If we take that further, Germa 66 would have wiped out by Big Mom. Kaido would have a lot more Smile DF and would have completed his New Onigashima project. Both yonko would be in a much better place. Also, the warlords would probably keep existing. So Buggy would not become an Emperor. The Emperor list would remain as Shanks, Kaido, Big Mom and Blackbeard. Oh, and Vegapunk would be dead by now.

I find vegapunk worse than Cesar, judge and even queen as he fully knows what a weapon is built for and how will be used, but says that he wants to build it for peace. Cesar, at least when he makes a bomb he do it with the purpose of selling it to someone who will use it to kill and he doesn't lie to say it is for the peace of the world. I still don't understand why the world government declared Cesar a criminal when he would be perfectly on the same wavelength as the celestial dragon, in particular with the gourosei. If I was Saturn I would have gave him a promotion and a new lab where he could experiment on people and mass murder arms in secret to further the power of the world government.
I wouldn't be so eager to think that Vegapunk was very hopeful about a peaceful future. He was more interested in his experiments and peace is an afterthought. I would even argue that considering his intelligence he must know that his weapons would be used for destruction but he just doesn't care that much about that.

Hey trekking, great video, as a bio teacher, stem cells are essentially blank cells that can be used to transform into other cells and take on their function. Vegapunk likely intends to replace her sick cells with healthy cells from her spine (stem) embryonic stemcells are just a variant on stem cells that can just do the same thing but better and with more possible adaptations. Vegapunk intends to do a similar process to a bonemarrow transfer which is incredibly advanced for the one piece world.
Ohh, that ties into the whole "fruits are the hopes and dreams of mankind" kind of thing. The only weird thing is that I feel like the desire to get older is something many kids would have had, so why bonnie specifically? After-all most fruits have probably been around for a while (centuries?) So a new one manifesting from such a common place wish seems strange.
I actually had this same thought! But idk if that was the intention by Oda or not, but it did seem very appropriate!! And now that I'm really thinking about it, I feel like at least MOST devil fruit users ended up with one that fits their personality or goals SUPER well. So I started thinking that, even if that fruit didn't manifest into existence because of her desire, maybe once it was released thru death by the previous user, instead of it going into/reincarnating into the nearest fruit available (which I know is the prevailing theory in the community right now), maybe devil fruits can respawn in any fruit anywhere and actually are mystically kind of drawn towards (or sort of like maybe "magnetically" pulled spiritually) people who resonate with the dream that created that devil fruit in the first place! I know we already know for sure that zoan type devil fruits have a "will of their own," but I think it might be a mistake to assume that that class of devil fruits is specifically the only ones to have this "will." Personally, I believe every devil fruit possess some sort of devil spirit they said at one point right? So they must all have some sort of "will of their own" IMO, and so reincarnating in a place that Bonney could've easily, even accidentally, eaten it could very well have been the will of the toshi-toshi no mi! And if so, it must be because it was attracted to Bonney because of how strong her desire to grow older was!!! Actually, Tekking's comment about the Toshi-Toshi no mi lines up well with one of the few thing we've learned about Devil Fruits. They embody human desire. So is it a coincidence that the fruit that allows you to manipulate your age fell into the hands of a little girl who. . . A. May not live long enough to see adulthood. B. Really wants to become 10 so she can finally be disease free and leave the church. If devil fruits embody desire and have their own wills, whose to say they don't either reincarnate near the person who strongest desire matches their properties or seek out someone who shares their will?
I kinda believe, every devil fruits has their own will. Not only Zoan in particular. And within their life cycle, when the holder died, and their power got reincarnated somewhere in the world, they wasnt just randomly went to places, inserting their power to any fruit nearby. But, i like it if they searching up to somebody who desired their power more than anybody else and went their way out of their own will. Bonney wanted to grow up faster so she (as she believe her condition will be gone magicaly by the age of 10) could travel around the world. So she wished for it, and sure the previous holder died and then the will of The DF got itself being pulled toward her because her wishes to be grown up faster was so strong. Of course not all DF work this way. But, mostly every user matched up their power with their holder personalty. Other may has circumstances of their own about how they accuire their power. And i know its just Oda being oda, weaving his meta and thematic story to matched up beautifully. But, its make a lot of sense why many DF power and their holder personality are complementing to each other, Right?
Since the "will" is a strong subject in the story, even being raw power with Haki, and the fruits were created by Desire, is possible that are attracted by specific people. In the most recent anime episode I absolutely loved how they made space for the scene with Zoro sharing sake with Yasuie and Pedro tombs. I hope this happens with Kuma and the entire Strawhats at some point. He deserves the same caring and respect.
Bonney somehow gets more adorable by the chapter. Also the joke about the old Queen had me laughing so hard when she was mistaken for bonney Kuma ultimate dad. Hope vegapunk clones kuma. Gives the DNA formula to bonney to which it cures her and then she becomes his "true" daughter after the events of ginny. That would be perfect The more we see dragon the more questions I have. I don't think Bonney ate the devil fruit while at the church. Bonney was already born before Ginny and her left the Celestial Dragons and we know Celestial Dragons force feed devil fruit to slaves for fun. I can fully see them having fed one to a baby and since Bonney was too young to even realize it, she's never ended up using it until she unconsciously activated it by wishing to grow up and go out to sea already.
I wouldn't be shocked if her biological father was a gods knight that planned to revoke her celestial dragon linage so he could feed her the fruit and raise her as his "daughter," the fruit being merely a way to keep her "fresh" so he could HMMM HMMM her...

