If there's one thing One Piece got extremely inconsistent, it's character heights. One time Whitebeard is only twice as tall as Luffy in Marineford, the next he's supposed to be 4x as tall as him.

Great video, using a different art style is a great choice since One Piece's art style changes a lot during the series and it would end up with characters looking very different from eachother. The animation makes it do much better too.

Believe it man. Go back to Punk Hazard at the scene when they finally reform all of Kin'emon's body parts together. I. That scene Brook comments on how tall he is and you get to see how big he is compared to Brook (who is of similar height) and Zoro who looked like a midgit compared to them.

Sometimes I feel like sizes get way out of hand. Like do you understand how much design structure would have to change if normal people were running around being 20 feet tall? King, Queen and oden especially just feel way too big, especially when you consider Luffy has the ability to make himself bigger to fight physically larger opponents but Zoro and Sanji don’t
