Hall and Oates definitely deserved their induction into the Music Hall of Fame. Darryl Hall ia blessed with a golden voice and multiple musical talents.
I've been a fan since the 80s. I've been to his house for lunch in Pawling NY . He's a talent for the ages! It's June 2024 in Yuma Arizona. Thanks Daryl!!

A real good friend of mine when I was growing up in New Orleans! Used to sing this song to me all the time! Can't help but wonder what he's doing these days??❤❤❤❤
When God created Daryl Hall, he got the talent of about 100 people. He is so musically talented, and his harmonies and melody's just want to make ones heart explode with emotion. There is no blue eyed soul, there is just soul!!!!
And God gave him the most terrific head of hair, one out of reach for any man under the sun. Kidding aside, he and Todd run rings around a sea of so called musicians. God preserve'em all.
There's something very special about Daryl voice. It's so pure and conforting....soothing. reminds me of happy times during my youth. You can't replace or mimic that. I love this man! He's so humble too. Most rock stars get conceited. This man has that special something that's worth way more than money!! Rock on sexy man!!
,,,,I was at A party when I was only 13 and Todd Runn was there it was in West Philly he was very young .late teens I always lived in Philly when Hello it's me came Out he was very down to earth.Kathy Philly Girl.
my dad introduced me to these guys when i was a kid in the 80's, and i am thankful everyday for his forsight, but mostly thankful for the talent of this band, especially Daryl, his voice is ageless
I remember seeing this song on MTV in the early '80's-- I did not then appreciate how appealing Daryl Hall was or is-- Hall and Oates are a great music team-- all of their songs have and will continue to stand the test of time-- they sound as good today as they did more than 30 years ago-- (wow!) I think that John Oates has definitely gotten better with age-- all of the Hall and Oates songs truly are classics--
Este grupo es una gran familia de los 80 y todavía siguen vijente este one on one Hall y Oates me trasporta a mi época solo ellos lo saben y los de mi época todos sus sonidos son maravilloso vibro goso con su musica gran grupo
This song just brings such a warm feeling in my soul every single time I listen to it. So many great teen memories with Hall & Oates! Thanks guys!! :-) XoXo
Brings me back to my childhood I listened to this until the record had grooves in it.. I still sang this so for years later.. still singing it 40 years later will sing it until I die.. thank you for being in my soul.. heart body mind.. and a million other people... God Bless! Sending Love ❤️
Upon feeling that incredible and powerful feeling of explosiveness just blow-about and erupt in truthfullness and sincerity . . . . "One on One" has got to be always at the base of the true beauty and rhythm you have had the great pleasure of just looking upon! This song will ALWAYS bring me back, for I have faught against always having to be alone! Yet, I have learned how!
NOBODY better than these guys......LOVED HALL and OATES! Please bury the hatchet guys, too much great history between you two. YOU WERE THE BEST because of BOTH of you.
Hi! Love this song...Love the way Daryl sings it....love the way Charlie makes that sax sing...LOVE the way John seems to immerse himself in the pure beauty of the song! This is a special Hall and Oates song to me! Type to you later! God Bless! Jan in VA
I saw Daryl Hall back in 82 -83 at Tower Records on West 4th Street and Broadway, NYC and He was actually singing this song! There he sat on the stool with his wheat blonde hair and green eyes, he was so good looking, it took my breath away!
En el día de la música... saludos a todos los que nos gusta estas canciones que no me canso de escuchar... la música de mi vida.. aguante la música de los 80.. clásicos for ever...
Love this song, love Daryl and John since the 70's. This song talks about being away from someone you love. Seems sometimes like Daryl changed after he broke with Sara Allen, she was such a constant creative influence for him for so many years. Sometimes wonder of the split hurt him more than he admits, he always has talked of her feelings, the "Sara Smile" playing in the supermarket thing. Wonder if deep down it bugs him too!!! Love to see the emotions, especially when he sings any of his very personal solo compositions, such a sensitive soul!!!
Yo recien acabo de descubrir a este dueto y ne encanta......conocia sus clasicas canciones pero no habia puesto atencion a su estilo y es maravilloso me encantan.....son unicos y demasiados talentosos.....