I started one piece in august last year, I caught up almost exactly a year ago, and I’ve been reading the manga ever since. Next week will be the first massive milestone I’ve experienced with all of you and I’m so excited for it.

Her fighting with Luffy for the food, Sanji struggling to keep the pace because it's more than feeding a restaurant, Chopper / Usopp / Luffy having a good time with the fruit, Nami trying to be strict with her, Jimbee being basically an adoptive father after Kuma's obvious passing... I can see some chill and relaxed scenes happening. (and Sanji crying for days after discovering she's a child)

If the female satellites actually do have Bonnie DNA that would mean that York actually has Celestial Dragon blood and it might be why the Gorosei were seemingly willing to let her become a celestial dragon.

Also, on devil fruit reincarnation; what if it's less the fruit has "will" and instead responds to desire? Bonnie's a sick kid who wants to grow up, so the fruit that controls age was drawn to her. 55:56 Hi Tekking, I have a B.S degree in Biology and I can explain how Vegapunk could use stem cells to cure Bonnie,if Oda makes Vegapunk use biology as we know it. So there are two ways Vegapunk can make stem cells from Bonnie, one way is the way you explained it, where he could take Bonnie's dna and make a clone of her. The only issue base off modern biology is that we can't really make a clone of an organism really in a test tube, usually cloning for multicellular organisms like us humans still require an egg and a sperm. And to get a clone of Bonnie that has 100% of her dna we would need Bonnie's egg (oocyte) but she is too young, or her mother's egg (From jannie), but jannie is died. The reason why we need Bonnie or Jannie's egg is because a lot of our organelles' Dna come from the egg (oocyte) aka from our mother, so our mitochondrial dna for example is always from the mother and not from the father. If we have Bonnie's or Jannie's egg we can use it as a host for the clone baby like an egg does for regular babies, and we can take the cellular nucleus from one of her cells (like her skin cell for example) and put it in the egg. Because all of our cells contain 100% of our dna, it is just in development that each cells turn on and off certain genes to make them into specific cells like a cardiocyte or a heptocyte. Now Bonnie's or Jannie's egg will provide the organelle genes that the clone needs and the other cellular requirements for a fetus to develope, as Bonnie's cell nuclues will provide the rest of the DNA that the clone needs to become basically 100% of Bonnie. After that Vegapunk could raise the embroy long enough to were enough stem cells will be made to grow and culture them in a petri dish or petri dishes to be used for stem cell therapy on Bonnie. The only issue for some is the morale idea of weither or not you are killing a life as you end the existence of the embryo that could development into a human being, but I am not here to have that moral discussion. The second option is possible theoretically, but has not have been fully done yet to my knowledge because we don't know how to neccessary do it yet. That option is to take some cells from Bonnie and to make them turn back into undifferentiated stem cells like you see in embryos. That means no clone would need to be made to extract steam cells from and to basically kill and abort the embryo. The issue with modern biology in regards to taking someone cells and making them go back to a stage of embroytic development that will make them into undifferentiated stem cells is that we cannot do that entirely yet. Like we can make some cells go back to an early verison of themselves like they were when we were in the womb, but those cells will specialities into whatever cell they came from, rather than a stem cell that can become any cell depending on the enivornment it is placed in in the human body. So for example we can take red blood cell and make it turn into a more undeveloped red blood cell that will over time turn into a mature red blood cell, or maybe we could make that red blood cell go way back into its development that it becomes the precrusor cell to white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets (as all 3 of those cells come from one verison of undevelopmented blood cell as all 3 are blood cells). I would like to expand on that more but that is outside of my field of knowledge as I deal more with medical biology of conducting research on proteins and enzymes, and I do not work or study embryotic development. But in general you take