Bro, One Ok Rock is coming to Los Angeles and Toronto by October this year for a concert. A new tour called OOR : Premomintion. Go watch it if you want to experience the best rock band concert ever. I've been there and i never recovered. They're the best ever.
With OOR. I can honestly say it's an OOR crowd. If you check the fan cams of this world tour every concert from their tiny 800 people in Prague to their 2 day concerts of 55000 and everything in between the crowd interaction is always there. I always say oor fans are the 5th members of the band. BTW this song was cowriten with Ed sheeran. Thank you for your reaction and your band. Can't wait to here more from you guys. ❤❤❤
They have another version of this one you should see too. Its more intimate and a bit more emotional even. Its called We are fes 18 or something. Check it out :)
Co-written with Ed Sheeran. In fact they sang together the other night at some pre-concert place, then Taka sang one of his songs with Ed at Ed's concert ❤❤❤
One ok rock are absolute superstars in Japan because with their music, their work and their speeches they have encouraged many people to free themselves from the pressure and social constraints and to develop freely. They are almost celebrated as heroes there and I wish they got as much respect and passion from their fans at live shows all over the world as they do in Japan/Asia. Love them so much, thank you for reacting to them ✌🏻🤩
Renegade and We are my two favs songs of OOR !! So happy that you like it ! Taka really has a presence on the stage, the band as a whole actually ! And also, I like your pauses and commentaries, it adds a depth to the reaction, if somebody doesnt like it, the can go and watch the youtube video xD
They are so good. Taka has a acoustic version he does of this with just the piano and his vocals are so beautiful in that. I really hope I can see them in concert one day.
I'm pretty sure that Taka is technically trained. Both his parents are classical singers, so he might have gotten pointers from them in childhood. Also he has had a bit of Idol training if I remember correctly
Even though Taka's parents are really famous singers he never really had any technical training or help from them. If he did it was at a very young age. In high school he got into a huge argument with his parents because he wanted to pursue his career in rock music when they wanted him to go in a completely different direction. Because of that he ran away from home at 16 and his mom almost disowned him. He was working in a bar until Toru asked him to join the band. He ended up writing Nobody's Home to apologize. Check out his performance of it at Yokohama arena 2012. His dad was at that site, it's the most emotional performance he's given.
@@Fatalistic_Viking yes, you are right. I think he performed when really young on a tv show briefly bit I don’t think he’s had a lot of technical training his voice is so good people just assume he did. He did run away from home as you said. It was in the Netflix documentary.
Asian fanclubs organise themselves for the concerts. They choose parts of the song that they practice at home (not kidding!) and they synchronize this way. there are fanclubs who have entire spreadsheets with songs and details on when to repeat what. This is why it feels so epic because literally everyone knows when to start singing, they don't just randomly shout/raise hands.
Luxury Disease is the English translation is their first album. Taka said this is the next chapter for OOR and that they're going back to the old OOR, before they changed their sound to more pop rock, which began with their Ambitions album. To get an idea of what their next album will be like you should check out their newest song "Make it out Alive" live at the one chance festival. For a fun fact, if you reacted to one song a day it would take you about 8 months to check out every live performance since 2012.
Yes, I do. Your voice is another unique one. I didn’t expect it but it’s good. If you do react to OOR Wherever You Are make sure to do the one from the Ambitions tour. Just think J, I hope you guys get to become as big as OOR. Maybe you will get international Japanese fans.
ONE OK ROCK’s paper planes Sutama Super Arena (in Japan)is very fun 😂singer is more fun 🎉recommend. Another singer =Ado’s unravel live ver also so crazy please take a look❤ Ado is not as good at singing as Taka of ONE OK ROCK. But she should be interesting because it makes an impossible voice.😊
I loved your reaction as I’ve never heard of that band before, but they do have that super cool rock/emo vibe. Your band, City of Sound is AMAZING!!! I’m going to check out your tour dates for this year. I hope you’re playing a few concerts on the west coast. I live in the Pacific Northwest, but I have family in Southern California as well so I’d be willing to go to a concert on this side of the country.
Thanks for doing this reaction. Have, you considered doing a reaction to The White Buffalo, he is a grass roots indie from California. Alot of his songs onlone are live solo performances. Somesongs to consider are Wish it were true, The whistler, Pray to you now, a cover of Highwaymam also his songs made it to the Sons of Anarchy series and also I believe Halo 3 ( not a gamer just heard the song). He seems folk/Rock but if you listen close there is punk and definitely other interesting influences. He gets very little airplay but has a cult like following much like the band Rush did.
Pause all you need! You always point out something interesting when you do, usually. PS. Please don't react to BTS yet to come Busan full concert or anymore agust d 😉
