I think one piece is not their kind of anime as it's more adventure oriented and it's gonna have a lot of touching moments and I understand how hard it is to show emotions next to friends plus it has a lot of dialogue that u guys are missing which will be important in the next episodes

Lol. I hope they eventually realize that this show ain't like other anime. A lot of the show relies on the relationship, chemistry and synergy of the entire crew, and putting viewers in the show as if they were a part of the crew themselves. Nitpicking the main characters is fine, but hating on a character for little to no reason will definitely be a detriment to enjoying the show and getting the most out of it.

I can hate on Sasuke and Sakura for the entirety of Naruto from beginning to end, but I'll still have the whole "Naruto experience". But if I were to hate, say, Nami and Zoro for the entirety of One Piece, I'm honestly not getting the full One Piece experience. If that makes sense.
MistaCloudStrife Using sasuke as an example doesnt really work. If you blindly hate him for the entire series, you wont get the full naruto experience either, considering the role he plays in the story. I totally agree with hating on sakura because she played no role in the story except for being someone who wanted sasuke to return and being a medic, and naruto was better at both of those.

SPOOIIILLLERRR: He went from trying to get revenge to trying to kill his own friends, and even when he became "good" again, one of his first acts as a good person was to try and take Naruto's dream of being Hokage. A complete douche move. But I still go the entire Naruto experience. Unless you feel like I missed out on something??

Everything Sasuke has done was justified in some way. He wanted to get revenge on itachi because he killed his entire clan. He wanted to get revenge on the leaf because they practically ruined his and his brothers entire lives. He wanted to be hokage so he could change the village because of how corrupt it was. Not so that he could “steal” narutos dream. Being hokage wasnt narutos real dream anyways. He wanted to be hokage to be recognized by the villagers and hes already done that

Bruh they didn’t even make a big deal about how Zeff punched Sanji. How he was so dedicated to getting Sanji to leave and live his dream, that he’ll use everything in his might. Like even, using his precious arms that were only to be used for cooking. That moment was extremely passionate

Typically I understand when reactors miss small moments, but y'all gotta chill when it comes to One Piece. It's not like missing an emotional moment at the beginning of Demon Slayer that's only 20 something episodes long. Like you're literally missing key moments of characters that you will be watching non-stop for years lol. Appreciating those small key moments is going to go a long way when watching this show. Edit: Now that I really think about it, there are little moments/quotes that literally define major character arcs and themes of One Piece. And bc its so long, you straight up might miss them // ignore them if you aren't paying special attention. I know I sound like a fanboy, but once you catch up, it really gets that deep.

They really skipped over the part where Zeff explains what kind of man Luffy is. I just read chapter 986 and that is still one of the coolest moments of real recognizing real. They just skipped over it.

Hell half the comments are literally about people not enjoying the content, wishing they'd pay attention more, or being annoyed by Rob, the Zoro one being the worst offender. They can keep actin like they do, not take into account how their audience feels, then question why their OP reactions are steadily losing viewers. With Rob's ignorant Zoro hate and the way they keep mocking scenes, I just can't sit through it. It is legitimately unenjoyable to me and many others.
Big group reactions are difficult, everyones individual personality affects the group personality, and most of these guys just dont care about anything that isnt a hype moment on screen. Maybe a few guys would pay attention to the emotional parts, but because of group mentality, the impact is dulled to be unimportant. Reacting is also difficult because people are going to have their own separate and distracting conversations as well as making jokes when there is nothing else to talk about. Unfortunately, One Piece has alot of non-action moments that if you dont pay attention to or take seriously, will make it feel bland because One Piece has a lot of build up of story tension to make fights feel like real struggles. Its a context-heavy series, that admittedly is better to watch individually or smaller groups because you can pick up more details and sympathize better with the characters instead of your friends.

If you miss something cus you were talking, I’d really suggest pausing or going back. Unless you want a lot of dramatic comments 😂😬 but you guys will miss stuff. One piece is going easy at the start but it gets so complicated even hardcore fans have to constantly go back and pick at the anime or watch one piece channels dedicated to explaining every detail. That’s how complicated the show will get, and I’d suggest writing stuff down but I don’t think you guys are the type. But yeah there will be a lot of casual name dropping and all sorts of intricate details within the world, so much so, you’ll get whiplash. Enjoy the journey and pause or rewind when you go on tangents cus you’ll want to see everything if you want to understand what’s going on 💚💚