one of Bonnie's cells and reverse it to an early stage of development that we see with embryos, in that the cell from bonnie will become an undiffereniated stem cell that can turn into any cell depending on where in the body the stem cells are injected into bonnie (the reason is because the chemical enivornment that the stem cells are in will turn on and off certain genes that will aid the stem cell to differeniate into a certain cell like a heart cell, or a neuron, or a liver cell, etc.) Which means no clone, aboration, or egg fertilization of bonnie's or jannie's egg is needed. But again with modern biology we have a hard time making cells reverse back to undiffereniated stem cell, if we could then we would we no longer need to harvest stem cells from abortated embryos that much. And by that I mean the most common way a lot of stem cells are made today is from embryos grown in a lab, were scientist fertilize a bunch of eggs with sperm to make them into blastocysts and harvest those cells from the ball of cells. Which now typing that previous sentence made me relize that Vegapunk could do a 3rd method, where no clone is needed. As Vegapunk could stem cells from making a lot of blastocysts and harvest them to get stem cells, they won't have Bonnie's dna but maybe they could inheritate some of bonnie's dna by exchange info with bonnie's other cells when they are injected into her, because I think that is what happens with modern stem cell therapy, that the stem cells kinda have a blanket slate and can take up your dna a lot to make it its dna, again outside my scope of knowlegde. But yeah Vegapunk could go down that route, but idk if that or the other two options I meanted would "cure" bonnie. As she would still have the dna for the sapphire disease in her and each of her cells, or at least her skin cells. Tbh gene therapy would be better to help turn off the genes for bonnie's disease, or to use viruses to help cut out the disease gene outside of bonnie, which is very hard to do in our world, we do have gene therapy but they have limits to them, otherwise type one diabetes and all autoimmune diseases would have been cured by now. But this is one piece that is in a ficitonal world with magic so Vegapunk will think of something and has as we seee bonnie being 12 years old and alive and well.
I think that Catarina Devon is on that Blackbeard pirate ship and that she will capture Saturn and someone how try to copy his looks then use Pudding to extract his memories and put it in Catarina Devon so that she can act perfectly just like Saturn when "he" returns to Mary Gouise. This would tie into what Aokiji said to Blackbeard about negotiating with the Government while having an important government member as their hostage.
This chapter ties so many things together: "Tyrant Kuma", Bonney's Age-Age fruit, Kuma becoming a pirate, the islands the Straw Hats are eventually sent to, the deal with Vegapunk, and the origins of the name "Pacifista". Next week, Saturn will make his ultimatum, Kuma becomes a Warlord, and Bonney is cured.
I mean chapter 1000 was titled "Strawhat Luffy". It reinforced Luffy's dream and everything he stood for from childhood while showing his progress as he went against the world's strongest man. You can't have a more grand celebratory chapter than that. That punch was so satisfying
God, bakkori was incredibly persistent, he ruled sorbet for years until the revolutionaries come in to dethrone him, he's gone for 16 years until he comes back to kill all the old people in the southern province til Kuma just smacked him away with some injuries, and finally he gets marines on his side to get revenge on Kuma, but finally just gets sunk quickly, dude never takes an L well does he, he just can't figure out all the evil shit he does just won't end well for him
Happy Thanksgiving Tekking and everyone who celebrates plus it was great seeing Kuma traveling to all around the different islands he sent Perona and strawhats to and seeing how his DF really works he can only get to places he's been before. Also that bit with the old old King Bulldog and Queen Conny was funny as hell with Bonney aging up confusing her later pirate crew dude and Kuma thinking Ginny was there had me feeling down for a second 😢 but Vegapunk got a cure and they just wanted peace dammit.
I'm thinking Kuma is dying against Saturn at chapter 1100, Saturn is so prevalent in his back story that I feel like that's how the chapter ends we see Bonney getting cured and the we are back in the present with Saturn looming over her and Kuma protecting her one last time

