Sad to see T-Bone on here....brings back so many good memories with he and G-E Smith in middle stages of Hall & Oates career. Give Darryl and John a lot of credit.....they surrounded themselves with many good musicians that were faithful to the quality of their music/compositions.....plus, their own great vocal skills.
Charlie in that white suit tearing it up with his sax, T-Bone at his precious best, and Daryl totally unmatched....every time he sings Whoooo, I do too...❤️😂💃
I was a huge fan of Hall & Oates in the 80s, but by 1995, the year of this video, I had already transformed into a huge fan of alternative rock, and although I still liked their music, I thought of it as a legacy of the past and I did not even follow their music... It's hard to believe that 29 years have passed since then. The fact that both alternative rock and pop from the 80s have now become memories...
When you see Hall and Oates speak about Soul music and the Philly sound in interviews you can tell they didn't just hear it,they felt it.This performance is a joy to watch Darryl
Daryl has that golden voice, one of the great composers and artists in the world! I like John, too but Daryl, not only has the ability to sing well but he's more talented, versatile and really outstanding on live performances!!
Jaws dropping good, so shocked to rediscover this song on youtube live with funky sax and hammond organ C3? plus free style jam improvisation, voices backing vocals.. woow Mind blowing. Simply excellent !!! good O 80's ....
This is the closest sounding version I could find from 1998 concert at Sandstone Amp., Kansas City (opening for Chicago). It was pouring w/ small hail... people were running for cover... not me! I moved down front! A foot of water at the base of the stage, but it was the ultimate freestyle jam song!!
This is a nice song to move your head to........screw you Corona. Love and peace to all. Find some beautiful space in your head to fill with so much fantastic music thats on youTube. Im being transported thru different times. Beam me back Scotty !

I'll do most anything that you want me to... I can't go for that, no way baby...come the time you've got to draw the line ..." So good to hear music and lyrics that say it all as we live in interesting times.. love this song.
@@Tiburon876 not for sure but they went to Japan a lot then and apparently we're loved over there. Daryl did a couple of insane concerts over there solo but same basic band. Konekoxox might could answer that??? I just know I wished I'd loved them then ....I had no idea how much I would....I'd have been there. 😂
Ammmmmazinnng video! Thank's konekoxox....I can go for that...good times 80´s !! this version is spectacular....Show in Japan, alright? great band, great sax-man,great backing vocals, great voice Daryl
Whoever posted this up, thank you!!! I fell asleep listening to music and woke up to this gem. This is better than the album version. I must have listened to it about 10 times so far.
somebody please tell me the sax mans full name,i know its charlie but charlie what.the pure joy in daryls face tells you he just loves music and is big enough to share the spotlight with someone else. that 95 concert was a great one. ive never heard another artist change a song like daryl does and so often. thats true talent.
@Naveen Pathak . I was just thinking of a few I'd seen like Jeff Coffin, LeRoi Moore, Clarence Clemons, Kenny Gee, Chris White and my memory failed....lol....😂
