells and chromosomes every single second and waste 102373738282 hours for the game to finally be fun go back to your snowmens youre onto nothing
if they ever do make layer 3, i would really like it if people gate kept ways of doing stuff so people could find out for themselves, or any other game that chooses to be like deepwoken if there ever is any
i turn it on overnight or something because i keep my pc on anywyas, i will have this on the background well playing other games im just competing with friends to get cool auras
Reading the diver's books tells you that the kyrsgaurds in firfire cliffs act nice to lure in pray and eventually kill them like they did to the divers. It's not an excuse for a missed idea or anything but its a reason nonetheless as to why you don't get an antiquarian or a blacksmith.
Layer 2 has a couple of unique equipment drops that cannot be obtained anywhere else (or are just VERY difficult to find anywhere else) 1. Chaser's Bloodforged Crown. A red crown with a blood-reducing talent that is SO rare barely anyone has held one. 2. Delver's Duster. A leather jacket from an Ignition Union Deepdelver. It's a mythical equipment you usually get in Ethiron or Chaser But i agree, Layer 2 needs some more love.
about the parasite part, ive talked about the arc suit protecting against the parasites, as its a main point of the arc suit in lore as the flame req is too keep you warm in layer 2.
Every time I see somebody bring up issues with deepwoken I can't help but think: "Oh hey that's ALSO only a problem because they slapped permadeath onto an open world RPG." Don't get me wrong, simply removing permadeath wouldn't solve everything, but it sure would solve alot! Light hook being annoying for no reason: Permadeath. (it no longer has a reason to exist without it) Being forced to speedrun and ignore all the cool worldbuilding because you're on a time limit before you die: Permadeath. (hey you can actually enjoy the game now) Feeling like you're completely forced to use a guide or you will literally never progress: Permadeath. (and bad game design) (trial and error doesn't take several hours per try anymore, a guide being optimal would still suck but atleast trying to learn on your own isn't putting you in the "incredibly brave minority") NPCs deciding they want to be funny and kill you without warning: Permadeath. (would just be funny if you didn't lose your entire character and in some cases could be a way to grind) Players never even reaching the cool content even months or more after it releases: Permadeath. (This just... wouldn't happen without permadeath unless the player in question is completely godawful at the game and refuses to learn progression and combat.) Deepwoken has so much more going for it than just permadeath. So much so that it absolutely baffles me when people claim that it would somehow instantly lose all of its replayability and die on the spot if it was removed. I wish I could enjoy deepwoken for all of those great things it has going for it, but I'm not gonna deal with all this nonsense when other PvP/PvE games exist.
I feel like if they: Added some sort of Burst feature (kinda like the ragdoll cancelling a lot of them have already) to get out of true M1 combos Changed the "can't block behind you" system to a bubble shield with durability and added some sort of quests or challenges to do the game would actually have some sort of value other than hopping on for 20 minutes, fighting some people, then leaving.
I would argue that the light hook is a necessary evil because if you are bad at fighting the Layer 2 mobs/doing the run to chaser without the lighthook active on death you would need to make a new character every time you wanted to get 1 run of practice in which would obviously be annoying as fuck. And also if the lighthook had to be activated manually then exploring would be even more desensitivized as you could get jumped and die at any moment, or fall victim to any of the dialog traps you mentioned. Overall I agree with everything else though, Especially Firfire, it was so dissapointing when I first got there
I'd say people play this to mostly chill and goof around with friends [or at least i do] I don't really want to work towards anything, if i wanted to I'll go try developing or something i just want to have fun with friends [who live way too far away] and maybe gank some people while we emote with eachohter.
UTFCUTFCUTRCUTFCUTFCTUFCUTFCCUTFCRTUCUTFCUTRCUTFCCC OW DARE YOU CRRIIZIC CRITICIZ Y FAVVVVOOOORRRIITTTEEE ROADBOX GAME I AM GOING TO SUE YOU NDGRGGGGGGHJNMMMJHHHHH
What bothers me is that eclipse completely ignored weapons like the kysieger (he kind of mentioned it when talking about the kyrsia weapons, but like, cmon, it shoots laser beams!) and the flareblood kamas. Imo they both feel really special, considering the fact that they both only drop from their respective bosses. Also theres the pleetsky’s inferno, but like… the puzzle design is so bad that even you didn’t know about it to mention it in the first place, so i don’t blame you.
ngl i can see where he’s coming from in this video. what i say is that he should make a pve build makes deepwoken more fun imo. though L2F2 loot drops are hot ass the only good chests to go for is literally the medallion chest and ethirons chest everything else in floor 2 is ass
When I see roblox today, I feel like an ex-soviet citizen watching the Soviet Union collapse. I can sense home somewhere in there, but when I take a closer look, I'm overwhelmed by hopelessness, realizing that there's nothing left of what I used to love. I realize how edgy this sounds, but there's no better way for me to express it, it's just sad man, seeing roblox devolve into THIS of all things, it's just sad :(
