@@sinancothebest Probably will be tbh, even though I personally want to see the rest of the fight I think long term it might be better for the story. Reason being we won't see Blackbeard's full arsenal nor that of his crew so we'll be able to persevere that moment for their run in with the Strawhats. Next time we see Law he'll be bloodied and the heart pirates will be on their backs, looking like 😵
@@JYGtube I got my money on someone showing up and helping Law (whether on purpose on by accident) when he's close to getting beat, then BB will be forced to retreat, he might still get the poneglyph sketches though

@@akxay While he never says he doesn't like his mother, he was more loyal to his siblings than her. He acknowledges how everyone is terrified of his mother. Also, Law & Kidd defeated Big Mom, not Luffy. She also went out of her way to go after the SH crew. Katakuri is intelligent enough to realize that Luffy only came to WCI because they abducted Sanji and forced a wedding. Everything is Big Mom's fault and Katakuri can probably recognize that. Hell, WCI wouldn't have been weakened enough for Aokiji & Lafitte to just stroll in if Big Mom hadn't messed with the SH crew and hadn't taken several of their strong fighters away to Wano.
in the chapter, it shows that the R-room is actually around blackbeard, which allowed law to cut him from so far away. This is what blackbeard was referring to about laws awakened fruit.
The mere fact that the Heart Pirates were about to fight Blackbeard (let alone his new and improved crew as a whole) already was, by itself, a sign that the good guys were about to be defeated. In fact, someone is probably going to die, here.
I literally just stopped and took a moment to appreciate how good your videos are......not scripted.....you make your videos almost unedited and straight hours of raw takes. Your mind makes you one of the most unique OP youtubers! love when you go off tangents!
I confess, I underestimated the Heart Pirates. Nothing against them. They're just dealing with a really bad situation. Sachi was a straight up fishman, probably metaphorically, but maybe literally. Bepo using his senses to scout out a teleporting Van Augur was no small feat either. It is truly rare to see a cover page series actually be relevant in the chapter it precedes.
And Jean-Bart tanked Auger's shots, even if they were not haki infused, with is hard to believe, he can still stop bullets with just his muscles (and maybe haki)
I love that law and blackbeard are talking about the limits and perks of devil fruits at the same time as we are meeting vegapunk, the person who is supposed to explain everything about devil fruits.
I don't remember them actually saying that Kuma's seraphim was acting strange or a problem child. I only saw Lucci calling him a brat which is often just a derogatory way to refer to a kid.
Even better. If the seraphim does have Kuma's memories, Bonnie could just put him back to adult Kuma form and he'd basically be back to normal. Just with different hair color and wings. Probably even stronger.
I think the R-Room stands for 'Remote-Room' since he's able to create a room without him as the centre. I think he creates the bubble in his hand and then throws it at someone else similar to what he did against big mom where he created the R-Room and then threw the room at her head.
I had the same idea, I also believe K-Room is either Katana Room or Kikoku Room (Kikoku being the name of Law's sword) where he applies the effect of Room on his sword to increase its array of utility at the cost of his normal slashes/cuts having no effect.
One thing I recall from Punk Hazard - Law was shocked to see how independent the SW crewmates were, and how easily they back-talked their captain. That was the first clue that Law is accustomed to having a crew of true subordinates rather than a crew independent equals. With the SW being the standard, Law's crew does come off as weak - however, as an OP Devil Fruit user and effective strategist, Law can maximize the effectiveness of a fully subordinate crew far more so than the autonomous exponents that Luffy has.
In my perspective strong and weak are a matter of perspective depending on who you are measuring it against. Certain people may seem weak in comparison to others or under certain circumstances. Two examples immediately come to mind. One is Capone's crew; true they are not strong in the same way as the Strawhats since they rely on numbers and their captain's abilities, yet they are still dangerous because of planning and strategy. Another example, Smoker whom some fans have said has gotten weaker. As they put it, during the first half of the anime he seemed to be so strong that nothing Luffy could do could hurt him and yet now he seems to be so weak that he was constantly getting pummeled. I should point out that while Smoker was indeed a skilled individual the fact that Luffy couldn't hurt him had a great deal to do with his intangible body and now Smoker is in a place where people can bypass that. Where he was stated before the crew entered the grand line, devil fruit powers were regarded as a myth so he would have seemed invincible to anyone passing through there. He has actually become stronger than he was originally but now he was shown to originally be a big frog in a small pond and is learning just how big a place the ocean is. So yes, Law's crew seems weak from our perspective compared to Luffy's crew, but I think that they work well for the circumstances under which they work along with Law's method of doing things.
