I've met him at various comic cons around the country. And at the Mr. Wyoming contests in the 90s, where he was a guest poser. He's always very kind. And he seemed to remember me, which i feel very honored considering how many people/fans he's met over the years.
I had the pleasure meet this warm and wonderful man and his wife when I was a college student back in the early 1980s. I worked as a security guard at the CNN Hollywood Bureau office where he was waiting to be interviewed. He is kind and genuine
I'm sure Lou doesn't miss sitting in the makeup chair for 3-4 hours at a time having the green makeup put on him, then another two hours having it taken off, not to mention the contacts he had to wear.