Weatheria actually makes sense if you consider the sun angle. These guys would be experts on solar effects. Maybe permenant cloud cover around Bonnie, or maybe extracting sunlight out of her. Who knows?

So a stem cell is an unspecialised cell that can be turned into any type of tissue or organ cell. It is not necessarily cloning but there's a lot of overlap in understanding genetics and evolutionary development. Plus during the very early stages of pregnancy, the embryo is just stem cells
I think the answer to where bonnie got her fruit is that it newly cycled after kuma destroyed the castle. It's not explicitly stated but like with the rest of the back story, it is implied kuma killed a good chunk of people in his "one man revolution" and one of the guards or something may have been the previous user of the age-age fruit. Especially since the first time we see bonnie aged up is directly after that event.

I just noticed that Kuma went to all the islands he sent the Straw Hats except for Amazon Lily, and if the theory that's been going on he can only send people to places he has been before, then he must of visited Amazon Lily at some point otherwise it wouldn't make sense how he was able to send Luffy there.
That Toshi-Toshi No Mi spawned near Bonney kinda makes sense considering Vegapunk's hypothesis. She wished to get older as quick as possible so she can be free after all.
It's possible DrVP felt like an uncle to Bonnie and so he made the 3 satellites look like her so he could be reminded of her and have that familial connection. Perhaps that's also why he never suspected that York would turn on him.
We know the color scheme for the satellites from the volume 106 trailer. The only satellite with pink hair is Atlas, her heir is half pink, half white.
my guess is someone in the village who died from the fire attack had the fruit. Seems a recent enough time that people died in or near the church for Kuma to pick the fruit
I actually think it makes a lot of sense why Kuma went to weatheria. Think about it: Sapphire Scales are triggered by natural sunlight. Being weather researchers, they might have invented a super sun block which might help Bonnie mitigate the effects of the disease. It isn't a cure, but it would help.
There are no coincidences in one piece. From dressrosa. It was shown the new royal family has ties to the original 20 who left to become celestial dragon at the founding of the world govt. king riku family was named the new royal family after the Don Quixote family left. There is a tie of blood somewhere but it never specified. King bull dog most be related to one of the 20. Which is why Bonney and queen connie have similar appearance when Bonnie become old. Oda making them share appearance is not just to explain why Bonnie was able to impersonate the old queen . He is laying the ground work to who the celestial dragon family that took Bonnie as a wife against her will. Oda is not done cooking Bonnie story. This is final arc level groundwork.

I just started watching the anime after watching the live action Netflix show. I was so excited to watch Kuma’s intro in Thriller Bark and I’m currently enjoying the Sabaody Archipelago arc. This has been a real roller coaster ride. I really love One Piece right now.
Actually, we kinda do know lilith, york, and atlas' hair color. There was a promotional music video a while back that featured the cast of egghead and it was colored. Might be subject to change but that's the best we got atm
Could we get a video where you discuss the lesser know revolutionaries and try to figure out what their motivations were to join the revolutionary army
While I doubt dragon will actually show up at egghead, it would make sense for the revolutionaries to try to take advantage of the one time a gorosei has left mariejois
I think perhaps the reason he went weatheria is because sapphire scale is worsened by the sun. Perhaps he thought they might have some idea about it or even a bit of a wackiest idea is if they have the technology to stay dry in the rain maybe he they would have something so Bonney could still go out in the sun without the rays actually affecting her.
i was thinking maybe the weatheria wizards were like. “hmmm well we can’t cure your daughters illness, but we could make a massive storm that blots out the sun! then she could go outside!”