It was stated before That Blackbeard for some reason feels way more damage than The rest of people. I think is something about The Devil fruit itself , like a back lash .
He himself noted that his fruit is not like other logia types. He feels more pain from attacks making the strength of this fruit its greatest weakness.
Everyone who dunked on Law's crew for being useless owes them an apology lol. Remember what Big Mom said to King? That Totland is missing 3 races: Giants, Lunarians, and a third one. What if Kuma (and by extention Bonney) was part of that mysterious 3rd race? Makes sense he worries about his own mortality. He's still 'human after all'.
I never dunked on them but I did enjoy the jokes about it. It was obvious they were competent to the extent that they were able to sail around the new world for however long they've been there
@@random0activity This is against Commanders of a YONKO crew. His crewmates are capable of keeping up with a yonkos commanders, Jean Bart didn't get a scratch from an attack from Auger, which was meant to injure Law. We know how tanky Law is from he battle with Kaido and Big Mom. The attack definitely had haki in it meaning that jean bart is way tougher than whatever seat Auger holds. If Auger in in the middle, then Jean Bart alone is near 4rd commander position. now for bepo, if the moon is out, we know he's probably 3rd commander level.
@@Snoozy96 Jean Bart lost to blackback...Blackback. we don't know anything about Bepo so saying the moon out then he's 3 commander level? You sre just making up stuff lol
That actually could be the reason Pudding unlocks her third eye. She spent her whole life being told by Big Mom to hide that 3rd eye coz it creeps her mom out. In the context of her falling for Sanji, it was when he told her how beautiful her eyes looked.
I've been reading weekly for the past five years and I swear, this is the most fun I've had so far with One Piece. This is Oda's gear 5th, he's clearly the most free right now, love it.
I've been thinking. What if Blackbeard was ready to go after Robin in order to read the poneglyphs, but Kuzan gives him an alternative(Pudding) to in some way help Robin and the strawhats.
Maybe Blackbeard go straight to Pudding first because he knew she only stay at Totland rather than chasing a pirate crew that always in sail from island to another island..
@@ConfusedBear. Everyone knows Robin can read Poneglyphs. That's the main reason she had a bounty placed on her. 'The only survivor of the devils of Ohara.' Blackbeard has known about Robin for 20 years as has the rest of the world. Blackbeard also knew about Law's fruit, he was just unaware that Law had awakened his power.
Are the heart pirates actually the first non fishman crew that has actually used their brains and realized fighting in the water is a pretty good idea in a world full of water?
12:33 R-Room seems to be a "Room" that doesn't require Law to be within it. Before, he remotely put Big Mom in a Room with added properties and now he did the same to Blackbeard, Doc Q & Stronger, but without added properties. Law is far away, outside the R-Room when he cuts Stronger. The enemy is, essentially, the center of the Room. That's why Blackbeard immediately suspects it's an awakening technique. The biggest benefit to R-Room might be the prevention of lifespan loss. Now Law doesn't need to make a Room big enough to contain him and a far away enemy. He can just make a small R-Room from far away and attack long range. (Basically R-Room = Room+++)
My thoughts last chapter: Law about to get packed. His crewmates are useless. Heart Pirates this week: Shows impressive skills in naval combat. I can respect that.
@@thelifeandtimesofjohnmanny9705 I think so to but I could see oda saving law. Probably one of the roger pirates interfere. Oda loves law and luffy and black beard plans usually gets spoiled by the old school pirates 😂😂
A chapter with Akainu, Aokiji, Blackbeard vs Law, strawhat pirates(Jinbe included this time), Bonney, Dragon and Vegapunk!!!!! This was unthinkable just few months ago, much less a decade ago. Truly in the endgame now

I think Pudding unlocking her third eye because of Sanji could work. My idea of why it worked though is because she accepted it as beautiful because Sanji was the first person who did not demean her for it. She needed to accept the eye or herself to finally awaken the third eye. Sanji validating her did it.
@@donnieconyers2829 Fair enough, to each his own. If that is what you want, then feel free. There have been anime I have watched where I preferred the anime to the manga and vice-versa. I will admit that having music is one advantage the shows have over the books.
Oda has always been awesome. I love that he's finally making the cover photos and weaving them into current arcs. I'm waiting for Enel and others to come into it later on which I'm sure he'll do
@@LPTheGas Yo that would be crazy. If somehow Buggy was able to showcase he doesn't like Luffy, Enel could potentially tag along just to meet Luffy again for a rematch
Isn't the whole idea of the R room that Law doesn't have to be inside it? Maybe that way he can save stamina because the room can be smaller since it only targets Law's current enemy. Also, I think that Brook once said that the Rumbar pirates indeed went to the sky islands, isn't that the reason why they had a tone dial?
