ONE OK ROCK - Clock Strikes "Yokohama Stadium" || MY REACTION!! 

the band members are: takahiro (taka) moriuchi - vocals toru yamashita - guitar ryota kohama - bass tomoya kanki - drums This particular concert at yokohama stadium was part of a 2 day special live where one ok rock played to approximately 60,000 people over 2 days. In the recent years, they've been selling out headliner shows to 50,000-55,000 crowds. they're definitely one of the biggest bands in japan right now. if you want to watch something where taka's vocals are highlighted, he's done a cover of adele's 'hello'. you could also check out the band's studio jam session version of 'taking off', or else their live performance of 'good goodbye' at saitama in 2015 is another good one. all show off taka's vocals.

They actually don't allow recording in Japan which is why no one has their phone out. If you watch some of the fan cams from overseas concerts, you'll see that there are tons of phones out. Clock Strikes is one of their older songs, actually. It's from 2012ish. Nowadays Taka averages at least 20 seconds on that long tone. It's pretty incredible. Taka does not do solo work but because their recent songs don't have heavy instrumentals like their older songs, some "fans" have been insulting the band and calling on Taka to just go solo. It's really sad how divided the fan base can be. You will love The Beginning. I assume it'll be from this same concert and if that's the case, keep in mind that the song was the very last song they sang at the concert. The energy the band brings is incredible. The beginning of this song is so beautiful and haunting. His voice is so angelic and this beginning I think was only at this concert. Gave me goosebumps.

Great reaction~! It's cool that you're open-minded towards all types of music. Taka sings a range from rock to ballads, and I love his voice. Best to check out their live performances; some come with English subs which is a great help cos most of their songs have meaningful lyrics. I follow only one band - One Ok Rock, so can't speak for other bands, but I love the connection between us fans and OOR in concert.... any kind of lights etc are also kinda not allowed in the venue, which is why we usually just raise our hands instead; perhaps us fans are just well trained and know at which point to sing what XD (mobile phone lights allowed for ballads though). Fyi this concert from Yokohama stadium 2014 and earlier are safe from copyright strikes, though be careful I think their recent songs i.e. Wasted Nights, Stand Out Fit In are copyrighted and may be blocked in some countries.

Recording with your cell phone is not allowed in the concert in Japan. The crowd takes out cell phone when they are told to do so. You can see the crowd using their cell phone as the light. Check out “Be the light” from the same concert. The lights are really beautiful!

It was said that 50,000 people in this concert.. And they did more crowded in 2016 at Nagisaen Japan which is 100k people attend.. Last year in 2018 they did "Dome Tour Japan" which is held at four different Dome in Japan that conclude more than 300k people in all four dome. idk exactly how many people can fit in one dome but it is said more than 50k. And actually not all artist can perform in dome japan cuz it have a huge capacity for people. BTS, Big Bang and Twice once perform in Tokyo Dome.. sorry for my eng..hope you get it

About the phones: ina lot of lives of japanese artists there arent many phones up. I dont know why but its like that. Well for a one ok rock conert there were only a few back then in berlin but in europa holding up phones and recording is not allowed too. The security just doesnt take them away etc. So kinda sad if you cant see much because there phones in your view. This band is amazing. Hearing taka live is one of the most beautiful things to witness.

Clock Strike is still considered as "older stuff". This is still rock, new songs are more like a pop. Since Ambitions album. Not saying that their new style is bad.
