I love how everyone is roleplaying quirky characters and Tekking just straight up plays as himself.

I absolutely lost it when ragnar saw pearl for the first time after DAYS because he hasn't physically looked down

Verona: The straight man that's sick of his crew's shenanigans, but sometimes finds it entraining Duros: The DUMMY THICC, wholesome, and chivalrous Knight who is blissfully unaware in most situations but has a heart of gold. Ragnar: A Brave, hardened warrior who thinks with his heart and instincts rather than his brain. A charming free spirit with literal tunnel vision but is completely loyal to his crew, though he acts on his own sometimes. And finally William : The Jack Sparrow of One Piece

Duros and Ragnar are the best. Just don't give them a devil fruit, they will definitely drown...in a pool...with very shallow water...that they somehow set on fire.

I can't wait for the flashback story involving Rick and his impact on the crew.

I love how this campaign went from "oh look! We have a spoon!" To "We have a bear, we're stranded on the moon and we're going to kill a God" in just under 30 episodes.

Summary of the Crew: Capt. William : a Dealing Swindler. Brigadeer Ragnar : The Stupid Version of Snake. Navigator Verona : Snake. Duros : American Jonathan Joestar.

They can't hit a wounded man despite how many times they rolled, two of them failed to patch someone up. But let me tell you when it comes to card tricks and playing the violin William *nails it*

Duros is like the embodiment of the Chad meme, if Oda drew him I can only imagine his interpretation of Handsome Squidward.

William “Worm Eater” Emanon “Fisher King” Duros “Door Slayer” Ragnar Verona the Shadow “Pink” Pearl Notes: -William's epithet is explained in the comments. - Duros' epithet is obviously based on his fisherman's cap and his cover story. For those who may not know, it's also a reference to the Legends of King Arthur. - For Ragnar I wanted an epithet that communicated the idea that he was "a door". So the name is not only based on the fact that he busted down a door, but also plays on the Fairy Tail and Siegfried idea that being a "slayer" means having the powers of whatever you slay. -Verona didn't do too much; he just kind of hung back, no hate, I just didn't have much to work with. Between his hanging back and his design/stealthiness, he's dubbed "shadow". -Pearl's is self-explanatory. She's clearly a dragon but we can't really use that seeing as how everyone else is unaware, so "pink" is all we have to work with. Also, alliteration. I do these for every episode, so feel free to look for these in the comments.

At first I thought it would be annoying at how stupid Ragnar was supposed to be but Briggs makes it work really well and his comedic timing is great

I like how duros was forced into the roll of fishermen and he’s just going with it

I love that tekking’s captains hat makes him look like Oden

I love how Tekking has a normal earth name then everyone else has a Mystical/One Piece World Name

For Haki, every time they roll a nat 20 for perception or in a battle have them document it under a points tally. Once they reach a specific amount of points have them be able to “unlock” a form of haki. Haki give advantage on rolls and can hit logos if you have armorment

When you say “Pearl,” I think of that one guy in silver “armor” that bursts into flames when he’s upset. His name is also Pearl.

Coming back to this, hearing Ragnar introduce himself without saying "and I'm a bear", feels so weird lol

Everytime I hear noble as Duros I think of major Armstrong from full metal alchemist brotherhood

For a couple of guys who never played DnD before, they did great. Their RP was spot on and when it came time to roll for actions, you could hardly tell they didnt know what to do. I'm really enjoying this campaign so far, cant wait for the next part.

Starting late, first DnD group where i'll sit and watch all the way through. Can't wait for the times they face off powerful bad guys and win through the power of friendship and plain old power.

This is great. Reminds me of a one piece game i played in. I was a bartender/pirate who found the Booze-Booze paramecia on a F1 racing themed island. My dude learned to make a booze "stand" and how to light himself on fire for super attacks

God, I’m feel nostalgia, also I first listened to this on audio, so about four episodes, I had no idea Verona existed, I thought I was a weird voice from briggs.

After the fight with the angelic nun Seraph I thought I’d start from the start of it all. Devils Luck Pirates for life!!!

1. Duros (Charasmatic HILARIOUS super into character. is making this series SUPERRR enjoyable!) 2. William (The most into the game, he kind of "plays" way more than everyone else but without him it wouldnt be serious enough i don't believe) 3. Ragnar (Comedic relief, clear and simple anytime he's brought into scenario i laugh) 4. Verona (I like having a silent character, seems a bit out of place tho SPEAK UP!! lol) Love this tho I've never played or watched DND but this is amazinggggg