My thoughts on Pudding: I think the most likely story for why she's awakened to her third eye(and I do think she has) is that she finally stopped hiding it after Sanji complimented her. The reason why I think this is cause we see she's no longer hiding her third eye (I can't imagine it's just coincidence since she refused to show it to anyone before Sanji). It seems like Oda is showing she's kind of grown up to the point where she isn't ashamed of her eye anymore. It makes her valuable and lends to some more Sanji x Pudding gags in the future
Another thing about Blackbeard's crew, they have Aokiji now who can freeze the whole sea solid. He can stop all attacks from below as well as create a platform for DF users to stand on. Question is, is he on the ship right now, or can Auger just warp and get him there in a second.
I genuinely believe Usopp is gonna learn future site during his fight with Augar, where Augar will keep warping away to fire from somewhere else and so Usopp will use future site to see where he's going to teleport to be able to shoot him when he warps there
I think it would be cool if during that fight usopp said after being told luffy can’t beat blackbeard he said “ YOU CANT DEFEAT ME I AM THE SNIPER OF THE PIRATE KING, BRAVE WARRIOR OF THE SEA GOD USOPP”
I think it would be better if Usopp actually predicts where Augur is going to teleport using a bit of logic, a lot of bluffing and some mind games, rather than just having the magic power that makes him win
Blackbearding taking a Shock Wille is insane for how high his pain threshold is but he also did take a quake straight to the head from Whitebeard, who was probably not holding back
Not only does BB feel more pain cuz of his darkness df but attacks are also drawn to him so he can't really dodge. He either has to tank the attack or block it lol
@@thetruth997_ I don't know if that's consistent, and his DF attacks seem to capitalise on how strong his punch is, although maybe not. Regardless, the fact that he was too old and sick definitely matter because they kept emphasising it.
The whole beginning of the Law/Blackbeard fight had me thinking back on discussion videos (like the one you did) about the Heart Pirates are outclassed just to see them pretty much dominating most of what I'd call Round 1 of the right. The info about Kuma being of a special race is something I want to see more of along with the info/history between Dragon & Vegapunk. Sad I gotta wait after a break but with everything going on it's good for building more suspense.
My personal assumption was that they would manage to put up some kind of fight, but how much was up in the air. So far, they are doing pretty good considering who they are fighting.
This chapter really has it all from The Heart Pirates they're putting up a bigger fight than I thought and Bepo hasn't even went awakened super sulong yet and Sanji in the Hawaiian vibe was great along side Nami-Swan with Robin-Chan also I think this is the first time where cover story ties in directly with the chapter happening in real time
I honestly thought Stronger was really cut in half. The way Doc Q and Blackbeard react after amputate happens plus the fact that it’s an awakening move makes me think so
I love that even though he's still kinda a fool at times, Blackbeard does his own dirty work and his crew love him for that and the party pirate ethos he embodies
Tekking said it as a sort of joke but I think the part about love potentially awakening someone’s third eye has some merit, seeing as Blackbeard was after a certain pirate empress’s devil fruit 🤔
So about van Augur's devil fruit, i think it's probably limited to a place the user can see but since van Augur is probably one of the best snipers in the world his field of vision is so huge the devil fruit just fits him so well. Like in some other video's where people talk about people's inherant abilities power up their devil fruits. Like law being a doctor for his room room fruit and luffy's creativity for his fruit.
I feel like the way pudding is to awaken her third eye is for her to accept it as part of herself. Big mom constantly put her down for it and made her cover it, but since she met sanji she started to be less insecure about it, and now big mom is out of the picture she may be able to read poneglyphs.
I completely underestimated the heart pirates. It's pretty amazing how they are actually successfully fighting back against a Yonkou crew. And Teach had underestimated Law too. Law shows him right now how it was possible for him to be involved in the killing of Big Mom 😁
Love how Law's crew fight. They seems like a unit, taking orders from their captain and rely on each other on the battlefield, just like a modern day army works. They might not be a heavy hitter on their own, but as a crew they seem formidable. That's how they could survive the New World all this time
r-room is a room that is attached to someone else instead of Law. but also i think it does retain force in addition, it seems to have weakened blackbeard's quake, preventing it from destroying the island, and then the r-room pops, like his quake broke it. so maybe its like he used it to block the waves of the gura gura as if they were sound waves
When big mom said there were three races that have yet to become part of her kingdom, it was Giants and two others. We know lunarian is one but maybe he's the other
Not counting on Law to win against BB....but as a doctor, Law needs information on how Blackbeard's strange anatomy works, why his body can consumed more than one devil fruit. Counting on his escape and survival.
