@@dailydoseofexistence7159 They all hate them. All three of them. Not having to take direct orders from Celestial Dragons is a large part of why Garp never became an Admiral.
25:41-27:32 .....Luffy definitely looks like his father when he has that look on his face....... That bit at the end of episode 314 when we found out about Dragon being his father, and we saw a shot of Garp, Luffy and Dragon's pictures together and Dragon wasn't smiling like he was when we first met him. Luffy looks like how he looked then. Even if they don't look much like each other (Luffy definitely takes after Garp - Garp's face is older, meaner and squarer but you can't unseen the similarities once you find out they're related), Dragon and Luffy have the same glare as well as black hair.
@11:15 If you remember in Episode 325 after Ace vs Blackbeard battle. This is what the narrator meant about the trigger for the massive incident that will take place
This episode is Ironic for Nami coz she's willing to spend all their money to buy Camie a mermaid while in her hometown she's saving up money to buy her village from Fishman.
When Garp stated that they don't want to mess with two legends, he mean about Rayleigh and Whitebeard. They don't want to mess with Rayleigh while they're preparing a war for Whitebeard.
18:00 Didn't know before this show that apparently the effect of how you bite your tongue off is determined by where you bite it off......apparently bit it off in one place in particular will kill you....
Hatchi: No, don't do anything, it's my fault for existing! Luffy: We just had a whole arc about this, your existence is not a sin. Can't let this one go. *_*punches Charlos back to the manga*_* I am fully caught up (anime and manga) and that remains one of _the most satisfying_ punches in the entire series. I've seen it a couple dozen times at least. Still incredibly satisfying.
Garp doesn't want anything with Silvers Rayleigh. Garp went toe to toe with Gol D Roger, he knows Silvers Rayleigh from way back. How strong do you think the Second of the King of the Pirates is? Guarantee whatever themes you think you may see in the story, you're probably right. Oda's doing a little bit more than just telling a story here. He's using his story to make a point. To make multiple points, really. Sometimes it's a little more subtle than others. This is, after all, _technically_ a kids/teens show. He just happens to tackle themes you don't usually see in shows aimed at anyone under 30.
I’m caught up on the anime and manga. I decided to rewatch it from the begging with my girlfriend. We made it to post Marineford before we broke up.. I’m still glad I at least got to see her reaction to this scene :)
4:01 Uh-yup. There's a reason why Doflamingo's symbol is at the auction house.......and a reason why it looks similar to Law's crew the Heart Pirates. And a reason behind the name 'Heart'. Apart from the fact of course that, believe it or not (SLIGHT SPOILER): Law actually is a doctor.
How did Charlos not die? Luffy punched him straight in the face in full rage mode. Granted, he was in base form, but I feel that this should have been the end of at least this particular Celestial Dragon.
Assuming you're caught up, how did Charlos not die when... **Distant SPOILERS** : : ...he gets hit with Drill Dragon Nail from Sai as well as Leo's tail attack all at once? I've been wondering for a long time how such a dopey Celestial Dragon can be such a tank.
@@the_Nameless_One99 I feel you there, but could you please remove or hide the spoiler names just in case the reactors see this conversation? 😅 Other than that... **SPOILERS** : : he got turned to pancakes by a combo including Sai's inherited version of the attack that opened that special ice continent nothing else could open. And he survived. His tankiness is absurd.
