One Ok Rock is best live. So pls continue reacting to their lives. Tokyo Dome has capacity of 55k. A little background, One Ok Rock started in 2005, and they are in their mid 30s now. Taka the lead vocalist is a son of both famous singers in Japan, so his talent runs through his blood. They are popular in Asia and they will be in their World tour this coming September. My recommendation is “Deeper Deeper” in Yokohama Stadium.

I recently discovered this band maybe 4 months ago...and as I was watching their live performances I totally fell in love with them I was telling myself that I need to go to see them live and recently they've announced their world tour so I bought tickets,booked the flight and now I'm just waiting for October to come quickly 😁

The quality of Japanese music LIVE is famous for its high quality in the first place. There are many other great artists in Japan. Japan has a wide variety of music, songs, and artists. and Japanese music is very diverse. Japan's music industry has long been the second largest market after the United States . Until recently, Japanese artists had a language barrier and the Japanese domestic market was too big(The Japan music market is the second biggest in the world,) so they were not actively selling overseas, that's why most of the artists are not known outside of Japan, But Many of the songs that were hits in Hong Kong and Korea other Asian countries in the 1980s and 1990s were Japanese cover songs (many of them were popularized as songs from their own country). However, with the development of RU-vid videos and subtitles, language barriers are disappearing. so there are still great finds. Another thing that may be helpful. In Japanese music, lyrics are an integral part of the song. They are quintessential. Recently, Japanese music videos seem to have English subtitles for the lyrics. You may find it more enjoyable to listen to the song with English subtitles (CC) .of course Not all Japanese song lyrics are translated but you may them interesting. I sometimes see people searching for Japanese music by genre on RU-vid. In Japan, it is often the case that music is neither produced nor listened to by genre. That's why I think it's difficult to search for Japanese music by genre. But that is also the Characteristic and good thing about Japanese music. I recently discovered this band, but it has become my favorite. They have plenty of heavier songs. My favorites are: One by one, Take me to the top, Make it out alive, The begging, Mad world, Ending story. Their concerts are better than their videos. It's better to watch live performances.

You can find out when they formed the band and how they got to where they are today by looking them up on Wikipedia, so I will skip that part. The only thing is that Taka's parents are famous Japanese singers, both of them are singers of "enka", a unique Japanese music genre. (His mother is not an opera singer.) You can see how well they get along with each other by the way they breathe together during their live shows. They respect and trust each other, and seem to support each other with a perfect sense of distance and care. Musically, their music ranges from hard rock to pop songs, and they also excel at acoustic arrangements, as in their "STUDIO JAM SESSION" series. They have always been looking for change, challenging themselves and improving their skills with each album. So, the age range of their fans has become wider, and the songs recommended by their fans have also become wider. Just listening to the songs from the albums "Ambitions," "Eye Of The Storm," and "Luxury Disease" in that order, the change is evident. Since their major debut, they have released more than 140 songs. It would be very difficult if I listed all my favorite songs here lol. I am looking forward to seeing which ONE OK ROCK song will be chosen next💖

Check out song We Are from AMBITIONS JAPAN DOME TOUR. They are amazing, live performance is always better than studio version. The lead singer is Taka, guitar Toru, bass Ryota and drums Tomoya. The are big in Japan.

Actually that minute of silence was for his friend Chester Bennington, they were set to tour with Linkin Park when Chester passed away! They've been around for almost 20 years so it's hard to choose a song , but check out WE ARE and especially RENEGADES from their 2023 LUXURY DISEASE JAPAN TOUR.

he is Takahiro Moriuchi ( Taka ) thats how they call him , well he is from Japan altho i think some period of his life he lived at USA , he is at it since 2005 (thats when that band was formed) and about his personall life i don't really know that much , but i know that he has a younger brother that he is also a singer in a Rock band , his parents were also singers ( i think 1 of them was of opera music , i think his mother) and well he did had struggles with his parents like divorce and i think they were kinda pushing him too , but well i don't really know a lot on that but he definitely had family struggles as far as i can say , his and overall this band's great inspiration was mainly linkin park and Chester Bennington was like an idol for taka (and later on his friend too) and u can see kinda some linkin park influence on this band overall like some screamo etc , and ofc when chester passed taka was hitted by that too , he also participated into the memorial concert of linkin park for chester , also there also u have *Toru* Yamashita (Guitar) , *Tomoya* Kanki ( Drums) and *Ryota* Kohama ( Bass ) , at any case definitely u should go down that rabbit hole they are really good , their style is mostly alternative rock but they have same variety like this song which is more of a rock balad , or they even have some accoustic , and some metal but yeah their usual style is more alternative-emo rock , U should react to Dreamer or We Are , if u want to have some better understanding of them and of their music

Now did you know While searching for a vocalist, Toru ( drummer) found Takahiro Moriuchi (aka Taka), who was in a a different band/groop called Chivalry of Music. Impressed by Taka's singing skills, Toru insisted he join One Ok Rock instead. At first, Taka refused, despite repeated attempts to sway him, Toru iven waited outeside Takas work plase til he eventually, he joined the band.

So I’m not the biggest OOR fan (I mostly know about them because I do listen to his younger brother’s band My First Story 😂) so I trust others will correct me if I’m wrong, but I read somewhere that the long pause at the start was extra long as a moment of silence for Chester Bennington cause they were supposed to tour with Linkin Park… 😢 Edit: cat hair in the mouth is too relatable 😅😂

I saw them in Milan last year, they were AMAZING live, I've waited years to see them live

When I was 19 I saved and got myself a ticket to attend their concert. The first time was in japan in tokyo and I cried. I've been a fan of OOR since I was 11 and their songs helped me so much sounds a lot but growing up from a rough household the OOR and the community kinda made it tolerable. I've been to multiple concerts, in small venue or big arena I wouldn't trade it for anything. Their music is uplifting and for that I'm glad to be in the same time as them.

It really annoys me that people recomend this song out first for this band because they have no context as to what it even means. Anthony ray’s is stupid for this. This song is wonderful but it needs to be shared later and given context first

*one ok rock - never let this go LIVE* on yt channel: kawaiimetal this performance was a classic from way back in 2011, and is a showcase on how they are so good even way back then. o o r is a Japanese rock band formed way back in 2005 and had their first album released in early 2007. All four members are now in their mid to late 30s but look way younger because of genetics I guess. this is crazy considering the fact that plastic surgery is frowned upon in Japan. they are like druids; ageless