I still like the idea that the reason Vega Punk considered his artificial devil fruit a failure was because it was a pink dragon instead of a blue one since Vega Punk was trying to replicate Kaido's devil fruit.
I think R-Room is probably the ability that allows for the immortality surgery. It follows its targets, the room is centered on the target, it allows for more complicated effects within the room, and it is unlocked from Awakening. I think he only used it to start the fight because Stronger was too far away for a normal room to be effective, so he made a small R-room around Stronger so he could attack from a distance
- I never thought I would say this, but… PENGUIN AND SHACHI are the MVPS OF THE CHAPTER!!! - I like to think that Burgess has to make his way back to where the fight is happening on foot because Van Auger left him at the base of that mountain he threw. 🤣 - I’m hoping that Law and his crew manage to escape certain death by Big Mom suddenly appearing to take Pudding back from Blackbeard and unintentionally serving as a distraction.
I imagine Bonnie only made Luffy look like bad future Luffy cause her power weakens targets. I doubt, unless she purposefully targets good traits in aging or deaging or something somehow, that she can make people stronger with her power, only weaker.
Quick theory: Vegapunk downloaded Kuma's mind into his Seraphim clone's body as a way to protect Kuma since Vegapunk's more or less confirmed to be connected to the revolutionaries directly and the Seraphim body "acting up" is because of that.
Something I find interesting is that even when luffy lost 10 years of his life in impel down, and lost lifespan from gear 2, he still lives up to age 70 when Bonney changed his age
I wonder if maybe joy boy originally lived for a century, I mean he was clearly larger than a normal human due to the straw hat, and the fact that there was a whole century erased from time
I think Bonney's Fruit just turns everyone into the worst versions of aging that can happen, or she can sort of choose how they age. I mean, aging Luffy up was to avoid a fight with Kuma, and turning him into Garp would not have helped that goal, so he needed to be a frail old man instead of Garp 2.0.
You know Shachi and Penguin being fishmen wouldn't be too farfetched if not full blooded fishmen maybe hybrids. We've seen hybrid fishmen before Praline, her sister and Vander Decken so I can see those two being hybrids more than full blooded fishmen. As well as the fact that I feel like Law would be smart enough to have at least one fishmen on his crew just in case.
I wonder if Vegapunk saying "Dragon" at the end might end up be referring to his dragon from Punk Hazard, the one Zoro Sanji and Brook used to escape on, rather than Luffys father. That would be hilarious.
Yeah I’m like 99 percent sure that K-Room is just referring to how small it is. His awakened techniques mostly have German names and K is used in German to denote compact (Kompakt) things. For example, the Hechler and Koch MP5 has a compact version called the MP5K.
Well R Room since to be a room he does not need to be in the center of. So he can open a room away from him instead of making a gigantic room. k room since to be he is using it into his weapon, so he gives the properties of his power to his swords. I would not call that compact, like his puncture willie could be completely gigantic, since his sword got like 1 km in length
@@andrejosue98 Well the room itself is extremely compact when he applies it to his sword, obviously I wasn’t saying the sword itself was. It’s literally the only naming structure that makes sense in relation to K-Room and the German language. What do I know though, Oda can be weird lol. Edit: After a little more research, Dutch/German speakers have said it could also stand for Klein, which apparently also means small.
Some people say Pudding might be holding a burning vivid card when she said if mama's still alive, so it could be Big Mom's card And I also notice, I think Oda might be making a real Titanic reference, since Kuzan might be one of the Titanic captians. Like the Donquixote family was defeated by an army lead by a boy from Windmill village
imagine the doquixote family comes to his rescue, and becomes his allies, what a twist. Thatd be the man power he needs to be a yonko. Trebol convincing them that law is their new master and all, would be lit.
I’ll say this for R-Room; I believe the predominant factoid is that Law “shoots” a Room _away_ from himself towards a given target. Standard Room always expands over a given area with himself as the point of origin, but with R-Room, we saw him emit it over Big Mom and now huck it at Teach, Q and Stronger. He can probably apply his various affects in any form of Room, but those three variations affect the how and in what fashion, either around himself, in an enclosed space, or weaponized over Kikoku.
I have been watching/reading manga for quite some time and just now I realized that Blackbeard is one of the feel that I really fear. In other manga a villan show up I usually think "oh, it's okay, the ally will get hurt/run but that's all"...when Blackbeard appears, shit goes down...most of the time he gets what he wants and people die. I realized that because when he showed up and started fighting Law, my first reaction wa "Oh fuck, he is going to kill Law".
The first thing I thought was maybe Penguin and Shachi are like half fishmen or have maybe a grandparent or something with fishman blood. Like swimming underwater for long periods is plausable for people but the whole water canon confuses me.
@@didack1419 yea but to inhale that much water seems Alittle much but I'm more for law added parts to them to allow them to do that like gills to breath underwater and they could ran into some big puffer or blow fish.
@@heroofmasks Characters like Bonney and Usopp can also get extremely fat really fast It would be neat if he modified them, although I wish we could have seen those modifications visually because Law's crew is so plain in designs.
Bepo had the same empty white drawing that indicates observation Haki, more specifically, the same exact EXACT mark Oda uses whenever Luffy uses Future Sight
I just thought of something crazy while I was watching your review. With CP0 calling the Kuma Seraphim a “problem child” and Kuma having lost his humanity, is it possible that Vegapunk transferred Kuma’s consciousness to his Seraphim body in order to protect him? It could explain why/how Seraphim Kuma is acting differently compared to how the other Seraphim act Edit: I doubt I’m the first person to think about this, but I wanted to comment this before I forgot lol
From what I understood of R-Room, it's basically a Room-projectile, he can throw it towards a target and it will attach to it there, he kinda needed a Room around Blackbeard to use Amputate I'd assume, it looked to me like he flung it with that technique (that's also probably what Blackbeard meant, he didn't know Law could create Room without him inside it, it's an ability that could technically be outranged, R-Room kinda fixes that weakness). Meanwhile K-Room, as you said, more object-based, basically turns Room into a weapon he can use, or rather gives his sword Room-properties in this case. As for this future version of Luffy, I think it's not "if Luffy is continueing on the path he's on", but rather "if this is how things stay", if he's gonna stay a successful pirate, a yonkou, for a few years, but doesn't reach the One Piece, this is how he's gonna end up, or maybe just if the idea is he retired right then and there.
There are so many different sized people in one piece that it really creates some disturbing questions about the basic physics of mating and pregnancy once you introduce cross breeding.
I fully accept that auger channels haki through the gun into the bullets. Then uses enel-level observation to lead the bullets directly where he wants them to go, similar to those ribbons that shinigami use to find people.
Tekking, you're exactly right with the R Room. Taking it a bit further, I believe the R stands for "Remote" meaning away from Law. Meaning once he applies it to something, it does what ever he commands it, like silence or amputate, but it sticks to the person/thing it's applied to, also it contains whatever is within it, like not letting sound out, or in this case, not letting the Quake Crash out. Notice how the island is rumbling but none of the mountains are collapsing, the ground isn't breaking apart and Law's crew only comments on how intense the power is rather than how powerful the move is or how destructive. For a quake attack, it does surprising little damage, however the cracks in the air sprinkle a little out of the R Room. So it's a feat both ways, where the R Room can contain the power of the quake quake fruit, but also Blackbeard's quake is so powerful that it can slightly break through the R Room where that mega explosion in Wano could not break through the room. I do think Blackbeard actually broke or popped the R Room with Quake Crash, that's why Law didn't continue to use it
Personal thoughts on Law vs Teech: I have a feeling that if the heart pirates can't disengage, it will lead to their death, their only hope is repairing the sub while everyone buys time to escape
i think him being a lunarian would be to easy. so, whenever we talk about luna there is also the opposite sol. so maybe there are solarians too? so what if there was a god race that split up into the lunarians and the solarians sort of like indra and asura in naruto. and every other special race there is in one piece is due to cross breeding. he could also just be from the long torso tribe though xD
Yeah, like the scabbards seem to be winning to Kaido when they fought . Oda likes to show 1 side winning, until the other side gets serious and then wins.
42:48- Or part of Bonnie's power is she can choose whether they turn into a good age or bad with her fruit, and this is a hint at that. Think about it: one way you turn them into an old weakling you can beat up (or keep from beating up your dad), but the other way, well, have you ever seen the episode of static shock where he gets taken to the future to help free an ultra-powerful hero and it turns out to be him as an adult?
I don't think Sachi's and Penguin's special skills are less believable than, or at all different from, Sanji's, Zoro's, Jinbe's, Koby's or all of CP9's martial arts. All of these are skills that can be used with or without haki, and don't require a Devil Fruit.
